ruclips.net/video/mNBB5A553Yw/видео.html ThQ for your recommendations! You talk about ssd drives, and here in nz we are paying more then 6x the price of the best 1TB Samsung ssd recommended for their MacBook Air. I wasted an hour with Apple trying to get to their rational sadly for this with no success. So my 1st question is, can you load and run apps from an external ssd? I bit the bullet yesterday and ordered the M1 Air with 16 unified RAM and 1TB of storage after hearing in the stores the speakers of all the M2s compared to the 13in M1 finding it better than all of them in sound and a few hundred dollars cheaper. I am regretting it now because I thought it would have the magnetic charging dongle and I now see that the M3 is supposedly coming out in October...should I cancel my order and wait for the M3? ThQ in advance!!!
I recently bought a mac and I've been watching many videos on how to use a macbook and be more productive. You were the first one to pop up and I couldn't stop myself from watching all your videos They're all so well detailed and I can tell you put a lot of effort into your videos. Keep up the good work, love your videos!
WOW! I have been a Mac guy since 1995 and this will bring my productivity to a whole new level. The lack of opening and closing windows all day will definitely be an asset. I never cared much for Spotlight, so I never really used it. This however will be my daily go to. So glad I stumbled upon your video "Top 10 BEST Mac Apps for Productivity". Snagged a couple more that will be useful from here as well. Thanks Chris!
Okay, Alfred is my new favourite thing. As someone with ADHD whose mind is in ten different places at once, being able to access everything I need to from the same place without having to manually jump between apps will up my productivity by a mile. If I eventually get the PowerPack, workflows will be my number one tool.
I appreciate the ability to search all files and the internet. I take copious notes and sometimes my notes reflect a website that I visited. I find it helpful that Alfred will find my note, document, and a website.
My favorite of Alfred is learning Alfred exists. This video is the 1st Time I’ve heard of Alfred. I’ve been a Mac owner (not a real user) since 2002. Where Have I been? That said, if it weren’t for my senior moment there would be no moments, 😅
A little late to the vid but your videos are so easy to watch and gives me all the details in every video you post. This is my first time getting Alfred and I love how you can practically do anything on the app.
I thoroughly enjoyed using the Alfred app, and your detailed explanation motivated me to explore and utilize all of its features. Among the various functionalities, the clipboard history and internal file search stood out as my absolute favorites.
Thanks for sharing this. Tried Alfred before, but felt overwhelmed when setting it up. After watching this, I feel like that I need to try it again and go through it slowly this time.
I’m with you - opening the app and seeing the convoluted settings can be daunting! It steered me away from the app several times over the years. Hopefully this video helped provide some clarity and insight into some useable features and workflows for you to get more use out of the app 👍🏼
saw your Mac apps video today and then came to your channel .. Am so happy to see that people are able to still make things work with YT. You started 4 months ago, have 5 videos, yet were able to make some 27K subscribers. Amazing job. BTW, of all the apps that you mentioned, the only 1 I installed in the ALFRED .. This butler is too good :-) .. All the best for you and your channel buddy
you are precise and well-collected. I have watched so many tech videos, but yours is different. I usually don't sub. channel after watching just a video, but man... you gained a new subbie here today!
Watched all of your videos and you definitely made it so much easier for me to learn and use Macbook Pro! I got the Macbook Pro 16" M2 and with your tech tips and app tips and tricks it has helped me so much also missed your new video so glad you're back here hoping to see even more in future have a good day! :)
Im new to mac and I just discovered alfred. This is such a helpful video. For me i love the fact that you can integrate bitwarden using workflows, even though i do not have the powerpack, i really want it just for that.
Even better tip- if you have a newer Mac with one of the dedicated spotlight search keys, install Karabiner-Elements, unbind that key, and then use F4 (what that key would otherwise do) to launch Afred.
Just started using Alfred because of your video. Still need to learn a lot but I really like web searching feature. I set up some of my most used sites and it is much faster than using browser bookmarks.
The clipboard feature has got to be my favorite thing Alfred has to offer. I find myself needing to copy and paste a lot and I hate having to go back and fourth to copy one by one.
@@Christomshack I was able to figure most of it out. Lot of shortcuts. Also, Max has their own shortcuts too (I realized that yesterday). Lots of learning. If you can make a video about rectangle, it’ll be great.
Thanks for the video. Definitely think you should do a video on Workflows and an update on Alfred 5.5 would be useful. Have a question on the clipboard manager. Does it allow you to store your clips into folders? For instance I may be researching a topic and find text, images, sites, etc. that are relevant. Instead of just dropping all these into a global clipboard it would be really helpful if you could setup folders and drop clips as they occur into specific folders. This would make it so much easier to easily access all relevant clips by just selecting which folder you want and then see all associated clips.
love your help, it realy helped me understand alfred the only thing is that i dont seem to find the toggle desktop icons, if anyone has the same issue or maby if a update changed some stuff plys tell me

Clipboard history, I need this! Thanks Chris!
The clipboard feature has got to be my favorite thing Alfred has to offer. I find myself needing to copy and paste a lot and I hate having to go back and fourth to copy one by one.
Totally agree. Paired with the ability to save copied items from several devices too, and it’s a winning feature in my book.
So glad you’re back 🎉🎉

File search is the beez knees! Game changer!

I love your videos. This is what we needed all along
Love to hear that. Thanks for taking the time to comment 🤝🏼
This is a very helpful video. Do you have a video for "rectangle"?
Happy to hear! No dedicated video on rectangle, but I’d be happy to make one
@@Christomshack I was able to figure most of it out. Lot of shortcuts. Also, Max has their own shortcuts too (I realized that yesterday). Lots of learning.

Clipboard history is game changer, especially being able to use multiple devices.
Great video. The "Clipboard history" from Alfred it's amazing. Thank you!
Totally agree! Cheers
I enjoy most the Connectivity to your device UI in a new way and ways
hey Chris, just love your videos, there's a long journey ahead of you.
my favorite feature is the launching off apps and file search. The extra pack does seem interesting.
The powerpack license unlocks a TON of extremely useful features. Thanks for the comment!
Own custom workflows sound very interesting!
They are! Built-in features aside, custom workflows unlock the true potential of what’s possible with alfred 🙌🏼
That clipboard feature is so nice! My favorite!
Ok the temporary email, the hide desktop icon and yak are definitely features I’d use a lot!
The search feature of Alfred is my favorite
Honestly the most useful thing about it is the search feature that gives me so many more options than the stock command space bar. 😊
Great video. Very informative. I did not know about the 1Password integration. Game changer!
It’s an extremely useful one!
I didnt know about the clipboard history and its cross devices functionality. Definitely very useful and my favorite!
I love your app recommendations , they all are very useful .
Glad you like them!
This is absolutely life-changing. Thank you so so much!!
nteresting video. I've not done a lot with Alfred past using it as an app launcerh...
Test the other features and I guarantee you will see the real power of the app 🤝
Great video Chris. I really like Alfred's customization.
Thanks Tom! Me too.
The password manager integration is *chef's kiss*
🤌🏼🙌🏼
The clipboard history would be INCREDIBLY helpful to me, I am wrapping up my bachelors and need to collect a lot of links for references and such.
It’s a game changer!
I really enjoyed your breakdown. And my favourite Alfred feature is actually the Pomodoro timer 😊
Thanks. I got this approved through work. Now I want the pro for my personal use on my own mac. Hope I win!
Love the custom workflows you can create along with the shortcuts you can create! Great Video. Keep up the excellent work!
Thanks. Considered Alfred for a while now so maybe a second look. I already have Bit Defender and Copy'Em so some duplication but anyway ...
Funny to say but still I can understand your voice at 2.5x speed ( secret using extension 😎) your audio editing is superb.
Binge watching all your vids to prep for my new MacBook coming soon!
Great video! Clipboard history is the feature for me.
Good choice - I use it all the time.
i am new with alfred - thanks for your great tips !!
Thanks for watching!
Great info! Just discovered your channel. Didnt know about this App.
Welcome to the dark side of productivity! Alfred will be a game changer for you, I’m sure 🤝🏼
my favourite feature is using the keyboard instead any device. For example to launch my documentation page
Woah. Smart and good looking?!? I’ll download Alfred rn!
Thanks for the video. Definitely think you should do a video on Workflows and an update on Alfred 5.5 would be useful.

I think I will like the file search feature best...
Great video, will download and setup 🙂 Thanks Chris
Thanks, enjoy Alfred!
Didn`t know alfred was so good! Thks!
So good!
i dont have a mac but being able to use Alfred to search whatever on the Internet has to be its best feature
Totally agree! Which computer are you using?
