This entire game feels like they forgot to make the thing and had to finish it on the school bus
Not even the good school bus, the bus that breaks down 3 times a semester, always produces at least 2 metric tons of pollution each day, has no ventilation whatsoever, creaky asf, oh yeah and the bus driver has dementia and barely remembers their own name much less their route.
I'm pretty sure thats exactly what happened. After they were caught out earlier this year they've had to slap this shite together to avoid legal questions.

The repeating yell sound effect for the male zombies is such a big pet peeve for me. I should never be able to tell that a sound is being recycled
It's alright to recognize a sound being reused, but only if you're a veteran of a game. 24 minute video and I've only heard one zombie yell, while games like dying light had dozens that blend in well and also change volume depending on proximity to the zombie, instead of audio in this game which is just assblasted into your eardrums even if you're 5 blocks away from the action

The funny thing about the city map is that it is a $200 marketplace map from Unreal Engine. So the developers didn't even make the map themselves.

There's "released too early" and then there is "we dont even know what finished looks like for our game." This falls in to a category well beyond either option.
Very obvious that there's a ton of padding at the start. By the time you actually start playing the game and realize it's a scam it's probably too late to refund it. That seems like an intentional move by the devs.

Huh, that anime, uh, Shangrila Frontier had a trash game pretty similar in (flawed) concept, just that it is a hack-and-slash medieval fantasy, with loot rate so low, you are better off looting shops or killing the looters.

Redfall is easily better than this. I actually beat redfall twice. (Only because it's on gamepass) I wouldn't pay for it specifically. TDB feels like another game that shoukd either be on game pass or just free to play in general
A 1 /10 game does make a 4 /10 game look good. However, don't fall for the trap of giving the 4/10 a higher rating because of the worse game, Redfall got the backlash it got for a good reason, and it deserved every bit of it

My God I literally just heard about this maybe 10 minutes ago... FOUR DAYS??? FOUR GODDAMN DAYS AND ITS ALREADY CANNED??? We have mere weeks left in 2023 and yet the gaming industry still somehow managed to set a goddamn record in less than a week. This is unprecedented lmao.
Edit: Dear Lord Im nearly done watching this and I just wanna know... where... where did we go wrong in humanity that this gets made? I see ripoff after ripoff after ripoff even of games i havent even played. Namely they tried SO hard to copy TLOU. Look at the "title card". The... opening to when you leave the physician, it looks just like the dance floor... or at least it tried to.... from TLOU2, from the lights down to what I assume was meant to be the atmosphere. After traveling for 56 minutes and you find a zombie, they movie exactly like Runners do, even going so far as to have their "aggression". But the biggest crime is they tried SO hard, to make that one armored "zombie" sound like a Bloater. And for fucks sake dont even get me started on those off brand "stores". They didnt even try to redesign the store logos for crying out fucking loud. Smh... we have failed..
