Yeah I'm definitely gonna be teaching myself this one once my replacement wheel comes this week. I get so many different vibes from this course and I think this style is perfect. Personally whenever I'm on a lot of other touges, it feels like I'm taking the same corners over and over again so it's nice to see something that has a good range of high and low speed corners, plus some nice scenery to help with some nice immersion.
What an amazing touge, but I think the way you presented it was even more impressive. I loved the jokes you threw in, the fact that you went through the entire course giving tips on what I should or shouldn't do, and the flawless editing, keep up the good work :)
I love the race that Keisuke had on this road against the guy with the red Z in Initial D. It's a perfect display of Ryosuke's ingenuity and intelligence and Keisuke's skill as a driver.
"Old Nanamagari Road" Tōkaidō in Hakone. Truly beautiful... I've been playing the 90sGDSP version and I have loved this for so long. It's a blessing for drifting! (I'm not a racer) Also, the reason it's 7 and not 13 is because the first 7 hairpins are the ones that were drifted. The rest weren't.
Finally Nanamagari is here. Had some experience racing in this path when playing Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift 2 (although it only has the consecutive hairpins), glad to see it in AC.
Speeding through the town part makes me feel guilty and cautious 😂 Some good townsfolk is probably being woken up by screeching tires and roaring engines.
This is a good touge for practicing big rithm changes. Already did a few downhills there and it was really fun!! Good video, continue like this Pd: is better if u try going really slown at first on the last corner before the town, and after that, try going faster slowly. Thats what I do

Nanamagari is so cool, ive seen hundred of videos from the 80s and 90s with lots of cars and people drifting and vybing in those harpins, the 90s Golden Drift Spot version of the touge was more acurate to the real life road but it wasnt the full one like this one

I have been play GTA5M on a server called Dragon Drive and if you haven't checked it out before you def should. It's a free racing server on the 5M client mainly focused on touge racing. It has every touge road you could want (including Nanamagari) and many many cars. They have edited the way the cars handle to make them not like GTA if you know what i mean. It is realistic in the sense that you can really tell the difference between FWD, AWD, and RWD and need to drive them all a bit a different. So you move your line right into the corner, but your line will be screwed up anyways beacuse you need your weight on the rear so your front can "do the jump". It could also be possible that I just have a bad idea and will waste my time on trying it, i will try it tomorrow but feel free to give it a shot if you want
This would be an utter hell drive in real life with all those blind houses & driveways everywhere. Drive excruciatingly slowing at random points or risk hitting some poor schmuck who's just trying to get out of his home.
Whats interesting is this touge is also straights connected by a bazillion hairpins, same with akina, yet this one is one of the best, and akina is one of the worst... I drove this touge as well as akina, but it is more the same, except, since hgis is stolen from initial D arcade, if you graze the guardrails, your car gets stuck in it, and you get spun around + lose all your speed
Interesting take on Nanamagari. I downloaded the road a few days ago and started driving it, but actually found it to be kind of boring, in the frustrating kind of way. The whole thing felt like your complaints about Akina a while back. high speed, then a hairpin or group of hairpins, then high speed followed by more hairpins. Funnily enough I never rally got into driving Akina until I started driving online. I had spent a lot of time on Myogi, Akagi, Shomaru, Irahazaka and Gunsai before that. I started really liking Akina though when I started driving it online. This just felt like Akina with bigger "straits" if that makes sense. So while the straits on Akina are short enough that I don't get board on them, the straits on Nanamigari are so long that I get board, and then frustrated because going into a hairpin, what feels like, every time I get up to speed is not my idea of fun. I'll have to retry it, but I've already spent about an hour and a half on it and only really enjoyed a few short parts of the track. Somehow I find that my opinions of different mountain passes is exactly opposite of yours. Well, people having different opinions is fine, so I just find this to be kind of interesting. I also don't want it to sound like I'm bashing you. I'm not, I actually think that this was a great technical introduction to Nanamigari and will be sharing this video with my friends because I intend to race them on it, even if it's not my favorite course. I look forward to your next video as you do make some great content. Have a great day. :)

A must have !
I just found nice Hyundai Genesis mod, I think he will give me a lot of fun on this touge ☺️
Man, I'm afraid I am going to be so disappointed when World Rally CHampionship comes to Japan this year. There probably won't be any stage as fun looking as this fantastic fantasy-super-stage is.
Pretty sure it's based on a real road, like all of these touges!
This makes me want to buy Asseto Corsa
Do you use neckfx for your cockpit view? It looks nice in the video. Would love to see a video covering neckfx and it's settings, particular settings that give a better feel of g-forces since that's a missing element in sim racing
shoutout to that techeyy guy who keeps making touge beamng maps.......
there were 2 results i found from looking for a beamng ver. of this map; a port of the corsa map, and the techeyy (stylized as 2k in the filename, which goes hard) ver. i definitely like the 2k one more
nice car choice
It looks like the first race in initial d stage 4
The one that takumi used the blind attack in
I was just in a tournament with this map. Upload this exact video a lil sooner next time 😭
The rainbow road of touge
we need this in carx
I think it's the best when cruising at slow speeds at night
I'll have to try it!
@@TSRB Definitely
yep and then have some car meet down in the housing area
My AC with CSP is very un-optimized and everytime I play it stuttering like mad when I start the race but smoothen out while driving, strange.
