@@thelikotube I have no experience with the Fellow Opus, but the DF54 sure is impressive especially for the money. Maybe if I can get my hands on the Opus I’ll pitch them against each other! @FellowProducts
just got mine! so happy!! i have a sage bambino machine no where near your amazing machine! the thing i find, im having to use the espresso setting around the 15-20 mark :( im not too sure if that's still fine, as ive always heard espresso should be around under 5 mark :S.
Congrats on the new grinder! 👍🏻 really, the grind size should be whatever it should be, and the indicator on the DF54 is not able to be calibrated, so I’d take it with a pinch of salt. The main thing is you are able to grind for espresso and have plenty of workable range! What grinder did you have before and how are you liking your DF54 compared? 😎
@@jackowens_ that is great to hear! before i had fellow opus 2 - too much retention, didn't work well. jumped onto DF54 honestly i love it! just getting used to know when my coffee are dialled in correctly, im getting 18gr in with around 33g out around 30'ish seconds, but i noticed if i go up coarser - a bit tooo quick, one step down finer - not reaching that mark hahaha, but all is good!!
received mine two weeks ago and i’m loving it. I do latte and espresso as well as V60. It’s very capable for all grounds
Awesome! That’s cool to hear. 😊
Fellow opus vs MiiCoffee DF54??? which one is better?
