my personal favorite is when tall guy is having a conversation with Cho and having this emotional revelation when in truth Cho was just snoring.

I love how Cho is the only one who's learned to never doubts Jane's plans, no matter how insane the plan is... "we need 6 pounds of C4, a thong, and an ice cream machine" and Cho's like "Ok, I'll see what I can do."

@@joesr31 It is stated numerous times that Jane has closed every case he's participated in. By Virgil, Agent Darcy, Lisbon, and Abbot. I'm not positive about Abbot though because I am only on season 5, but I have watched numerous scenes with him on here. His record is the only reason he's allowed to approach and solve cases the way he does. If he didn't close every case, he mosy certainly would have been fired back when he bugged Boscoe's office.
Sorry to say, the real star of the show is Kimball Cho!

Cho definetly has the funniest joke by how lame (for lack of a better word) they actually are. But Jane and Lisbon are the stars of this show, without a doubt
the one part where they need to pretend to be truckers on the radio and cho fucking rattles off a whole sack of trucker jargon in southern twang... fucking hilarious
that's coming a long way from like season one when jane was trying to find out who can do the best irish accent and cho wouldn't even participate :D

No one having a clue who the CBI are is the best running joke. NCIS had a few similar moments.

Very good comparison. The agencies that do the most work and get the most results rarely get the real credit.. or they are maligned in the Media or by other shows/franchises. Look how NBC not so subtly bashes *_NCIS_* for being so popular with thin accusations in more than a few episodes of the *_Law And Order_* franchise!!
In India CBI stands for central bureau of investigation. (FBI counterpart in India)

@@repeekyraidcero just finished the whole series about a week a go. Midway through the 6th, to the end of their last season wasn't the same to me. After they killed off red John, it just became bland.🤷♂️still love the show, and agree that it is a feel good show.

I can never seem to get over that scene where Jane and Lisbon act bonkers to make the suspect think she's high as a kite 😂 it's an especially rare gem to see Lisbon look so silly.

When Cho picks up a couple of girls at a bar as part of a plan to catch a killer, the rest of the team is watching him through cameras and Jane says "this is the Cho power".

To me, *_The Mentalist_* is one of the top five most underappreciated crime dramas of all time. The last season did lack a few elements, but when you look back at the evolution of the plot there had to be a change heading to the end.

Yeah it's such a good series. I watched it and now I can't watch any other. I've just been rewatching episodes and edits and compilations
A favorite for sure, except for the forced love story - no chemistry except sibling. The reveal of Big John was also a letdown. Here he was almost superhuman in his abilities for so many seasons, and was supposed to have magical charm and charisma and then be such a dud in person. How would this guy have had obedient followers?

I absolutely loved this show! Although I didn't watch it while it was on the air. I binged watched it after it about a year after it was canceled. It was so good. Love Simon Baker, and Cho is one of my favorites.

Jane is such an instigator! Our cable company just started the series again & I'm so 👌 enjoying it. Originally was not much of a fan of Cho,but re-watching,I can appreciate his dry sense of humor. What a great team they were.

Sometimes the Australian accent shines through a line and I (Australian) can only laugh because I basically think "oh hey that's what I sound like saying words" and have to go back.
That aside, this show is genuinely hilarious and it feels so natural to do so.
I enjoy seeing scenes of the mentalist as I was so disappointed when it ended I liked all the actors thanks for showing it again

I remember watching this when it was on air, The last season felt forced, but I think because it was going to be cancelled they had to come up with a ending abruptly.

I had no idea. I read interviews where the producers said that they always planned on ending it the way they did, I never thought it was going to be cancelled.

They always focus about how resourcefull, womanizer and rich he is, but not in how smart he is. And in this kind of lists they never mention Tony Stark that's why I decided including him, because it would be a really interesting conversation among all of them.
Michael Scofield is a genius from the series Prison Break. They focus more in the drama with his brother and to escape the prison, than focusing on his skills, but we can see some scenes where thew give us a hint at it and his thinking process.
