@@koush2009 I'm not very familiar with the concept of workflows. I think it’s something related to Alfred, but I never used it enough to 'love it.' I’ll Google it and get back to you. :) In the meantime, I highly recommend checking out Raycast and what it can do. They have some great videos on RUclips. I believe one of the reasons people stick with Alfred is due to their previous financial commitment-like if they've paid for a lifetime subscription. It makes switching to something else, even if it seems better and free, much harder. You know what I mean? But in the end, it all comes down to personal preference.
Some of the apps are expensive especially if you live in Turkey like me but I downloaded 3 free apps that you recommend and I LOVE THEM! Thanks a lot for your recommendation and also the clear explaining for the apps. You are amazing, keep up the awesome work!

As much as I enjoy finally seeing Ice getting the attention it deserves (over things like bartender) you really undersold its capabilities, from a second menubar for macbooks with notches to changing the appearance of the bar, there are so many more features ! Great vid btw :)
Great list; I'll give the Sparkle a try. I would add VDP (Virtual Display Pro) to the list, as it is just awesome, especially for ultra wide monitors & screen sharing.
From all these the only ones that i consider useful/essential are clop, cleanshot, bartender (or it seems you use ice as a replacement), for player i use vlc. For handmirror you dont need an app you can just open photo booth in your mac, it does the same thing. Also a great addition to your list would be aldente
Thanks for this a lot of new apps which are super interesting. Curious to understand how you format your reminders to have those columns - Today, Tomorrow etc. ?
Hey, thanks for sharing Brandon. I've been wanting a quick colour picker. Pica is perfect. Also, Yoink started playing up, so I'll give drop over a go.
LookAway is absolutely phenomenal and I've been looking for something like this! I've had eye surgery and fight constant eye strain and dehydration when using a screen at laptop distances (which is a lot of my work-I tend not to have a full desk setup available). Thank you for surfacing this great application!
Thanks for the great review of the macOS apps! I was wondering if you could share more information about the safety and privacy of these apps. Are these apps safe to install in terms of security (no malware or malicious activity)? How do these apps handle user data? Do they collect any personal information, and if so, how is it stored and used? Are there any privacy policies or terms of service from the developers that I should be aware of before using these apps? Looking forward to your thoughts on this!
Great list, getting many of these to try or buy. I hope all work with the next MacOS update... thanks! Do more of these! I use uBar daily.... lame, I know.... Windows will not leave me fully! LOL...
Thanks for the Pika mention. I have been needing something like this since I'm not venturing into web development in Wordpress and not all builders are created equal, and offer the CORE functionality of making a website accessible. I did find that it does not always give the correct color codes once I open the inspector of a web page and compare. Wonder why this is...
These apps seem cool. If only I had a MacBook 😭. Anyways glad to see your making some more unique videos this week. Keep it up Brandon and can’t wait for the Apple event tomorrow!!!
would love to hear why u prefer alfred over raycast, to me its not even comparable. Alfred doesn't feel polished/native, and is gate keeping a lot of features behind a paywall that are just free on raycast. I only tried out alfred for a little, so maybe im missing something.
Hey Brandon I have a question on how I can make a shortcut that automatically mutes my iPhone when I’m in school so the sound doesn’t play. I have the iPhone SE 2022 so i still have a physical mute switch. How would I make a shortcut that mutes the sound when I’m at a specific location or connected to a specific WiFi
Still waiting for your video: Top 15/20 useful and everyday use iPhone shortcuts/automation😅. Hopefully you’ll make a video on this topic once ios 18 is released.
How to get that kind of a to do list with today tomorrow this week reminders all on one page? 0:37. They are not auto sorted right in the columns according to the reminder date
I would like to talk about the iPados cause I feel like we are missing one big feature no one seems to be talking... Which is, remember back in the day windows; where we had a login page at the beginning where we had a guest login page. Like we have in Netflix now and even in Disney and etc. it would be nice to have such on the iPad where the owner is the admin and you can have others log in like in the PlayStation console. And with inclusion of a Dex similar apple feature.
What's your most used Mac app? 🤔
VN Video Editor
@@CoreCraftedTech why VN instead of iMovie or FCP?
