Lois’s dad breaking down got me so bad. He’s put up such a tough front over the seasons and seeing something effortlessly cut through that exterior just breaks my heart.
Man I've always wanted that "the thing Superman has absolutely no control over" plot in live action for so long, I guess I wasn't prepared for how hard it would hit though.
I can't believe with EVERYTHING going on this season, they made Lana and Sarah's story carry as much emotional weight as everything else this episode. This season -- nah, this whole show -- is so good!
I'm not one for child abuse, but that was minor, and Sarah deserved that slap. Any other household she probably would've gotten slapped twice, with no apology.

Kyle telling Chrissy about his dad hit me really hard, my dad died the same way but I was 9 so I didn’t understand what alcoholism was or how sick he really was, all of a sudden he just got really sick on the outside too and died within two weeks, if you or anyone you know is struggling and you at least have the ability to communicate with them no matter how difficult a conversation is always easier than loosing them
Lois's dad breaking down got me he is such a good actor the actors on this show are amazing, the writing is never bad and Lana hitting sarah was wow, Lana just needs to listen to her daughter and be cool with Kyle
the thing i like about the recurring nightmare clark has, is that it's a reccuring dream type that everyone has atleast once in their life, a dream of hopelessness, or helplessness, in this case it's helplessness, clark cannot do a thing about lois' cancer, for the second time in his whole life, someone he loves is in danger and he can't save them, the first time was his father with the heart attack, so yeah it's a good way to show the concept of clark dealing with the stress and anxiety of the situation
This was a rollercoaster that slap from Lana to Sara caught me off guard. I wonder if Jonathan & Candice’s current story will lead to more with her father working for Bruno or maybe just a small factor either way can’t wait for more of this show it’s so so good. If anything continues in Gunn’s DC it’s this show as he said as an Elseworlds project this is just consistently incredible tv from Season to season. ❤️💙
Yes it amazing and I really hope this show gets to run its course naturally. I don’t want it to get cancelled bc of the new DCU coming in. I doubt it will get cancelled but you never know.
I wonder if the blood came from Bizarro's body. We don't know what happens to his body after Superman finds him dead, and takes off after Anderson through the Bizarro world portal.
That's a really good thought, though it mightve returned to bizarre world after the reset at the end of the season. Then again the blood could've been taken before that happened
This episode was directed by the main kid from Small Soldiers. The movie where the toys come alive and fight each other. Army dudes & Gorgons, I think that’s what they are called.
Yeah, but from experience that's exactly what would actually happen. People are just weird like that. As stupid as it looks on television, that kinda thing happens. It's hard to see someone you were with, be with someone else, especially if they aren't telling you. BUT, people often have a Blindspot for their own behaviour, and will do lots of things to justify it. I can only imagine being married and having kids exaggerates these feelings. I've been on both sides of the coin, and wasn't really proud of either. But at the end of the day, human is human and you can only grow from being a stupid mother fucker.
So since the last episode we found out my Dad has 2 masses in one of his kidneys. We don't know if it's anything bad yet, but this story line is different one week later.
While Sarah was right to call her mom out on her attitude towards everyone, she took it too far when she said that her bossy attitude is probably why Kyle cheated on her. Sarah did deserve that slap for that remark, but Lana needed to get called out for her attitude. It should be interesting as to what happens, but I will get to that later.
Mainly her attitude with Kyle. Yeah, it was a POS move when he cheated but that doesn't give Lana the excuse to act as if Sarah and Sophie are only HER kids. With the new security system, she's literally locked Kyle out and didn't even tell Kyle out it. What would have happened if Kyle just wanted to see his kids and suddenly alarms started going off? She then tells off Sarah for actually wanting her dad to be in the loop. Plus Lana has just put her kids in more danger because now they can only see their dad if they leave the safety of the house.
@@Connor-ONeill You don't have to allow a father free range into your home after a divorce. Can she move on in peace. He didn't just cheat, he had a long term affair while being an alcoholic.

I feel like Lana was mad about the John Henry Iron aspect because the father could start investigating him. This is problem about keeping Kyle in the dark about Superman & multiple earths
the story is brilliant for superman mythos... I feel like many writers avoiding telling stories where supes have to constantly choose between Lois and the world. The episodes starts replaying the same nightmare... where clark ignores everything else just to save Lois. I feel like that would be the theme of this season, especially how it correlates to bruno mannheim.
The episode lives up to its title, literally! Lois blowing off her treatment so she can investigate Bruno Manheim was hilarious! I loved how her dad Sam, Clark, and Chrissy were so mad at her for it. This episode totally sums up Lois' character, she is so stubborn to try and do the right thing, she doesn't concern herself with trying to help herself! Elizabeth Tulloch did an excellent job. Kyle, after finding out from Sarah that John Henry Irons installed a new security system at Lana's house, trying to ask Lana about everything was another example as to why I have such a hard time with Lana. While she can be sweet sometimes, she needs to understand that Kyle has a right to know about the new security system, because it concerns his daughters. I really hated how Lana was trying to completely cut him off from the family. I really hope more people call out Lana for her hypocrisy! Sarah and her mother lashing out at each other was a shocking scene. Jonathan's truck getting stolen by Candice's dad was a story line that went better than I thought it would. I loved seeing the dynamic between Jonathan, Jordan, and Natalie. I also loved seeing Jordan and Natalie team up again, their team up at the end of the 2nd season was arguably one of the best moments of the season. It should be interesting to see what happens with Jonathan now. Lois and Chrissy finding a warehouse that contained a huge amount of blood in bags was a shocking scene. While I thought the blood was going to end up being either Lex Luthor's blood, or some new character that we haven't heard of, I was shocked when General Lane told Lois and Clark that the blood belonged to Superman. It now makes sense as to how Henry Miller/Atom Smasher got powers! Love the story line this season so far! Kyle and Chrissy bonding at the diner was a great scene. I loved the chemistry between Kyle and Chrissy, and I hope to see more of it. Sarah, after her fight with her mom, arriving at the diner and hugging her dad makes me wonder if she is going to move in with him. I think Sarah knows what she said to her mom, regarding why Kyle cheated on her, was wrong, but it should be very interesting as to what happens between Sarah, Lana, and Kyle now. I really hope Sarah and Lana apologize and reconcile, and the main cause of it is because of Kyle talking to both of them, and getting them to work out their differences. Lana also needs to apologize to Kyle for the way she has been treating him, because all things considered, he has handled the divorce very well. Natalie giving Lois a watch that belonged to her mom, that has a group of names engraved on it was a heart warming scene. Love the bond between the Kent family, and the Irons family. It is moments like this that remind me why this show is so special. I have heard a rumor that Onomatopoeia is actually Dr. Irons, the sister of John Henry Irons on this Earth. And looking at it as a whole, it makes a whole lot of sense. I really hope that they make the reveal significant, and not some no name person. That would be a huge letdown. Candice mentioned to Natalie if she got that boy's number from the party continues to make it sound like this boy is more important than they made him out to be. I really believe that he is related to either Bruno, or Dr. Irons, or maybe even both! We shall see! Love this show so far! Out of a 10 I would give it... 10 out of 10
For getting Superman’s blood it could from the dead bizzaro body or from the blood drawn when Superman become powerless after ally drained him. John Henry said in season 2 that they were able to draw blood.
that scene with lana and sarah was hard to watch. although lana shouldn’t have slapped her, what sarah said about the cheating thing was way too far. lana has been under a ton of pressure for a while now and she really is trying her best, however it still is no excuse. i also feel for sarah tho and everything that she is dealing with. OH GOD IM CONFLICTED 😭
This show is so good at tricking me. This time they tricked me with the trailers. They used all those scenes of people being sad and angry about Lois having cancer but they edit them in a way that seems like Lois is going to get kidnaped or killed or whatever. And then they give us that cancer twist.
No one should ever hit their kids. No one old enough to drive should ever tell a parent that they deserved to get cheated on or that it was their fault. No one was remotely right in that terrible situation.

While I don't believe Sarah deserved to be slapped, she has been acting out quite a bit this season which I'm sure it's due to unresolved feelings about her parents' breakup and divorce. I feel like Lana is taking the brunt of Sarah's negative emotions because Kyle has been working hard to be the good guy while Lana is the parent who is filling the role of primary disciplinarian. Of course Sarah would lash out at her when Kyle is probably much more deserving of her anger.
“This is why Dad cheated on you” is wild to say to a parent I’m a child of divorce and I would’ve never said sum like that no matter how much my mother angered me. So did she deserve that slap, I’m not gonna say yes cuz there are other ways to parent ur kid when they are rebelling like therapy, both parents having a talk with her, etc. than hitting them but I’m not gonna say no cuz she kinda did have it coming disrespecting ur mom is crazy.

My problem with Sarah is she seems to have excuses for cheating. She kissed a girl while with Jonathan and makes an excuse for her dad cheating on her mom. Forgave his alcoholism but how dare mom work to support them. Poor thing has no self awareness right now and I hope her dad is direct about why her mom had an unfortunate moment. She only gets a pass because she is a child.
@@Commander_Shepard. I mean she could've just got permission to go. John's daughter is a positive influence. She was purposely being sneaky. If Lana said no, yeah she is very controlling.

Don't know if Eric remembers this from "Smallville" but there was a storyline in that show where Lex was using platelets from Clark's blood (he didn't know it was Clark's) to resurrect people. That's why I thought it was Clark's blood. Could the blood be from Bizarro?
WHY IS EVERYONE FORGETTING ABOUT THE EPISODE IN SEASEON TWO WHEN ALLY DRAINED SUPERMANS POWERS AND HE BECAME HUMAN? Remember when Superman was taken to the hospital and the doctors DREW HIS BLOOD? For fans of the show, how could anyone forget this?
After reading a couple of theories online, I am really getting the impression that what's happening with Lois is misdirection, and that Superman will end up dying at the end of the season. It would be a huge shock if it happened, and we all kind of thought that's what they were adapting when we thought Doomsday was in season 2. Plus it would mean that John Henry Irons, Natalie, and Jordan would have to step up big time next season.
i can't exactly remember and i am throwing it out there to how they have clark's blood is bizzaro but then again wouldn't bizarro's blood show up slightly reversed/different because he's from the other world.....or just spin it with that or back to the question, clark what got you to give up so much of your DNA lol
I wonder if because if how shows have gone with CW shows think they could be building towards the END of Superman and Lois it feels like we building to her good bye and him becoming Kingdom Come Superman (not logical but a nice thought)
Okay. I'm not sure or it probably has been mentioned as a theory or said flat out what they're trying to do with Miller.....if I'm slow to the party I'm sorry.... But it only clicked while watching episode 3....the experiments, Clark's blood. Killing and reviving the subject....... DOOMSDAY. I would also find it pretty interesting if they have two storylines death of superman and death of Lois Lane
lana will forever be my least favorite character in this show after she told sarah that jordan does not deserve her if he does not forgive her for cheating on him. That one line made me fine with the fact kyle cheated on her and she deserved everything sarah said to her
That is a really stupid reason to hate her. She is a mom and wants the best for her daughter. Her saying Jordan doesn't deserve her is something most parents would say. And even with that, no that doesn't mean she deserved to be cheated on, fool. Having a affair is something huge compared to her saying Jordan doesn't deserve you. Think better next time.
Lana should not have tried to tell Sara how to talk to her dad. I agree with that. I was satisfied with the slap, and have been waiting for it since S1E1, but sure Lana should not have slapped her. The apology felt genuine, but it's too bad Sara didn't get to hear it. Both Sara and Lana were already keyed up. That interaction was gonna be bad no matter what. But let's not rewrite history. Sara is disrespectful ALL THE TIME. Especially to her parents, and since the split, especially to Lana. She meant every word that she said to Lana. She speaks the truth when she's made and doesn't get her way. We've seen it before. What upsets me is that now they're going to focus on some childhood trauma of Lana's to explain the slap, and not focus on the fact that Sara is a disrespectful little shit who needs to be packed away to military school or something. I just hope it's quick and minimal. Sara and Lana needed a time out, and I think they could've had it if Sara would've gone to her room like she was told to do. But she didn't. Because she doesn't feel like she has to listen to her parents when they speak, especially if she disagrees with them. How many of you could've said any of that to your mom? Even if mom was wrong for her approach (and I agree she was), how many of you would've gone to your damned room and tried to bring it up again later? For anyone who wants to argue - don't.
No argument from me lol. I literally clenched my fist and cheered when Lana smacked her. Sarah always acts like an entitled little brat that can "do no wrong". Like she's actually surprised she got grounded and natalie didn't. Natalie didn't lie and Sarah isn't even a little sorry. She has her rare moments but I generally never liked her character especially since she kept screwing Jordan over.
I agree with everything you said on this post. Sarah has been disrespectful to both her parents honestly. Right now she is ok with her dad but she'll disrespect him too. Sarah deserved the slap and while Lana wasn't perfect in the scene, Sarah was worst.
That's The Only Reason Why I'm Watching S&L Is BC Of Him, When I Seen Him On Supergirl I Liked Him As Superman & When They Said They We're Gonna Make A Superman Show On The CW I Wasn't Gonna Watch, But When I Seen & Heard Tyler Hoechlin Was Gonna Be Playing Superman I Was All In To Watch, I Cry Everytime He's On Screen I Love Him So Much, He's The Best & I Don't Want This Show To End Just Yet, I Need Like 2 More Seasons Of This Show Everybody In This Show Is Really Great, Tyler Hoechlin Is Great & Sweet As Superman, No Offense To Other Actors Who Played Superman. I'mma Cry If This Is The Last Season, Still No Word Yet If This Got Renewed For A Fourth Season 🤷🤬😢

@@marcusjordan135 I hope your not a parent. I'm pretty sure no matter how mouthy your kid is being you don't slap them. That's not only assault but obviously child abuse lmao😅
We need like one good Lana centric episode, where she just breaks down or has an amazing monologue at the end. I feel like she's been going through it.
Or someone at the DOD sold Superman out 😑 Remember when they were able to draw his blood after Ally's attack? Clark's DNA no doubt is the most valuable substance on the planet ☝🏽
Bro, why the hell is she apologizing to Sarah she earned that slap. If my goofy ungrateful dumb-ass daughter tried to blame me for my selfish husband cheating on me, especially when I've been nothing but a supportive, loving, loyal wife and mother, I'd pop her too. Also, Lois is kinda hard for me to like she's pretty abrasive. I know she's going through something awful, but when she's mad about something, she takes it out on the people who love her. Like the part when clark said the boys got up early and made breakfast, and she said I didn't ask them to do that, it irked me.
Not saying it's okay to be abusive and put your hands on your child or anyone, but I actually agree here. The way Sarah has been acting over the past seasons... That slap was warranted, but only and rightfully from her Mother. Cheating and lowkey gaslighting Jordan, other things. Actions have consequences at the end of the day and seems like some people who replied to this don't understand that.

This episode was directed by the main kid from Small Soldiers. The movie where the toys come alive and fight each other. Army dudes & Gorgons, I think that’s what they are called.
Kyle worried about what lana was doing and who she's doing it with, meanwhile he's already smashed Buca Di Beppo.😂
Also, he cheated on her.
Exactly!
@@LuxuriaU Just because it's realistic, doesn't mean we shouldn't point out how dumb and irrational he's being.
That shot of the door flying away as the truck broke out of the building is the one bad shot this season so far
Probably didn't wanna damage a very expensive car like that. And building a kit car for one shot would be a waste of time and money
So since the last episode we found out my Dad has 2 masses in one of his kidneys. We don't know if it's anything bad yet, but this story line is different one week later.
I'm sorry to hear that man. Best wishes.
I got to say that Lana sara scene was relatable but without the apology and talking back wasn't expecting that
While Sarah was right to call her mom out on her attitude towards everyone, she took it too far when she said that her bossy attitude is probably why Kyle cheated on her. Sarah did deserve that slap for that remark, but Lana needed to get called out for her attitude. It should be interesting as to what happens, but I will get to that later.
@@thaddeusskywalker5293 what attitude?
@@thaddeusskywalker5293 why the heck are you all talking about child abuse as being deserved??? No wonder it's so many mentally ill kids if it's this normal to want to hit your kids...
Lana of course was the wrong one to be targeted for the divorce but she should not have directed her anger from Kyle to Sarah in the first place creating this argument, Lana didn't even believe her which is awful to feel as a child when parents don't even believe you and suddenly angry at you for nothing you have done, and controlling things you should and shouldn't say to your dad about her own life, especially when you are going through depression, anger about the party and anger and sadness of the divorce of her parents. So I think she just was angry back and said things she didn't mean, Lana should have taken a time out or apologized way before the slap, and should have calmed it down before it got to that point. She's the adult here, and she slapped her... which is child abuse... You should NEVER hit a kid, ever. It just makes kids afraid of you and not understand and be afraid to talk about things.
It's understanble tho for Lana since she probably has trauma from it from her parents, so it's harder to stop the cycle of hitting kids when you were hit yourself and taught hitting is how you controll kids. But it's important for her to go to therapy then and unlearn it, especially with a depressed kid. But yeah it's understanble but it will now take a lot of time for Sarah to forgive and for Sarah to open up about her issues. If Lana had calmed before the slap, they could have talked things out, and actually talked about how the cheating excuse things are bad, which sarah probably will realize after calming down and apologize for. But I think it's due to her wanting to defend what she did, so her very inner self had those excuses and that's why she said that to her mom, but of course she don't really believe that.
When things like that happen with me and my mom, she calms down with either going to another room or apologizing and I go to my room to calm down, and then we talk afterwards, and I apologize cuz after calming down, I know what i said was bad and I didn't even mean it. I was just hurting, so I am able to tell her what my outburst was really about and we talk it out. Both parties were bad in this situation but no one deserved to be slapped, that is jst child abuse...
I really hope you never become a parent or is not a parent because that is just outright child abuse. And I have no idea why you are watching this show if your take from the show is that abuse is okay. Then you can't call yourself a Superman fan, cuz he would never do that, and you shouldn't ever do that too.
One thing Jordan and Jonathan didn’t tell Clark and Lois anything either they just went to the party without telling anybody
the argument between sarah and lana is so similar to how my parents were after they got divorced, it made me so emotional and angry
I feel like Lana was mad about the John Henry Iron aspect because the father could start investigating him. This is problem about keeping Kyle in the dark about Superman & multiple earths
This show has so much heart.
the story is brilliant for superman mythos... I feel like many writers avoiding telling stories where supes have to constantly choose between Lois and the world. The episodes starts replaying the same nightmare... where clark ignores everything else just to save Lois. I feel like that would be the theme of this season, especially how it correlates to bruno mannheim.
Seeing Sam cry broke my heart :(
Loved the reaction guys

Don't know if Eric remembers this from "Smallville" but there was a storyline in that show where Lex was using platelets from Clark's blood (he didn't know it was Clark's) to resurrect people. That's why I thought it was Clark's blood. Could the blood be from Bizarro?

I remember vividly
I think this is the perfect show, everything is perfect as it should be
After reading a couple of theories online, I am really getting the impression that what's happening with Lois is misdirection, and that Superman will end up dying at the end of the season. It would be a huge shock if it happened, and we all kind of thought that's what they were adapting when we thought Doomsday was in season 2.
Plus it would mean that John Henry Irons, Natalie, and Jordan would have to step up big time next season.

maybe they end up giving her clarks blood and that somehow cures her.
I will say it again this is by far my favorite piece of film/tv media of Superman. I love it. This it as my number 1 and Smallville is at number 2
i can't exactly remember and i am throwing it out there to how they have clark's blood is bizzaro but then again wouldn't bizarro's blood show up slightly reversed/different because he's from the other world.....or just spin it with that or back to the question, clark what got you to give up so much of your DNA lol
People need to watch this show. If it didn’t say cw I wouldn’t believe it was a cw show.
They probably got the blood from Bizzaro world Superman
I wonder if because if how shows have gone with CW shows think they could be building towards the END of Superman and Lois it feels like we building to her good bye and him becoming Kingdom Come Superman (not logical but a nice thought)
Episode 4 now pleeeease
Still no episode 4? What is going on?

IT'S ALWAYS THE DUCK
lana will forever be my least favorite character in this show after she told sarah that jordan does not deserve her if he does not forgive her for cheating on him.
Did they stop reacting to Supermand and Lois? Where is 4?
Cut the blood be Jordan's before he got his powers
This show is so good 🥲

Naw bro..She deserved that. No one deserves to get cheated on, that was out of line.
