Speaking from experience, fitting a Tillix & needle valve on a Mitsubishi Triton 2.5 Diesel can cause super high egt's & overheating problems.
But, if your mind is made up and you are going to do this Boost mod then save yourself some grief & get a GFB 3009 D- Boost V2 instead.
They are a Quality all in one unit & if you shop around you can buy them cheaper than a Tillix valve & Needle valve kit. MY friend has one & it leaves the Tillix valve for dead in every area.
They don't use the problematic plunger & spring (Tillix) or the problematic ball bearing & spring (Dawes valves). They instead use two quality needle valves and one is for boost and the other is the bleed valve for the turbo ramp up speed. So there is no need for the separate & almost useless tiny needle valve that Tillix supply in their kit. The Tillix needle valve is almost impossible to adjust if you have medium or large fingers and because of it's dumb same size locking ring as the adjuster screw design it is almost impossible to lock in place once you find the sweet spot. It is the worst needle valve I have ever used.

Also, my tillix valve leaked vacuum big time from the threads on the vacuum pump side ( the small end of the tillix valve). They will all eventually do it because of the way they are made. Having the adjustments made by turning a loose threaded tube inside a larger threaded tube can never seal properly, it's always going to leak sooner or later. Good idea but bad design

    Hola my friend
I need to work your motor brains bit.
Le me recap the mods on my Patrol
    Tillix kit
    EGR block
    Swirl mod
    K&N air filter
    Rebuild turbo
    Catalytic converter removed
    New injectors
    Recent service fuel pump.
    Welded intercooler
Replaced all vacuum hoses with Tillix brand hose
    New OEM MAF sensor
    Just had the head redone
    Max boost 15
    Boost at 100 kph 10
    I still have limp!
Ponder this for a bit and see if you can help me out.
    Thanks

Hey mate, 15psi seems a bit low. My CRD is set to 18psi (safe level for untuned). Cruising at highway speeds it can sit anywhere between 12 to 15psi, depending on engine load. I was getting limp a few months ago when I didn’t drop back to 4th on a particularly big hill. So if your boost is hitting 15psi too quickly (low revs) you will likely get limp. Try winding your needle valve out a little. Otherwise check what the code is, it may be a different problem altogether.
