That top deserves an Oscar for best supporting….
I'm 63, and while Gal Gadot makes a decent WW, Lynda Carter will ALWAYS be WW to me.
I'm only 48, and (in her prime) Lynda Carter was every bit the Wonder Woman that Gal Gadot was. They just didn't have the technology we do today.
I was looking forward to Lynda playing Asteria in the next movie, but I heard that there's no plans for a third movie.
I thought Lynda was great in Sky High (2005) as the principal.
Gal Gadot was wayyyyy better. You just have old person lenses, you're unable to see bad acting back then.
Gal Gadot can barely speak English @@drumpfisidiot5021
Gal is Wonderful.
But Lynda is all Woman.
Gal Gadot was wayyyyyyyy better
DAMMIT GRAVITY, YOU HAD ONE JOB TO DO!
🤣🤣
I'm sure everybody would love to see the bloopers and outtakes from making the scene.
Watched this episode last night and had to find this scene again for obvious reasons. Absolutely amazing that nothing slipped out, and quite annoying too.
Bet they had to make a bunch of retakes.😎
🤣
If this TV series was French we would see Wonder Woman topless!
Good to see someone is thinking of quality control and ethics.
@@patrickdickey1083 I hear that there was a problem popping out. If that were true, I would have given a couple hundred grand to sit in on this filming.
Ok I'm not Biologist here but Lynda Carter was one incredibly gorgeous Woman(and still is).
Priceless comment
I understood that reference!
@@praetorian1877 yes sir. Everyone did I hope
@@alexpaic2984 Yes, I hope so as well! Haha
Fell in love with her when this show came out. Would still say sorry to my wife if the opportunity came up just to go out with her today! Just as sexy!
There were 3 shows my father would stay up for: Wonder Woman, Charlie's Angels and Dukes Of Hazzard. Now I know why.
These were all good, wholesome, father and son tv shows... 🤓🤣
Lynda carter does not represent that , but wonder woman did
Stayed up ALL night I bet 😉.
Double-stick tape is really something, and Lynda had some great core strength!!
The biggest villain is the double sided tape
She has to be the most beautiful woman ever on television series to this day.
That cameraman is still a legend to this day!
I’ve never been so disappointed in gravity.
I love how her magic lasso turns into a brown rope, lol. I think this is one of the better episodes of the show. Lynda looked fabulous throughout it. One of the best looking women ever, all natural and no tattoos.
It has the ability to transform, like Optimus...... 🤣🤣
To be honest, the best Wonder Woman episodes were all in Season One when it took place in the 1940s against Nazis... the other seasons in the 1970s were just... well... too 70s.
maybe the greatest footage ever filmed
Wardrobe department deserve some major respect!
I remember watching this as a young boy and having the FIRM realization that I loved women.
I am still of the opinion that Lynda Carter was the most beautiful woman ever on TV.
100% agree and always will be
I also liked jacquelyn Smith, out of Charlies Angels 😁👍
Barbara Eden too!
@@davidmacphee8348 Wow, you are right... who today can compare? I sure there are some, but I can't think of them..lol Like to have a lamp like Christmas Story with, either Lynda's legs or Barbara's now that would be a keeper..lol
@@geraldharper330 Barbara looked fantastic in every outfit but those minis were certainly erotic.
Many say the greatest moment in television history was the live Apollo 11 moon landing. But this scene has it beat! In her prime, Lynda was the hottest woman on the planet.
They say the moon landing was fake. But there's nothing fake about Lynda! 😍
Linda is still gorgeous.
and the moon would agree....
Lynda is still my favorite Wonder Woman. No contest.
She makes Gal Gadot look like a 10 year old boy.
Lmao. Too true
Can you just imagine the outtakes from these scenes? :O
Always watched this series as a teenager. Loved Linda Carter. I remember when Bobby Jo and The Outlaw came out at the theaters and hearing that Linda was topless in that movie. It was a gift from the gods!
Met Lynda Altman (Carter) while working at a Radio Shack in Potomac, MD in 2001. She came in and my manager told me I could help Wonder Woman but to be professional. Sold her about 5 RC cars for Christmas gifts for the kids in her extended family. I am 6'1 and remember how freakin' tall she is still. She was very nice but never did bring back the autographed photo she promised! I remember hanging out in her BMW loading up all the Christmas gifts and her promising me she would be back. It's fine...therapy is helping, lol.
Good story! Well, as long as you finally got over it and all that therapy helped.😉
Cool story.

Linda Carter was (and still is) one of the most beautiful woman ever!
Agree, with Erin Gray ( Buck Rogers in the 25th Century ) a close second.
The good news is that she is back. She had a cameo appearance in Wonder Woman 1984 and it is speculated that she will have a much more significant role in Wonder Woman 3 alongside Gal Gadot.
@@norfolkhall YOU BET. It's the black hair and beautiful blue eyes....l'm tellin ya.
well I certainly appreciate "the gravity of this situation" . well done
Much as I love Gal Gadot, there will never be another Wonder Woman quite like Lynda Carter's.
There's never a wardrobe malfunction when you need one.
I remember watching Wonder Woman as a teenage boy. It's sure did give me wrist ache!
ROFL🤣
Lynda was the fantasy and a symbol for young men who became men looking at those huge round , they turned the boys on, the acting was not the best, her physique was the important thing, those kinds of scenes convinced the viewer to see the series for two wonderful reasons, she knew what the production was doing, they were unique moments seeing this beautiful woman, she was a very good wonder woman because of her physique, but nothing more, she was a thousand times better than the skinny Gal Gadot, Lynda was better and Mexican, more beautiful, knowing that other attributes such as her thighs and legs, gave a lot of rating and if what they wanted most was to have her with a neckline and with her legs in the air and if they could in tights or a bikini
amazing knockers
i've said it before and i'll say it again, the emmy for the best supporting actor in a series goes to Linda's bustier.
Gravity; when she was hanging upside down you were given just one Job!
I now see that it was the superior acting and riveting dialogue that made this show so popular.
Boys who watched this eventually became men of culture.
I'm sure there are more important things to watch than this, but I can't think of them now.
Lord, but Ms. Carter was absolutely everything a 1970’s boy could hope for in a Wonder Woman show. She was as equally perfectly cast as Christopher Reeve was.
Personally I think Christopher Reeve was poorly cast as WW.
@@torresilk4277 Very funny lol.
@@torresilk4277 Sure, audiences were taken aback, but at least they found him a great gig as the Supermang. Which inevitably failed but Superman was basically just as good, right?
@@torresilk4277 Well, I can’t really argue with that.
Absolutely amazing …how they didn’t pop out
I used to watch Wonder Woman as a teenager, and it was very cheesy, but Lynda Carter was an absolutely stunning lady.
That corset was holding on for dear life!
OMG!
I miss watching this show.
Lynda Carter was so over the top AMAZING!!
Older men of culture we meet again
My god shes beautiful.
There have to be some great bloopers on the cutting room floor that I'd love to see!
Lynda Carter's beauty is truly wonderful! 😊
I'm so glad they ran past that button that lowered that red set of stairs to the safe and instead had to lower Wonder Woman on a rope and upside down.
They weren't stoopid. hehe
Far more athletic than she was credited for!
I wonder how many takes it took to film this scene? I bet the editors had a heck of a day editing out the nip slips :D Lynda Carter is a beautiful lady always and forever.
The tone of the series was good and consistent, tongue in cheek enough to be fun yet serious enough to feel invested in the stories (like Lois and Clark later) Wonder Woman's powers were mostly consistent, she had fairly consistent limitations which forced her to use her brain as well as her strength, and she didn't become a demi goddess whenever the plot demanded
She was and always will be Wonder Woman to me , she’s beautiful. And how they kept those beautiful puppies from falling out is a miracle 😃
Lynda Carter is glamorous even hanging upside down.
Thats one very good wardrobe department
I used to have a poster of her on my wall back in the 70's. Loved her.
One of the original "I watch it for the plot" shows
"Don't be sorry, just pull." Oh, I am, Lynda. I am
Thanks for the Mammories 😉
The male writers were testing the skills of the wardrobe department.
… and double-faced duct tape apparently.
When I was a kid, my father had absolutely no interest in comics. He never missed an episode of WW though, for some reason.
He was probably locked onto that Camel-toe action at the start of the scene. As was any red-blooded American male.
Lynda Carter looked too good in that fire-ass season 2 costume. I'm surprised they allowed this on network television.
Lynda Carter is absolutely gorgeous.
The real wonder of Wonder Woman is how her top kept "the girls" from popping out during those upside down acrobatic moves. Imagine if there had been a blooper reel.
Lynda Carter will forever remain my favourite Wonder Woman (as fond as I am of Gal Gadot in the role). :)
Even today she is still stunning as hell!! 😍😍
In real life both of those big beauties would have popped out, it's called gravity
🤤🤤🤤
Gaffers Tape! 😂
it's called a Wonder Bra.
Even today, she is one of the most gorgeous women alive! I dont care how old she is!
Despite there is a stunt double for the wide shot, this scene is actually very physically demanding and Linda is taking it like a boss. I like Gal but Linda is the best WW ever.
I still think those blue eyes are the best.
Gal Godot is fine but Linda Carter is my Wonder Woman.
…and not a tattoo in sight!
Linda Carter is such a beautiful woman!
Thats some super strong "tape" holding that top in place!
how on earth those things managed to stay in place?
I think the had fun filming this. The director knew what he was doing.😂
Telling on myself, was born in1966. Isis and WW helped define what beautiful and strong woman was.
She's a stunner. Even as a 10-year old I could see that.
her rack should have won an Emmy award
Now I know why I watched every episode when I was young and can't remember a single story
She’s just as hot in Wonder Woman 84. This lady never ages!
How they do not just pop out is pure hollywood magic. Damn you Hollywood. Damn you!
It´s WONDER Woman ... what else would you expect? They stay where the have to be ... even after 300 years ... thats one WONDER"full" cup... or two...
I wonder how many retakes were done due to wardrobe malfunctions?
that would be a great blooper show....
I remember this scene. It is very impressive and highlighted her beauty. Lynda Carter herself is performing the stunt and I enjoy her beautiful performance. Perhaps it is because she is upside down, but her bust line looks even more beautiful than usual. It is thanks to her training that she can turn herself upward in this state.
I am very happy to see this scene again.
Thank you for uploading it.
You're welcome!😃
I love how everyone in this comment section was waiting with bated breath for them lovelies to pop out.
Men of Culture understand that some things are worth waiting for. 😄
so close yet so far
Maybe the greatest TV moment of all time... changed my life! X
Me too,, this scene actually gave me my first,, well, my first erotic response. I was scared to death and had no idea what was happening at the time.
Her outfit must have its own superpowers to contain her like that!
Sadly, that outfit didn’t do her justice
her wardrobe malfunctions must of been a epic moment
Yes, they must have been.
During that era...there was no better actor to play the role of Wonder Woman. Lynda Carter. Stunning, intelligent, beauty beyond the heavens above. 💖💫
How did those puppies not pop out!?
Wonder Bra.
@@longshot7601😂
@@longshot7601 You win the internet for today!
They did in the first eighteen takes
Who doesn't love this version of Wonder Woman? For a moment there, I was hoping gravity would help us not have to wonder.
Im sure somebody has the outtakes where those puppies pop out. Can't wait for ww bloopers to come oit.
The reason I knew I was not gay at 5 years old.
You were not
If I was a girl... I would have been.
When I was ten back in the seventies I thought this show was a bunch of crap, however just three years later at 13 I would watch it with religious further, it's funny how your perspective can change so much in such a short amount of time,
Your perspective isn't the only thing that changed, lol.
Hormones are one hell of a drug! xD
Linda Carter was and still is a beauty!
They must have come out during that!
Any bloopers ………….. literally!
That black hair and those beautiful blue eyes!! Along with everything else. Lynda Carter was, and still is, stunning to see. Those two traits, in any woman, still get my attention...... quickly.
I’m just glad Woderwoman didn’t think to flip that switch to lower that bridge!
Whoever designed the strength of her brassier should have made the Francis Scott Key Bridge pylons. They knew how to hold things up.
A couple of time warps.
Must have been a Wonderbra...
Lynda Carter was so beautiful, she still is but she was on fire back then.
Many boys discovered this scene...and well you know..And the villian is John Colicos ..he played Boltar on Battlestar Galactica..was a scene stealer and a really good actor back then..
Kor, as he called these puppies "glorious"!
probably the most jaw dropping scene in the entire series. :P
One of the most beautiful women of my lifetime
Wonder Woman's power pales in comparison to the power her clothes have.
As a teenage boy going through puberty...my arms got a workout to her.
Ahhhh. The beautiful Ms. Carter. Enough said.
Double-sided tape: The real hero of this scene.
You mean villain
