- Today I wanted to show you our Rolex GMT Master II collection. Only 2 watches I know, but there is a third one coming shortly. So what is the perfect GMT Master trio? Of course vintage would be good but i'm buying modern at the moment. The addition of the Rolex Pepsi will do just fine... although there is one vintage GMT I like if the Pepsi falls through. With that being said I was one of the very lucky ones to have purchased this timepiece new from an AD in 2018. On that note you have an amazing collection to say the least. i have the batgirl and a pepsi on order on a Oyster as they should be as per their 1950s heritage..and last week put the rootbeer on order at my ad too, love it. Im not ken on dress watches this is perfect combo of sports and a dress feel with the subtle colours.
The root beer GMT Master II is so nice. I can’t make up my mind weather to get that or the two tone white dial Daytona. I’ll have first choice of the two at the AD in June. The Pepsi will make a great trio but the ultimate trio would be adding one of the white gold GMTs. Nice video Michael 👍🏼
The rose gold does not seem to suit me. I’m trying to decide if I should buy a new steel gold Sub with black face which AD has or wait for an older steel Daytona ... decisions , decisions 😃
In my honest opinion even though I want a GMT rootbeer so bad if I had another choice with a realistic cost it would be a Stainless Steel Daytona white dial ceramic bezel. I’ve got a white dial Daytona that I got in 2007 and won’t sell it. There are so many nice watches out there but always buy what you can afford and like. Don’t buy just to flip. All in my opinion.

I have both steel versions - the Batman dresses up a better with its colors - Pepsi is great as well. I don’t think I could let either one go.
Just got my BLRO this week and it's amazing. First time my wife has stated "it's a beautiful watch." Currently own the black ceramic sub with date, Hulk, and BLRO.

@@MichaelBath Another AD just called me recently to pick up the blue and black gmt on the jubilee bracelet. Completely surprised. I wonder if they are increasing their production.
Literally, one month has past and in that time we have all just witnessed what Rolex did with the new releases. Now that I Own both the batman and pepsi I'm looking forward to receiving an Oyster bracelet. Are you planning on purchasing an Oyster bracelet as well when they become available?

Since, both of my watches are the new serial the Rolex Service Center confirmed that a bracelet could be ordered in about six months. I look forward to purchasing it as an option to break from the jubilee bracelet.

Why do so many folk need to show off their watches? I have twelve and worn Rolex every day for 48 years.
Because most people like seeing it. I watch many other watch channels on RUclips. I guess if you don’t want to see it don’t watch it.
lol so trying to show off by telling us you have 8..no one cares either, most of us here love seeing watches and most of us own a few Rolex models in our collection, theres nothing bad about videos...dont watch if you dont like.
Root beer was the most beautiful rolex ever produced until SPRITE was released. .🙂
I doubt they will discontinue the BLNR and BLRO because they just came out and are HOT HOT HOT. Rolex might change the CHNR to jubilee and keep the all gold in Oyster.

Or, instead of collecting Rolex, you could do what I did in 1995 after what used to be just expensive watches, started to be insanely expensive watches. Sold everything for just under $5000 and bought the S&P 500. Value today, $35,000. If I was crazy and wanted to buy them all back I could easily do so for less than $20,000 and have over $15,000 left over. I buy watches to wear; clearly Rolex is not an investment. And sorry, I'm not walking around with $7000 on my wrist. And there are plenty of beautiful watches if I just want something to look at. Most cost under $250. Sacrilege I know. I used to love and respect what Rolex was. Not anymore.
After you get the 🔵🔴 Consider a Rolex perpetual gmt movement.
Sky dweller blue dial. I know theres still no history compare to gmts, but I believe its gna be a future classic.... enjoy your watches!

The perfect trilogy would be the Batman on the Oyster, Root Beer and Pepsi. I just don't care for the Batman on Jubilee. I had the chance to get one at my AD and I passed it to get a Hulk. Thinking about trading it for a Batman on the Oyster. Cheers!
Yep the jubilee seems to be like that. I actually wasn’t a fan when it was launched but after trying it on I was sold. It’s nice to have a point of difference from my SD43. Cheers
2018 root beer
The blnr is silent, powerful and mysterious. It commands attention just by being itself whereas the chnr is just another two tone screaming for attention in my opinion.
The CHNR is my wife's watch and looks great on her. It definitely does nit suit me. In saying that i still like the two-tone steel/ gold Sub with black dial. Cheers
@@MichaelBath The CHNR is a beautiful watch no doubt about it and im sure it looks great on your wife but i just dont know what the hype behind that watch is all about. I live in singapore and almost every tom dick and harry here and even the uncle and auntie’s at the market is wearing a two tone rolex watch. Maybe ive seen far too many tt watch thats why i dont find it as special as the blnr. Ive tried it before at one of the ad here and i just find it to be boring and too subtle. But the two tone sub u mention is a different beast. Its bold and proud just like how a two tone gold watch that cost over 20k should be. Cheers.

Why do you repeat baseless rumours: you are aware that only Rolex know. You should want to keep the watch because you really like it: and not perpetuate the investment value. This is the wrong reason for buying a watch, which worsens the shortage that annoys the true collector.
And I’m guessing you are classing yourself as a true investor? I bought all watches since I like them not for resale. I am not spreading any ‘baseless’ rumors but hey thanks for watching and commenting! Cheers Michael

There is NOTHING Rootbeer about the current Rootbeer. It’s a two-toned “Rolosor” with a simple brown strip on the bezel. C’mon man! My GF has more brown present on her landing strip. Until Rolex incorporates more Rootbeer back into the dial, this watch is simply flat bubbleless rootbeer. Delivering zero tasty froth on the top. Stick with your women; I’m sure she will taste better than this nonsense on the wrist!
