You are so kind for giving away us valuable lectures . You know , phrasal verbs are difficult for foreigners to learn but with your great help I will not give it up! It's time to thank you by giving back nice comments! Keep your great work up !
Thanks so much. Yes, I understand how difficult phrasal verbs can be as there are just so many of them, each with its own unique meaning and usage. Keep it up!
I appreciate your detailed and clear teaching on give phrasal verbs, particularly three word phrasal verbs. Thanks again for the useful and easy to understand lesson!
Thank you so much for your wonderful lecture❤ I'm korean, and you may know how much struggle to learn English being in Asian. I literally, learning English with your RUclips channel, and I hope to be fluent speaker of English soon:)
Hi Andrew, an excellent explanation of these phresal verbs. There are other definitions related to these phresal verbs aren't there? For example: to give off means to discount price Andrew, maybe, there is a problem in getting notifications of your channel. I didn't get notified of this lesson and the lesson before this one, though I've activated the bell since subscribing to your channel. I've seen the lesson coincedancely. I get notified of all RUclips channels I subscribed to, except yours. I don't wanna miss this great channel.
Hi Nawar Nawar, I'm not sure why you wouldn't be getting notifications. I wouldn't think it's because of anything on my end. As for 'give' phrasal verbs, I usually can't include every single one as there isn't room. I've never heard the definition 'discount' for give off although you can give someone a discount.
Hi Andrew, again!) I think that every your lesson like a little peace of gold. It so wonderful, that I never saw you, but listening and reading your lessons every day! It's very hard to me learning English, but with your lessons it's very interesting and big pleasure. THANK YOU SO MUCH For This JOB!!!!

Give out is pretty the same as break down?
Yes, it's similar although the focus is usually little different (e.g. 'My engine gave out' but 'My car broke down')
@@mapleleafesl6162 thanks Andrew,you are fantastic.

Please explain the difference between 'take back' and 'give back'
It's just a matter of perspective. If you give it back, then I will take it back. and vice versa.

Great !!!
is it a redundancy to give away free ...?
Yes, I suppose it is.
Hello dear teacher
Please clearify on this
My car broke down
My car gave out
Brake pedal gave out
Where to use break down and where to gave out
All of those work well. The brake pedal gave out.
Mr. Andrew your notes ain't visible, I can barely see 'em.
Apologies. Time for a bigger screen?
