I have alot of respect for the writers in this show. There are alot of episodes in The Mentalist. They never bored me. I am watching the last episode of season 4 and the show is still entertaining and engaging. Cudos to the casting people. They can make a show really blossom and endure which has been the case with the actors in The Mentalist.

My most favorite series of all time. Despite having 150+ episodes, I never wanted this to end. Love rewatching every episode and has a great replay value. The casting is too perfect. Their presence, performance, the writing and narration is too awesome that even simple cases or scenes get elevated to a different level. This series is at par or even above the likes of money heists, GoTs, breaking bads etc. And Patrick Jane is perhaps the most well crafted lead character of all time.
The writers of this show were good plus the characters were awesome!!! Simon baker and robin’s team were so lovable!! I binge watched from season 1-7 this quarantine time.🤗Hope they’ll continue with season 8

Started watching the show on Amazon prime this summer. What a delightful show, has a real old school feel to it. Like star trek or something on the BBC in the 70s.
I watched this when it aired but I didn't finish it back then. I decided to watch it again a few weeks ago and I think I'm on my 4th rewatch in those 3 weeks. Patrick Jane...wow...wow...wow. I love his character. And Simon Baker...not just handsome but a great, great actor. I'm loving every minute of this series. This is how a series should be developed.
I just finished watching the 7th season. It is the best series I have ever watched. Im so sad it ended that way, I hope they do at least another season, I would like to now how patrick and teresa will be doing with a child

I get bored with a lot of television show's. The Mentalist had me gripped from the start to the end. What a journey. Bruno Heller drawing me in with emotion. Tears and laughter. I never got who Red John was and i was shocked when he was exposed. One of my favorite episodes was is when Jane drank Bella Dona and he thought he saw his daughter. So moving. Beside .Moving on from The Mentalist Bruno Heller created Gotham. That was amazing. To be honest i was never a Batman fan but i saw the trailer when The Mentalist was coming to a end and i thought i would give it a watch and again brilliant.
I love all the characters. While watching the series it feels like I know them personally and it breaks my heart when I reached at the last season......want to see them again

Has Bruno done any other popular series or movie? Very good work, I must say in Mentalist. Many old world ideas such as love, family, compassion, caring for friends, hard charging while having a soft core.. brought out very well in the show right thru.
first time seeing this and excited to see that someone involved in the show was a big fan of derren brown because all along the way there were some tricks on people that jane did that reminded me of DB and i always wondered but now i know for sure

The reason The Mentalist is so much better than the usual formulaic crime crap on TV is because of the majority of non Americans involved in all capacities and at all levels. Thank you for sharing this. It’s a shame Cho couldn’t make it.

Lie to me is not even close to the same thing. His character just is a lie detector, not a mentalist. Psych is the closest and is also a great show, but it is from a comedic angle.
