What an absolutely great video. Two lovely cod to boot. I’m sure that water and snicker’s bar tasted great when you finally got back to the van. Thanks so much for that. Mick
Welcome back mate, really enjoyed your coverage of the NewbigginOpen 2024 including some superb drone footage. Well done on getting 13th great achievement you stuck to your guns and knew the score, keep lobbing out those sausage, egg and bacon stotties and I know it's only a matter of time before that lunker indulges lol. The quality of your baits and big size added to your effort should always equal fish, well done tight lines as always.
Great to see you back sid 👍🏻 congratulations on becoming a grandad 👍🏻 an enjoyable watch mate in tough conditions , well done on your two fish 💪🏻🎣 hopefully the start of a better season 🎣 Regards Arnie
Well done mate, I can't remember last time i fished up that way, some lovely ground to cover. And congratulations on a placing. keep up the good graft.😉
@@grahamsidney9214 I'll tell you what. I could see in the post and you confirmed in the post, that you really enjoyed the day. But that looked like a lot of hard work.
Good effort mate. I bottled it and went on the beaches instead. Weighed in a nice Bass but not much else to go with it. Great drone footage as always I've seen a few spots there I'm going to try this winter. Congratulations on becoming a grandfather. You must feel old 😁👍
@@davidbutler1030 yeah that mark is very ruff and it's more than enough to bully fish through the kelp and rocks but doesn't feel like an awful lifeless poker
Thanks for sharing mate. I respect everyone who fishes from rock end/ skears like that, iv fished that exact spot a few weeks ago but personally I just cant get settled, never once feet like I'm in the right spot, never happy of where iv casted, always worrying about the flood if its dark.... Just cant get into the mindset for a mark like that. I will just be a fanny and stick to platforms and beaches haha. So well done mate, great to see you back and best of luck for the season.
Yeah mate it's ok once you've learned how to get on. Probably not a beginner mark as you have to wade through gullys etc to get on. Care must be taken especially at night.
@@denwill5975 not sure I think it's the reel seat that was on when I got it. The rod itself is more than capable of fishing the heaviest of ground around the north east and is light enough. It does the job it's designed to do. I have looked at other more expensive rods but I've too many hobbies (sea/fly fishing and guitars ) to spend a fortune on any one item.
Another cracking video graham .. well done placing too.. and big congrats on being a granda .. yi divnt look it mate 👍🏻great footage and crack as always too .. oh by the way i meant to ask you .. what is the headlight you use graham .. you mentiined it on one of ya vids last winter season i think ?🤔
Thanks very much for watching and taking the time to comment. The headlight is a boruit b10 . Think it was around the 40 quid mark off Amazon. This is my 2nd the first one died the first time I used it in heavy rain. I was a bit apprehensive about getting another but this has been great although I would be more careful next time if fishing in wet weather

Which Sonik rod where you using please?
I was using a sonik gravity X5 I think it is. They don't get the recognition they deserve, a good heavy ground rod that is very reasonably priced.
