Guys. Not only is this the era of the 12+ year long Arrowverse journey, but the whole CW DC journey that started with Smallville in 2001. I'm so glad it's been able to end. What a great ride. Those in the future will never know what it felt like as a kid to have your week be like: Monday - Supergirl, Gotham (Not on CW but still) Tuesday - The Flash Wednesday - Arrow Thursday - Legends of Tomorrow Unreal. God, I cried like crazy watching this yesterday by myself, and I cried again watching this reaction. They did such a great job with that ending. It does suck they had to end after only 4 seasons, but at least they were able to give us a definitive ending. Also, it's definitely an end of an era for you guys, too. I watched all the Arrowverse shows with you guys and Melanie over the years, so it's sad that this is the last one, but at least it's on a high note.
Man! Bless this whole cast and crew. This show needs more praise for the job well done. It was definitely one of the best adaptation of Superman and Lois.
Watching it again with you guys made me cry! End of an Era, half my life I spend with these dc shows it all comes to a satisfying end. What way to go out. Thank you
Easily the best finale to any DC CW show. A great ending to an incredible show. Glad it finished before it had time to get worse like most of the other CW shows fell victim to. This one is def going down as one of the better Superman adaptations. RIP to DC on CW. They aren't always great. They were pretty frustrating and outright bad a lot of times, but when they were good, they fucking cooked. 20 years+ is a long run and overall I'm glad they kept a torch going for some of these characters who otherwise wouldn't have been given the time of day. And, of, course, I'm especially happy they began and ended with a Superman series and tried their best to keep this character alive when it felt like the higher studio was determined to forget him. Tyler and Bitsie are now iconic Superman & Lois actors. They should feel proud for what they helped create here. They were both exceptional custodians for these iconic characters. The love and care they felt for them was definitely felt through the screen. Wole Parks should likewise feel proud that he got bring John Henry Irons to life in live action for the first time (the first time!).
I've never cried so much at a TV show, it was heart wrenching, It felt like losing family members, they played their parts so well, it was so beautifully portrayed, great writing, great acting, sad but satisfying at the same time, now we're all in mourning. THANKING YOU BOTH for these much appreciated clips.
This is what I was waiting for and you guys didn't disappoint. This was an amazingly fitting and beautiful finale. What we had with this show was special.
Yes, I've been waiting for this! I started crying during Lois's death scene and did not stop for a while after the end of the episode. I loved this show, and will definitely be rewatching it, and it's definitely some of my favorite Superman content. I love that the final season of the Arrowverse was full of flashbacks, just like Arrow did in the beginning, but it also ended by giving us a full life for our characters, going all the way to the end. I really thought for a few minutes that Sarah was not going to show up at the wedding, so I'm glad she and Jordan got their moment together. The only thing I felt was missing was another scene with the twins after the fight. Also, I think it's really fun that Bitsie's actual husband was able to be in the show and play the older Jonathan, especially since he had gotten to direct an episode this season too. I did not expect the older actors to show up, but I appreciate it more rewatching those scenes.
This was a hell of a series. Very few CW shows hit me in the gut like this one. It kept a lot of things that we liked from the Arrowverse but the subject matter was elevated to where the drama felt very real. The acting and writing were always grounded in reality despite the unrealistic, god-like nature of Superman. The cancer issue that was introduced in season three particularly resonated with me because I had multiple family members deal with that horrible disease while this was airing. I felt many of those emotional moments irl the show portrayal.
He's the best all around superman in terms of: being a husband, father, great Clark/Superman combo ,provider....but Christopher was in a wheelchair...helping people walk again, and helping others in many ways...Tyler may be the second best to ever don the cape, and he's the best multi- facetted superman....but I have to still give the nod to Reeve❤❤❤❤❤❤...no disrespect ...and I'm mad as hell they're cancelling this masterpiece of a show😢😢😢
My point was C.Reeve was great as superman/Clark Kent in the movies( to me he was the best) but he was a real life superman for being a great humanitarian ...is that not heroic???!!!
Its been a crazy ride seeing all the DC CW shows with Blindwave ugh, started with Smallville and ends with Superman like this was the best written and acted show ever. So wholesome and true to Superman as a person and character
It was interesting thst Lois' real life husband as the grownup Jonathan. Also did you notice that Bitsy's hairstyle was a nod to Margot Kidder from the Superman movies. The grandkids were the showrunners own kids. Seeing Clark being a hero without powers was wonderful. Great show and a wonderful ending.
What a ride guys. I've been watch your reactions so many years. Actually, you guys help me to learn english when i was growing up. Thanks for everything, CW.
Been waiting for this reaction all day. I’m gonna miss this show. Thank you to the cast and crew for making one of the best Superman stories ever made. Thank you, Tyler and Elizabeth, for being my favorite versions of Clark Kent and Lois Lane ever, and for inspiring me to be a better person. And thank you, Eric and Aaron, for reacting to this amazing show.
The whole epilogue was beautiful. The forgiveness scene between Tyler Hoechlin and Michael Cudlitz was brilliant. Not a word spoken. Just great acting. The creative team behind this show really understood Superman as a character and gave us fantastic stories. Tyler's portrayal made me feel hopeful. I haven't felt that hopeful about Superman since I first saw Christopher Reeve in theaters in 1978.
I cannot watch this ending without tearing up every single damn time. I got everything I wanted from this finale, and more. Loved watching this journey with y’all.
This finale is one of the most emotional and touching finales I've ever seen for a TV show. Possibly the most! I even cried again watching this reaction.
i've watched this like 5 times, this ending, and i cry, every single time. RIP ARROWVERSE 2001 - 2024. Started with the Best and Ended with the Best Smallville to Superman and Lois.
8 years we’ve had Tyler and Elizabeth play Superman & Lois… 4 seasons with this show and man it went by so fast. Glad to have watched these cw shows with you guys from the beginning to the end. Been a long time coming but we made it.
once again, amazing show. this show was so awesome to turn Bizarro into the most tragic character of the series with him losing his family, his world, dying, tortured and abused by lex, force to be killed repeatedly and beaten by his other world counterpart, no way of him returning back to his own world and accepting the fate of just dying by the sun. it's also poetic that it's Bizarro being finished by the sun but the same thing that kills him is the thing that powers his counterpart.
Can’t express enough how much this show made me proud with its writing and characters. Huge Superman fan and this show nails it to the core. Going to miss this series. Cried like crazy at the end.
Thank you boys for your heartfelt reactions to this show. This series was a pleasant surprise for me. I didn’t watch much of the Arrowverse but I grew up with Smallville. I followed it from beginning to end (including the comics). Superman and Lois, from episode 1, felt like a spiritual successor to Smallville. And it’s so well done- writing, performances, visuals. It’s been so nice to feel that love for a series again. Tyler truly blew this role out of the park. And credit to his scene partner as well, Bitsie. This is the first time I actually believed a Clark-Lois romance. I wish the series wasn’t cut short. Even if 4 seasons was all, a few more episodes and a few more dollars could have made a big difference. But we got what we got and these 10 were better than nothing. Beautiful end to a beautiful show!
That was hands down one of the most perfect ending to a series finale I have ever seen. From season 1 to season 4 everything was so perfect. Sad to see it end in 4 seasons cos this show is hands down one of the best I have ever seen.
What a fantastic series from beginning to the end. Everything about the finale was so freaking amazing. Considering the time and budget contrains they had, they sure did a good job. Fun fact, apparently, Johnathan and Jordan kids in the show were actual kids from the crew members, which explains why they might have had so many kids. Another fact that if they had budget, they wanted to add several characters like Tal, Ghost Sam Lane, Lois sister and Mateo. I'm gonna miss this show, but I'm happy they at least got to end it the way they wanted to, even if they didn't get the seven season they wanted.
My favourite show DC has made since Smallville. Tyler is one of the best versions of Clark Kent & Superman we’ve ever had. I’m gonna miss this show and this cast, loved watching these shows with you guys over the years❤
I loved how the ending of both arrow and superman & lois are the same, with the protagonist and their loved one meeting in afterlife. Arrow being the first arrowverse show, superman & lois ending it, they share the same ending. I loved it. It was a beautiful ride
The last episode of Superman and Lois really touched my heart. They finally defeated Lex Luther. Superman and Lois try, to change the world Superman and Lois grew old together. The last season of Superman and Lois was a very touchy story. I thought Superman will never die, but ever since he inherited Lois father‘s heart, Superman became human, started to grow old, started to lose his abilities completely.
I binged this show this past 2 weeks not knowing it was ending. While i was frustrated most of the show this episode tore my heart out. I felt so emotionally empty after from how much i fell in love of these characters; I'm going to miss it.
Man, Jordan has come such a long way. He's grinning at a girl he had a thing for with no hesitation, just eye contact and confidence. I'm happy for him.
Not sure if it’s a hot take BUT I never grew up watching any of the OG Superman movies (still haven’t watched them) I’m a 2000’s kid. Just recently started Smallville I must say it holds up well. However, Tyler Hoechlin is 100% MY Superman. I think he’s the best representation for Clark Kent captured the humility, pureness, and charm whilst being a badass superhero known as Superman. Before this I didn’t care for Superman on my list of favorite heroes list but this show turned that around. This show was/is/forever will be a masterpiece. 💙❤️ Now that the DC CW Universe has officially ended I can say that Stargirl + Superman & Lois are my two favorite shows overall. I love flash and arrow but those of course had its problems whereas Stargirl and S&L imo have had the most consistent, compelling, and well fleshed out versions of the characters, not too much forced conflict and stuff which we saw with the other shows overtime. The DC CW stuff was a special time period where I caught on at the tail end but i appreciate it I still don’t think Gunns DCU will work out overall tbh…
i Genuinely feel this show was a love letter to the character and mythos of superman. it wasn't perfect obviously, but the way how things were written in such a short time with much respect...i love it
22:15 heartbreaking and beautiful Loved this series so much. Going to miss it. Enjoyed your reaction to it. The bar is so high for what a Superman story should be.
I posted this in another reaction. This show did something that has always been a struggle for Superman writers - they him SO.... human. They were able to create something so relatable. This show was 4 seasons of awesome. I couldn't make it through the reaction without welling up again. Well done
I’ve never cried and been impacted so hard by a shows final message. That hit hard and well . Thank you CW for being part of my childhood and thank you L&C. 4 years , yeah it went by so fast. But I’m glad I was there for the ride. 💯
What an ending I just wanna say thank you for sharing this journey with us Right now Tyler became my favorite Superman. Thank you CW for putting so much heart in this show! I'm sad this ends so soon but I'm so happy I can watch this with friends
Tyler is by far my favourite superman and the most badass one. fight off kryptonite screws plus lex incased in a suit that's laced witth kryptonite and still beating the breaks off him. This show really showed Superman. even with poison rocks, he can still get back up and i love how in a way it gets him mad and it pushes through even further, from season 1 when the dod shot him with the bullets and was angry with his eyes glowing, to even getting the gass in his lungs from s1. man i love the writing. just imagine if this was on bigger screen, or james gunn/cw didn't cancel it and continued to run the show along. i would have been fine with one more season or at least 15 episode count instead
Thank you for sharing that story about your mother Eric. I posted a comment on another video about my mother being murdered and how your channel has helped me. My dad lives in the house she was killed in still that ending hit me hard as well.
Loved the ending. Perfect for someone as good as Superman. I didn't want an heroic death, I didn't want him to leave Earth because he absorbed too much solar power, I didn't want him to live for centuries after Lois and his kids have died. This was perfect. He dies peacefully, happy, surrounded by his friends and family. A fullfilled life. He got to see his sons becoming men and himself became a grandfather. I also loved they paid homage to my favorite episode of season 3 (the red dress), and Kripto was a plus. What a way to go. Good job CW.
I never thought that a tv show about Superman would move me so much to tears. That was a beautiful and perfect ending. Well nothing is perfect, but it was close enough for me. Congrats to everyone involved with this episode
The showrunners did an interview after the finale and got asked about the Death of Superman. They said "yes, we planned on doing the Death of Superman, but we love to fake out the viewers, etc. so when we said we were doing that, we meant we're having Superman die permanently in the finale, not his death to Doomsday - though we obviously also planned that as well." Sounds like they were always going to have Superman die for good at the end of show, no matter how many seasons it lasted

Shaq played Steel before.
@marcellawong229 we don't talk about that. 😁
I've never cried so much at a TV show, it was heart wrenching, It felt like losing family members, they played their parts so well, it was so beautifully portrayed, great writing, great acting, sad but satisfying at the same time, now we're all in mourning. THANKING YOU BOTH for these much appreciated clips.
God damn, Aaron’s reaction in particular broke me.
Finally everybody got to see epic Superman punch 😮
This is what I was waiting for and you guys didn't disappoint.
This was an amazingly fitting and beautiful finale. What we had with this show was special.
Bizarro going out willingly to prevent more harm, like a Superman. I'm glad he could have that last moment.
The best superman/Clark all time. I can't believe the dude from teen wolf is the best superman, and has surpassed Reeves.
He's the best all around superman in terms of: being a husband, father, great Clark/Superman combo ,provider....but Christopher was in a wheelchair...helping people walk again, and helping others in many ways...Tyler may be the second best to ever don the cape, and he's the best multi- facetted superman....but I have to still give the nod to Reeve❤❤❤❤❤❤...no disrespect ...and I'm mad as hell they're cancelling this masterpiece of a show😢😢😢
@@KevinLowe-j5v What does him being in a wheelchair matter?
My point was C.Reeve was great as superman/Clark Kent in the movies( to me he was the best) but he was a real life superman for being a great humanitarian ...is that not heroic???!!!
Reeve was his name god damn
AGREED
Smallville walked so that The Arrowverse can run
The Arrowverse ran so that Superman & Lois can fly
The arrowverse is how I feel in love with Blindwave. Sad to see it go.
Its been a crazy ride seeing all the DC CW shows with Blindwave ugh, started with Smallville and ends with Superman like this was the best written and acted show ever. So wholesome and true to Superman as a person and character
This ending was absolutely beautiful! Goodbye Superman and Lois you will be my favorite!
How many realized that clark was wearing the same shirt from episode 1 season 1 when he told the boys who he was.
bawled my fucking eyes out
Man, the music at 24:20 is too much. I couldn't hold myself from crying
Wow, end of an era.
It’s been a while since a show made me cry this much at the end.
And it feels good, man.
I’m still not ok…. I can’t believe it’s over
Same
What a ride guys. I've been watch your reactions so many years. Actually, you guys help me to learn english when i was growing up.
Thanks for everything, CW.
When Superman said hope had finally returned. I felt that
Been waiting for this reaction all day.
God I’m going to miss this show so much and the reactions
I cannot watch this ending without tearing up every single damn time. I got everything I wanted from this finale, and more. Loved watching this journey with y’all.
I have two boys under 4 and I teared up. Superman lived life and greeted his end. He ran the good race and fought the good fight.
Not only has it been a pleasure watching this show and other dc shows , but it’s been a pleasure watching with you guys! 🤙🏽
This finale is one of the most emotional and touching finales I've ever seen for a TV show. Possibly the most! I even cried again watching this reaction.
I was with you since Arrow S3/ The Flash S1...
I laught with you and cryed too... It Went By So Fast...
End of an era.
i've watched this like 5 times, this ending, and i cry, every single time.
This series ws probably the most consistent out of all the Arrowverse series. And the finale actually landed, unlike most series finales these days.
I've been watching the Arrowverse with you guys for as long as I can remember, truly an end of an era
once again, amazing show. this show was so awesome to turn Bizarro into the most tragic character of the series with him losing his family, his world, dying, tortured and abused by lex, force to be killed repeatedly and beaten by his other world counterpart, no way of him returning back to his own world and accepting the fate of just dying by the sun. it's also poetic that it's Bizarro being finished by the sun but the same thing that kills him is the thing that powers his counterpart.
I was CRYING at this ending so much and it's the only episode I've watched of thid series
Can't believe this show has been my fav Superman show of all. Even my fav Superman.
That was hands down one of the most perfect ending to a series finale I have ever seen. From season 1 to season 4 everything was so perfect. Sad to see it end in 4 seasons cos this show is hands down one of the best I have ever seen.
From the Fortress of Solitude to the Fortress of Family!
I loved your reaction, so sincere, so pure, that's what we hope for, congratulations!
Not ready for the tears I'll shed.
I cried so much i couldn't breath lol. Fantastic series finale 🦸🦸🦸🦸🦸
I binged this show this past 2 weeks not knowing it was ending. While i was frustrated most of the show this episode tore my heart out. I felt so emotionally empty after from how much i fell in love of these characters; I'm going to miss it.
Bitsie is in a show called Grimm. Wish reactions were a thing when that show was out
Am i the only one who spotted the grimm reunion with lois and the actor who played the older john
Even more than that: they’re married
I've already watched the last episode 3 times and cry just as much as the first. They really set the bar high for future adaptations!
Gunn will prove you wrong.
Seeing grown men cry over such a beloved character tells you how amazing this show was. Tyler did an amazing job as Supes and Clark.
i Genuinely feel this show was a love letter to the character and mythos of superman. it wasn't perfect obviously, but the way how things were written in such a short time with much respect...i love it
When Clark is walking around after he dies he's wearing the same shirt he wore when he revealed his secret to the boys
I was worried they wouldn't stick the landing with only ten episodes. Those fears were unfounded.
22:15 heartbreaking and beautiful
Loved this series so much.
Well done
Bro I haven’t even seen a whole episode of this show and I was crying by the end of the reaction
I’ve never cried and been impacted so hard by a shows final message. That hit hard and well . Thank you CW for being part of my childhood and thank you L&C. 4 years , yeah it went by so fast. But I’m glad I was there for the ride. 💯
Superman is the pinnacle, practically the beacon of Hope
What an ending
I just wanna say thank you for sharing this journey with us
Right now Tyler became my favorite Superman.
My favorite Superman thing ever. They understand Superman & Clark.
Does someone want to do explain to me how a CW show has a better and cooler Doomsday than a multi-million dollar movie?
This was one of the best endings of any show/movie that I could remember. This show was so special.
I love Aaron's emotionality.
I never thought that a tv show about Superman would move me so much to tears. That was a beautiful and perfect ending. Well nothing is perfect, but it was close enough for me. Congrats to everyone involved with this episode
The showrunners did an interview after the finale and got asked about the Death of Superman. They said "yes, we planned on doing the Death of Superman, but we love to fake out the viewers, etc. so when we said we were doing that, we meant we're having Superman die permanently in the finale, not his death to Doomsday - though we obviously also planned that as well." Sounds like they were always going to have Superman die for good at the end of show, no matter how many seasons it lasted
any aspiring director should take notes. the pacing, cinematography, plot about this series is just perfect
