I decided to get a Rolex after wanting one since I was a kid in the 80's. I am basically just wearing part of my retirement on my wrist and enjoying it right now instead of waiting until after I finish my career. Best decision I've made in years.
I just bought the rose gold GMT Master 2. I’m a 32 year old fund manager. Honesty, I don’t really care about public perception, it’s a watch that I bought simply because it’s a stunning piece of art. I’ve never seen anyone wearing this watch unlike every other color pattern gmt master. This watch is magisterial, resembles class and requires confidence with an expectation of sophistication and mannerisms when you speak. This watch resembles my personality very much. In all honesty, I almost never show it off when I wear this watch, I like wearing black hoodies and dressing casually while my sleeves are covering it, perhaps other people get a glimpse of it’s beauty here and there. it’s also a great watch to compliment with business attire. Personally speaking, I bought this watch to remind my self of how far I’ve come and to keep striving for greatness. You almost feel a sense of responsibility to maintain high standards when you’re wearing this timeless piece. If I do decide to show it off wearing a short sleeve, I’m on my A game socially. Always Humble, Grounded and very much in tune with my soul.
Ive owned the full everose gmt for over 5 years. I am an anonymous author and investor. I wore it daily for periods of time but now wear my 36m explorer more. The full everose GMT is my favorite watch in the world. Powerful, mysterious, romantic, rose gold, black brown gmt function. A beautiful choice for someone who wants a shiny gold watch that is paradoxically understated and classy
It’s funny you mentioned towards the end that this watch is for warmer climates or the beach. I purchased this watch when I was in Hawaii on my honeymoon and it was the only sports model on display. I absolutely love this watch and it is quite heavy on the wrist, but I enjoy the look of it in general. It’s beautiful piece and even better investment.
Two tone rootbeer for me too is a much better looking version than the full gold...that contrast between steel and gold makes it pop up...the weight also makes two tone the normally preferable one...that said, full gold is the show off watch for sure
Just picked my 126711CHNR (two-tone) up from the AD last week. And yes, the two-tone keeps it real over the full gold. I don’t want to bling so hard people worry about who I am.

I was gifted a vintage Rootbeer GMT by my wife and it’s a gorgeous piece. It’s a later edition GMT master II with full box and papers and a recent Rolex service.

Nice to see you guys releasing more content again. I prefer the 2 tone Rootbeer, more practical with steel on the bracelet, plus the contrast against the rose cold on the centre links makes it pop more than the full rose gold version (IMO). But they are all amazing pieces assuming you can get one!!

I’m a CPA working as a financial reporting manager at a Fortune 500 company so it’s not really out of place in that corporate environment. Now if I were a first or second year associate in public accounting, then some questions would be raised ha. Great video guys!
I bought the two tone rose gold. Its a stunner, no regrets, a beautiful timepiece. As an occupation I'm an airline Pilot and the GMT function is very useful for my work. Well it was made for Pilots of PAN AM those days.. I prefer the two tone over full gold. I wear it between my Breitling Navitimer for work.
This rootbeer is the only Rolex where I genuinely believe a two-tone version is better than the Solid Gold version. Solid gold doesnt sparkle like the 2 tone. The steel makes the rose gold really look amazing.
i had my eye on rolex rootbeer two tone but after browsing rubberb blue kevlar strap I think Ive changed my mind, the blue on the batman is more playful than the others. and cheaper too

Rolexes are an addition. I own a Sea Dweller, and Daytona Ceramic white dial, and I’m considering purchasing a GMT in the near future.....I just can’t decide which I like better, Batman, or Pepsi.
I’ve actually finally achieved my life goal of purchasing my first Rolex! I’m now the owner of a Rolex Batman on the Oyster Bracelet! Been a life long dream and at 21 years old I’ve finally achieved it!

I totally disagree with your thought of Rolex should not have two identical looking models differing only in the metal, ie SS and WG. But then I buy for myself and don’t care if others think my watch is SS. I know what it is and feel it, as the WG version is twice the weight of SS. Only a show off would care that others don’t know his watch is not SS but WG. WG is traditionally for the more humble.

Full Rose gold GMT is beautiful, perfect. That has to be a grail watch for many.

I agree. You need the contrast of the steel to let the bezel pop. In the full rose gold, the colors of the bezel get lost a bit

Add a no date sub or the explorer 39mm. and you are done for a decade until you get a day date :)

My wife is only 1/2 Colombian… so I couldn’t get the full rose gold version. I settled for the 2 tone GMT CHNR. 😂
