Thank you I’ve been trying to get rid of that underscore line for years lol.
You are welcome! Glad to help. That underscore is so annoying!!
Thanks so much for this! How do I get mono drum files from midi vst's? I don't want stereo files for mono drums like kicks, snares ect..
You are welcome! I would change the track in Logic to mono with the button next to the input before exporting. If you are using a multi output drum vst you can also choose the option that includes mono aux's for your kicks and snares. Hope that helps!

Thanks!
Just curious: The gain staging that is done before exporting the tracks (set between -6 and -12dB), doesn't that undo all the balancing of instruments that you did while composing/writing the song? Just to serve as a reference e.g if I want the drums to be more subtle than the rest or any other part to be emphasized.
Great question. Yes it would. This is something you would want to discuss with your mix engineer. In the case that you had very specific balances in mind for your tracks, they may want you to leave those intact when exporting your multitracks. Or they may just want to know that info and recreate it themselves during the mixing process. Hope that helps!
@@sangstersounds Well, I'm doing everything myself from A to Z, so I'm mainly curious what the different levels should be at during the various stages from composing, to mixing and to mastering the final output. All my tracks are usually originating as MIDI, where I do processing and EQ directly while composing.
Any idea why my tracks are exporting directly to my trash when I do this? I'm selecting a folder on my desktop for the export location, but it's going to my trash folder every time lol.
Wow that is very strange. I have never experienced that before. My two thoughts would be maybe you don’t have permission set up correctly to allow Logic to access your hard drive in system preferences or maybe your hard drive is out of space. Hope that helps!
@@sangstersounds actually did find out it is indeed the hard drive space! Appreciate the response
@@somedude1901 Awesome! Glad you figured it out!
Why am i not able to share my Master copy MP3 after loading it into itunes?
How are you attempting to share it? You should be able to drag and drop it like a normal file if using dropbox/google drive or similar.
@@sangstersounds I did try simply pulling it or dragging out of iTunes to the desktop…but it would not at all.. not sure what’s happening…it’s an MP3 file
