Hello `Peter great restoration l have 2 of those to do. Thanks for the tutorial. Looking forward to seeing your next restoration keep well regards Glyn
Very smart restoration Peter, the cab is a bit bent backwards on the chassis, this is a common thing with this type of model with kids pushing down on it whilst playing. Its a gamble if you want to try and straighten it . Tabs often snap off Peter its a pain when it happens. Excellent work it looks great. Looking forward tonext week. All the best Martin 👍
Well done Peter, I am about to start doing some of my collection up as well. I was impressed with the small Dremel type tool as it fit into your hand quiet comfortable. Love to obtain one. Kind regards Ian DALMENY NSW
Thank you Ian. It's a cordless Ryobi that Mrs. PB got for me. I've got a regular Dremel as well but yes the Ryobi fits in the hand quite well. Have you checked out Martin Dare Dinky on RUclips? He has tons of videos on older Dinkys.
Thank you for this video , I have just bought one , I remember mum and dad buying me it in 1960 , very complicated toy to renovate and difficult to find a colour match
Glyn, I really should list the paints I use in the descriptions, I’ll have to start doing that. Anyhoo I’m sure it was Vallejo 70.831 Tan Glaze and Tamiya X-28 Park Green.
A good restoration Uncle Phil, your nephew has done a great job on this one.
Thank you David.
Nice restoration and paint job 👍👍
Thanks 👍
You did a fine job on the restoration of this refuse truck Peter. It definitely looked complicated.
Geeze Geoff, did you have a PB Binge? 🤣 Thank You, I was happy with this one, and happy I got it back together.
