      I used to have that problem until recently when I shifted my weight more to my heel and kept my torso straighter up- that put focus on glutes. By bending forward more with weight on ball of foot the quads kick in more. It’s taken me 2 years not to hate these and to have it ‘click’.

    I followed Sydney’s lead and went up EVERY round. This was a tough one, especially those split squats.

      Same! Went higher on split squats than I thought I could and even lasted 2 rounds at the higher weight. Would never have done it without this squad motivating me. Congrats to you as well on going up!

    Kind of missed these longer workouts 😅 Amazing workout today ! Initially I wanted to go for a 3 mile run after my workout but I had a feeling that I should wait until tomorrow . I’m going to use this extra time to stretch before I clock into work today. Have a great day everyone ❤

    The post workout talk is always amazing! When we first started doing split squats I was body weight. Last time we did them I could do 15 to 20lbs. Today I was able to do two rounds with 25lbs! ❤🎉

    I needed that talk at the end about pushing to failure. I felt like I coasted toward the end I was just mentally unfocused. Pushing through to the end and I didn’t quit. I’ll be remember that for the next workout. Great job everyone.

    Sydney crushing it with these workouts!! I like the 40 second work periods, feel like I can really start pushing the heavier weights!!

      Same! I enjoy 30 - 40 seconds. Although I think we surprise ourselves that we CAN go longer, for me the form starts to fail sometimes in the longer work periods.

    It took everything I had to lift my legs to 90 degrees for 4 rounds per side, what!!!!!

    I talked myself out of doing this about a dozen times, but then I decided to do it. I cussed the entire time, but I crushed it. Thanks, Sydney!! I'm doing the upper body tomorrow because my legs/glutes are mush for now. :)

    I crushed our workout! I made this work with my previous injuries. I have my follow-up appointment with my podiatrist this afternoon. I will carry the strength from this workout into that appointment.

    I have NEVER been so strong in split squats. Mentally just as much as physically. I normally back them way down because I hate them. Not today. Attacked them because I am healthy and able! Shooooo! That was one to really show what we've been building. Lets Go Y'all!!! You got this!

    I couldn’t get up this morning for the workout due to a really bad nights sleep. Just got done now and man am I sorry I didn’t do this first thing in the morning. Those split squats off the bench damn near killed me. Sweating like a pig and feeling so accomplished!

    That was spicy and pushing to the point to failure in the last rep - this is where change is realized. Feeling stronger and firmer! Liked this longer workout and going up each round.

    Wow. Just WOW. I love straight sets so I loved this workout. I did get frustrated at one part. The "superman" on the bench. I could do it with my lower half but my neck was so strained. I had to revert to Supermans on the floor. I just pushed extra hard at those. Thanks Sydney. You're killing the training in this series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Well I was happy with four rounds of all the different excercises. I love glute bands! Have to say that was am interesting piece of equipment Sydney used for the bridges. Happy Tuesday 😊

    Crushed it omg that was 🔥 for the glutes and legs! Pls bring back modifications ,i struggled with the split squats after my left leg was hurt at work and its still healing properly. Loved this though!

    After doing 2 rounds of 25s for split squats on one leg, going back down to 15 seemed so easy, so I was thinking exactly what Sydney had said later in the workout: learning moment! So far surprising myself of my strength! I'm working on glute bridges on the bench instead of the floor so I didn't get to failure in that exercise, but I did on all the others! 🔥🍑💪
