Wow talk about a blast from the past. I didn’t play the multiplayer much(it was pretty mediocre) but I did finish the entire story. I actually enjoyed it. The protagonist is awesome. I liked how you could pick any weapon you wanted and how you could free roam some areas. I liked how you could put the cuffs on criminals in stealth mode. Plus that hurricane level was awesome. The only thing I really disliked was the ending. It was very underwhelming.

Such a good game, its a shame because if it was released 2 years earlier or 2 years later. it would be considered one of the best FPS shooters. So many titles from 2015-2016 that are actually solid games got trashed. Then they changed the games because of it and we got trash!! for example Assassins creed Unity tried going back to the OG style, people complained so they never went back to that style (Unity to me was nostalgic with me really enjoying AC2).. leading to the downfall of the series imo. Same with battlefield hardline, they did something different staying true to the original blueprint of squads etc. It gets trashed... then the studios think they have to do something bigger and better everytime. now we have 2042 that just looks like a large scale call of duty

A true level 3 expert looking for respect moment 15:53 Honestly this game was good, good storyline, good concept, respectable characters and good cutscene like you literally felt like watching a netflix episode for real, too bad this game was ignored due to the low effort (alot of bugs and lag) and the game being based alot on stealth like 95% of the time your gonna find yourself not shooting a single time tho stealth was fun and changed the concept of shooting a bit, remembering how fun it was freezing and cuffing people
I had so much fun with the beta of this game but I never ended up buying it because at that time it was hard to convince my dad to let me buy a game. Maybe a big part of that fun was the radio, I was so surprised when I heard Death Grips, Run the Jewels and KRS One.
"Welcome to episode 3 of Kevduit learns trigger discipline" Just as I was about to post that you fire like you have infinite ammo and everyone is an enemy... That two way radio in the game made the geek in me laugh: 120.13Hz... That's down in the ELF range used to communicate with submarines, should have been 120.13Mhz.
I loved that game. The downtown map with the heist gamemode was my favorite especially when the loot extraction point was on top of the skyscraper. I also enjoyed setting up ziplines from the roof of one building to the interior of another building which was a control point in the conquest gamemode. Hotwire was fucking amazing.
Bro hardline was fun not gonna lie, my favorite thing was that you can get the 1887 shotgun cut the barrel and shorten the stock and every time you shoot you are like Arnold Schwarzenegger from terminator 2 when he had his shotgun and every time he shoots he flips it and you could do the same in this game. Cool Easter egg
Battlefield Hardline is a certified hood classic with lots of good maps and neat weapons, skins, and camos. The campaign wasn’t anything special story-wise, but it is still a lot of fun.
Its crazy how when my brothers and i got this game 2 years ago we loved it and played it 24/7 even thought we had fortnite, cod and many other popular games

The game actually was pretty good. It's a different interaction . Police and robbers don't usually explode the whole city into piris
This game made me want battlefield open world police missions or something like watchdogs 1 but 1st person
i honestly still play this game. i was also one of the 10 people still supporting medal of honor until its demise. im either the problem or the solution. great video kev. as always.
I remember playing this with my uncle when i was 13 or so and i loved it. I do remember the gunplay being on par with 2020 MW reboot
17:40 As an Iowan, I can confirm I regularly forget Iowa exists.
A true level 3 expert looking for respect moment 15:53
Honestly this game was good, good storyline, good concept, respectable characters and good cutscene like you literally felt like watching a netflix episode for real, too bad this game was ignored due to the low effort (alot of bugs and lag) and the game being based alot on stealth like 95% of the time your gonna find yourself not shooting a single time tho stealth was fun and changed the concept of shooting a bit, remembering how fun it was freezing and cuffing people
I remember this.
I also remember the npcs that 'help' you in the campaign take 20 hits with a gun to kill an enemy.
Still not as bad as the BF4 NPCs. Nothing like trying to get that Medal/Achievement about Teammates killing enemies. Literally impossible.
I had so much fun with the beta of this game but I never ended up buying it because at that time it was hard to convince my dad to let me buy a game. Maybe a big part of that fun was the radio, I was so surprised when I heard Death Grips, Run the Jewels and KRS One.
"Welcome to episode 3 of Kevduit learns trigger discipline"
Just as I was about to post that you fire like you have infinite ammo and everyone is an enemy...
Hotwire was fucking amazing.
absolutely loved playing hardline multiplayer, some of the funniest and craziest moments from that game......miss it.
2:16 of his voice squeaking when saying “stop it’s the police “ had me weak that’s yo big boy voice 😂😂
i remember when this came out and i got it. it kinda confused me because it was cops and robbers kinda thing but it was still fun to play!
I don’t even know how you possibly fake an adolescent voice crack as well as you did at 2:13 :’)
20:49 The tagging was in depth, It had a unique tag for the bag of potato chips and said it had cordite in them (gunpowder).
Crazy I have roughly 4000hrs play time in bfh across 3 platforms and so many memories. So many I wish I could relive again
This game feels like somebody watched Miami Vice and decided to make a video game adaptation.
i gasped when kev used his big boy voice. amazing, truly bamboozled.
2:13 made me like the video
2:17 GOATED MOMENT!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Had so much fun on this game with my brothers. Few things more satisfying than turning someone to a fine red mist w only a golden motorcycle
Hardline will always have a special place in my heart. The heist game mode was some of the most fun I’ve had in a multiplayer game. I even managed to unlock the golden claymore, and if I remember right made decent progress towards ruby.
it's only cause I recently went back to platinum Infamous Second Son but damn. Stoddard, your partner, is Delsin's brother Reggie making it the 2nd time i've ever seen his face
I love how this games campaign functions exactly the same as every cop game I’ve ever seen. You have 10 gadgets and the only one you ever actually use is “gun”
0:37 You’re sure about that now? I gotta say Skull island rise of Kong would be that one.
