@@Mach1Greeble Definitely. I would put this season just below Flash S1 and Arrow S2. So it can get better from here, but it can also get so much worse.
A couple of great things they incorporated near the end that you might not have realised. 1. Not only does Natalie seen her mom when she look's at Lois but Lois also see's a version of the Natalie she lost due to a miscarriage. 2. Clark puts the crystal shards containing Jor El's memories into the little wooden box that Jonathan Kent Snr gave him so in a way he buried both his father's together.
I think the ominous music is in regard to what Nat being on this earth means for Lois. She's had to deal with the loss of her daughter for a long time and came up several times through the season. But now this is the daughter she never had adding John, Nat, Lois and Clark to have an even more complicated family connection
This show was honestly one of the best things ive seen in ages. May be a controversal (if not a little biased) opinion, but I honestly enjoyed this show more than any of the MCU shows that have come out this year. If the rest of the Arrowverse could get out of the rut its in right now and learn some lessons from this show, that would be great too lol.
No shame in enjoying a show more than others. My only trepidation is that Arrowverse shows for the most part start strong before stumbling. This series seems a lot more focused, no 22 episode format, and has a higher production value, but I have high hopes. The only negative I had was the villain. Edge never quite worked for me, but the potential for an evil Superman without Lois and his family is quite compelling. Most people think it’s Zod though so we’ll just have to wait and see, either way it seems very likely we get the Superman who destroyed the other world.
This series has really been such a milestone. Drama, action, and just plain fun. Authentic characters and they way they were written. All DC shows need this treatment. Look forward to Season 2!
I was thinking maybe that place could be used as the new Fortress, but instead of Jor-El being the resident A.I., it’ll be Clark’s mom, Lara, since her crystal was stolen by Zeta-Rho, but she never said it was destroyed.
Thank you for recognizing the DBZ reference. This ENTIRE season has just been a retelling of the Raditz arc, down to Uncle Morgan taking Gohan...I mean Jordan to reclaim the glory of the Saiyan I mean Kryptonian Race.
Jordan has powers! He was still flying even after he regained control everyone else dropped after they lost their power. I didn't realize that detail when I saw it before thats why I love reactors
For years we have gotten superman but all have only had parts of what made superman superman. Not until this version of superman have I not been so happy and felt so satisfied for the character since Reeves superman. This is my superman he had all the attributes I expect of the character. I'm so glad they finally got him right after so many attempts.
Clark got to spend as much time with Jor El in the fortress as he did with his earth Father Johnathan......If you recall he went to the fortress a teenager and came out a 30 something year old man. In the Christopher Reeve superman movie, Superman spent 12 years in the Fortress learning from Jor El. And that is basically what he did in this show. So Jor El did get to be Clark's Father, even though it was just A.I. But Clark was with him for like 12 years. So he got to know him as DAD.

A pretty good end to one of the best seasons in the Arrowverse so far imo. They really used up their budget for the season in this one , that one shot of John Henry throwing the hammer as Superman holds The Eradicator down and the mine explodes was stunning imo. It was mostly action packed but still had some nice character moments such as Lois telling Jordan to fight back (a nice parallel to John Henry telling Clark to fight back when Zod was in his mind) aswell as Clark saying goodbye to Jor-El which got me emotional. I liked all the parallels and callbacks not just to the pilot but the season as a whole such as Thaddeus Kilgrave’s weapon coming back…my personal favorite was how Jordan was playing Injustice and said “Superman was boring” at the beginning while at the end , we see a kid playing as Superman and praising him ( I wish it was Jordan but oh well).
I’m still wondering where the other Superman is and now that John’s daughter made it through, a Kryptonian could have definitely made it through. Is he here already or will he be coming here, did he go back to that earth and take it over, where is he?
That Dragon Ball Z reference was good. Oddly enough, this show does reflect on Dragon Ball Z. John Henry Irons is Piccolo and Jonathan is Gohan. Would be cool if Jonathan gets his own "war suit".

Tobias Whale (as the final big bad of Black Lightning, i say that this was Tobias' very best season as the main villain as he really almost made Jefferson lose everything) 4. Godspeed (while he does have a very comic accurate costume, August Heart's character and storyline should have been developed more) 5. Speed Force (while the storyline with the Forces sucked, i do think that Michelle Harrison gives at least a decent performance as a villain) 6. Safiyah Sohail (an interesting connection to Alice, but i think Safiyah lacked development as she pretty much disappeared after 2x08 and return again very late near the finale of the season)

I sincerely have just developed a place in my heart for a live action superman that isn't from the 70s. I am wondering if the ominous music when Nat arrived could end up being an issue with her being on this earth. If I remember correctly you cannot have two versions of the same person exist on the same timeline. What if John Henry's sister also has a daughter who is this earth's version of Natalie or this earth's deceased John Henry Irons had a daughter named Natalie.
If it's the daughter of John Henry Irons sister then it wouldn't be the same person and even if this earth's John Henry Irons had a daughter Lois wouldn't be her mother so it still wouldn't be the same person. the X-Kryptonite gives human Kryptonian powers; the Eradicator transfers Kryptonian consciousness to other species. Hence why Jordan didn't need X-Kryptonite when he got eradicated.
But did other world's Lois know that Clark=Superman? It's entirely possible that she never learned that about Clark. Therefore at best to Natalie, the man next to her mom is Clark, the guy from the Planet.
