Why do we need such laws? A gamer who demands such legislation is literally admitting that he's a moron who can't even use one twist of his brain and needs something to fall back on. The developer Fntastic for the uninitiated is a Russian company that was originally headquartered in Yakutsk. This was then changed to Singapore. It's a good way to avoid western sanctions against Russian businesses. I miss the days where you'd buy a game and you got exactly what you were expecting-- a finished product. Granted I know that technology has come very far between then and now, and it definitely does open the possibility for more bugs and whatnot, but a lot of those things get patched out. That means they could've been fixed before release, especially so for the players who experience specific bugs en masse. Indies and classics > MANY of these new generation games coming out
Of course there's your "I MiSS tHe DaYs" comment. Dear God shut up with these comments. This is coming from someone who used to develop games for a living in the 2000s. Can’t wait for the “what went wrong” videos for this game
Don't worry guys the price pares with the quality of the game
He should of done that vid for this *game* instead of this
everything
Do the devs even know what went wrong with their game?
Someone call up Matt McMuscles
I really like how the game takes place in a post apocalyptic city where humanity has fallen, but every street light, billboard, and building lights are turned on 🙂
it has fallen just the day before
@@PREDATEURLT uhhhh have you played the shit game? One character clearly stated "it only took a few weeks for everything to fall"
Edit: I don't think either of us are wrong. I think the developers are stupid and didn't even get their game lore right lmao
The game takes places The Day Before everyone found this game is scam
Not to mention the immense power needed to fuel the army of player tracking sound alarms

This year ended up being a good year for kevduit. 4 horrendous games he experienced this year King Kong, Gollum, walking dead and now this one. What a great year for his channel lol

@@ruchiraedirisinghe9423 you mean Redflop? Who would? 😂
@@ruchiraedirisinghe9423 Redfall was a masterpiece, compared to 2023's four games of the apocalypse. Lol
In such a packed year, releasing an extraction shooter spin on the Gollum-like formula was a truly brave move.
I'm 99% sure they used AI for the voice actors
Is there a credits section for the actors?
@leviathanr53 It isn't just that though. The Bartender sounded like a real person, but the Doctor didn't. He says "your speech organs seem fine" in a way that isn't natural. Even the cadence is actually a rip-off of Doc Mitchell from Fallout New Vegas. Listen to how he says "our leader Chris". It is like a text-to-speech.

Love the epic music everytime you fail to connect to server
And people expected something good from these devs.
All the games they've made are abandoned by them within a month or two.
God damn this game makes Redfall look like a freaking masterpiece.
Let's not get carried away now 😂 Redfall is still an absolute dumpster fire as well
@demonboygaming3024 Yes, but this game is a lot worst.
Redfall is easily better than this. I actually beat redfall twice. (Only because it's on gamepass) I wouldn't pay for it specifically. TDB feels like another game that shoukd either be on game pass or just free to play in general
A 1 /10 game does make a 4 /10 game look good. However, don't fall for the trap of giving the 4/10 a higher rating because of the worse game, Redfall got the backlash it got for a good reason, and it deserved every bit of it
@Sapphire_Jack Well when a company is forced to make a game that isn't their specialty it usually doesn't end well. Yeah redfall wasn't great but people acting like it's top 10 worst games of all time is just stupid and shows how young some people are.
Fun Fact: Sometimes you can actually refund games with a little over 2 hours of play time if you make up an excuse about performance
Update for those who dont know Fntastic is shutting down after 4 days since The Day Before launched
When I saw that Skyrim Wallpaper I was like "12 years later we have this"
This has to be the nicest post apocalypse iv ever seen
Barely and zombies in a city
Electricity everywhere
Food isint an issue
The music restarting every time it fails to connect to a server is SO funny lmao
But like why are people fighting each other. They literally leave the same place and it’s like. “Now I have to kill you bub”
They're also doing missions to gather resources for the same place...
There is no reasonable in game explanation for PvP to be a thing at all.
I assume they got all the equips, loots, and cash that dead had from the run. Grab, sell, grab, sell, until you can buy a better gun, I suppose? Huh, that anime, uh, Shangrila Frontier had a trash game pretty similar in (flawed) concept, just that it is a hack-and-slash medieval fantasy, with loot rate so low, you are better off looting shops or killing the looters.
@@grosstoad1788 even the Trash game in Shangri-la Frontier had a better concept.
@@grosstoad1788That trash game tho actually had a unintended and irl reason for PVP. Drops rates were so low you had to bank on the chance to kill the richest player, or a player with resources. (Also I love that anime ur based) ironically it is a cool concept but it’s the only thing u can do in that game.
In this game there’s quite literally zero reason to kill other than pure malice 😭.
Respect to my man kev as he waited one year for the game to download🔥🔥🔥🔥
The best part of this game is the discount Doc Mitchell saying mouth organ I love that
They are lucky ai came out with some magic stuff. The voice actors are AI, script writing is AI, tons of art is AI. There is literally nothing indicating that people actually voice acted in this game lol.
Edit: Probably helped with coding too, threw some things at chat gpt lol

So update they are shutting down the studio. They will keep servers open, but no longer than a year and that is because of their contract.
I don’t have to play this game because it’s no longer on Steam
I honestly feel sorry for all the people who couldn't refund the game.
I don't. It was nothing but red flags telling us not to buy it. We get these games because ppl like them support this
If it makes you feel any better a lot of them are blatantly lying in the game's defence.
@@iHaveTheDocuments I wish they were able to refund just so the studio didn't get a single dime for this sorry excuse of a game.
There's circumstances where you can request a refund beyond the 2 hr gameplay/2 week ownage limit. Usually for extreme cases of fraud, which I believe this game would definitely fall under.
they don't deserve to refund shit should be a life lesson to not fall for the very obvious scam@@seifeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

They ran with all that money maked it looks good asf and Gottem easy money… people should do this more so that maybe people will learn there lesson on what’s a scam and what’s not
Man has sacrificed his bday for us, respect.
Remember when there were False Advertising laws and companies would actually get hammered for this sort of shit?
Good times.
They quite literally are advertising their extraction shooter as an open world MMO... now the massively part is not something you can guarantee but the open world part, that seems like it could be fought in court. Depends on semantics. But the overall quality of this game is absolutely one for a class-action lawsuit.
Why do we need such laws? A gamer who demands such legislation is literally admitting that he's a moron who can't even use one twist of his brain and needs something to fall back on.
The problem with this game is not that it's a " scam" but that it's just another confirmation of how miserable and dumb a gamer is.
“How are you feeling…”
“Sad that I paid for this.” 😂😂😂😂
Had me rolling
Devs - We started working on this *THE DAY BEFORE* release
Oh my God I'm laughing so hard that tears are coming out. How have I never heard of you before. Well, time to binge watch all your shit.
The developer Fntastic for the uninitiated is a Russian company that was originally headquartered in Yakutsk. This was then changed to Singapore. It's a good way to avoid western sanctions against Russian businesses. It's actually quite a clever idea to use a publisher as a money laundering vehicle, because you can use fake sales to keep the auditors happy and then use shell companies and other special financial instruments to send the money to Russia. The side effect of course is a few legitimate unhappy actual gamers.
there is Russian game developers who made games better than this trash
Even the last Gollum-like of the year had plenty of zombies, wow.
2023 is the year the gollum-like was invented. A true milestone in history of gaming. On par with the awesome Atari Jaguar

The strange thing is where is the game that is in the ad and how did the game change from this to this? How did this happen? Perhaps the developers are blind. It is impossible. Where do they publish the game when it contains all these problems without any problems? There is something strange.
It's experiences like this that made me abandon everything related to online multiplayer...
At this point, i'm a solo player completely, with the last online experience i had being my final stint with SWTOR in early 2020! Online multiplayer can have a lot of highs, that are bigger than any single player game, but at least for me, they often also plummet to the lowest low...
To be blessed with so many "terrific" games this year is just outstanding.

Conspiracy theory: They forgot to make it like the demo, so they rushed the story and actually used AI to write the script to save time and cut costs. Hence the "speech organ" and other bits.
Actual proof: they made a fake game, everyone called out thier bullshit and then they made a game to say “fuck you no we did”
And to add to it, they have a LONG fucking history of this
There's been a constant in gaming lately, and it's games that either release in a horrendous state and get fixed later, or games that release in a horrendous state and stay that way.
The "new generation" games have classics like the modern Spiderman games, Red Dead Redemption 2, Elden Ring, Hi-Fi-Rush, Boulders Gate 3, Sonic Frontiers, modern God Of War, modern Monster Hunter games, modern Doom games etc.
Anyone who doesn't have nostalgia stuck up their asses knows that there's always been broken and buggy games releasing. The only difference is that the Internet wasn't a thing during this time so no one really remembers them or have popular RUclipsrs to get their opinions from.
It's like gamers like you think your some oppressed minority lmao.
Big Rigs would like a word with you.
And most of NES era games :U
The downfall of creativity is that it requires funding, which ultimately and ironically destroys creativity.
Fromsoft at least keeps doing things the good way. Elden Ring and Armored Core came out complete, though I think ER needed some patches for PC performance.
I can forgive a shitty game becoming pretty good...sometimes and only sometimes its worth it.
around 10:41 when there was gunshot, it could also have been nothing cause gunshot are program in the game as background noise too
Im still wating for the prequel "The Day Before The Day Before" and the sequel "The Day After the Day Before"
