I am loving my Watch 4 Classic. It replaced my Active 2. The look and feel of is premium for me. I wasn't excited about the bezel but I'm really digging it. I sometimes just play with it for the hell of it. I charge my watch every night so the battery life doesn't bother me. I don't think I will be doing anymore Active Watches. It's the stainless steal for me.
HONEST BAND REVIEW: from a person with a Healthcare job perspective, I got the black 46 classic watch, from all the people saying the normal band isn't good I bought the stainless steel bands shown here in this video because I thought I was not thing to like the original band. Welp, I actually LOVE this original band because it's super comfortable and it fits perfectly. It's not just comfort, it make the watch sit perfectly on the wrist so the censors work more accurately and its easy to clean which I desenfect everyday when I get home. I also sleep with the watch and no complaints there, just the actual watch is a little heavy, but the band is pretty dam good that I have not switched to those stainless steel bands.
Con #1 - Personal preference, Con #2 - Not a biggy, Apple is not compatible with Android, Con #3 - Google assistant is coming, Con #4 - Not a big factor, I like the lighter watch

I've got a filler size wrist though so that maybe a factor. I also believe they coated these bands with something for sweat cause it stays alot less grimy than previous bands.

The bands are actually designed really clever. They just have 2 „pressure points“ on the wrist instead of around it. This leads to the little gap on the sides but makes them more comfortable. You don‘t sweat that much unter these bands. They are designed o put the watch-sensors snug onto the skin without applying real pressure. Other bands you have to tighten the strap during workout to prevent the watch from moving and to get good contact for pulse-measurement. Not this watchstrap. It feels light and loose but the watch is going nowhere. I had my concerns first, but when I took a closer look and realised that, I love them now and don‘t want an other design anymore!
The bands are horrible. They make the watch look massive, even the 42mm one, and are definitely not more comfortable than any 3rd party strap that I own. I don't have to 'tighten' any other of my straps during workout, especially the loop-style straps.
It isn‘t actually that big! Even on my small 15,8cm wrist the 46mm classic doesn‘t look too big at all! Also I read that people get more batterylife out of the bigger models.

I agree with how Google assistant is the ultimate assistant especially over Bixby but if you knew what Bixby was actually made for and the type of people it was tailored to most people wouldn't hate it as much anymore as it was really made for a particular type of people and those particular type of people happened to be those with disabilities and certain types of disability. When used correctly you never once have to touch your phone or you are smart watch at all not even once Bixby can actually do everything from lock your phone to unlock your phone to open any app you choose to write messages and send them to write emails and send them to actually allow you to click yes and no buttons for example without actually even touching your screen when you fully understand and know how to utilize Bixby it's good for what it's good for as an assistant say like Google for asking questions and different things yes it is absolutely inferior but when it comes to what an actual true assistant is and what an assistant can do Bixby still owns that Realm. Just saying my man you know I always keep it real with you from one CJ to another
My issue with the classic is that your constanly having to touch the watch cause the clocks don't stay at their brightest but a couple of seconds even though I have it set to a minute to stay on. I've mentioned this to Samsung on the Samsung Members. The watch needs to stay lit longer before dimming. I do have the always on display to always on.
I get a day and a half out of my original galaxy watch. I b use it to track my workputs and my sleep so it is really good, I wake up the next day with at least 35% left. I really want to get the classic 4 watch but I am not sure how it will perform. I never have AOD it annoys me lol. Thanks for the review 😊
Why you choose to rock the 46 for regular use instead of 42? I have the same wrist size and having the dilemma to pick the right size. Any advice? Battery is not an issue for me
Trouble with buying third party 20mm bands is they make the 46mm classic look like a giant sun dial strapped to your wrist. The tapered stock bands at least minimize that. The stock gray color looks horrible though. Looks like it came out of the medical supply cabinet at the doctor's office.

Great points CJ! The only thing I disagree with you about is the watch bands. I absolutely love the OEM Samsung straps on my 46mm silver. I got the gray silicone strap that came with it and the white hybrid leather. I find them to be super comfortable, but this is just my opinion. 🤷♀️
I found thr silicone bands that came with the s2 and the s3 frontier, I would develop a rash, and it would cause my psoriasis to flare up big time under the watch band. switched to a stainless steel band and it stopped

Intensity automatically. 7. Just connected to wifi. 8. Remove it before sleep. In this case do you think i will get three days?
My Galaxy Watch 4 Classic must have had a problem, it doesn't fit any 20mm bracelet of these models in the video, I tested two and it's very tight, the 20mm bracelet is correct, but the new watch part is very tight unlike the previous versions

I just ordered a gal classic 4, 46mm. I've tried the gal 3, and a couple others, but the 3 (standard) requires all functions making it to be a smartwatch to be disabled. Still was at 53% after 5 hours. That is a MAD FAIL. I should've done better research. Thought I did. I'm hoping the 46mm classic can get me through the waking hour, to docking hour. I have an s3 Frontier watch, with a metal band like you have on the 46mm 4 classic. basically gunna do thr same. I sleep in mine all the time. the battery finally stopped holding charge, looking to upgrade watches, while getting a replacement battery to have 2 watches. I get between 3-4-5 days on a fully charged s3 frontier. the frontier is stated to have a 380 mAh battery, the watch 4 classic is stated to have a 361mAh, is the battery life really that much worse with 19 less mAh?

Okay Finally FedEx and Samsung get my Silver Classic to me. 2 weeks after the fact. But now i see. Samsung has closed the gap with Apple Watch. It is bigger, better, the BMI seems close to Acurate, I'm Feeling this Watch ⌚ compared to the other generations after the Frontier.

Hello, I am planning to change from Huawei watch GT 2 sport to Galaxy watch 4 classic 46mm. I am very afraid from the battery time. Huawei could take 8 days with full usage and 14 days with light usage. My question would be, if I will turn everything off on galaxy watch 4 classic 46mm, just only the night sleep mode on and maybe measure the blood pressure at every 10 minutes ( so bluetooth OFF, Wifi OFF, ECG OFF, Always on display OFF, hands up turn on mode OFF. ) What will be the real usage time without charging? 1 or 2 or 3 days maybe? Anybody has experience on that?
Samsung stock watch bands this year are trash and they really seem like a after thought. Other that that and the lack of high speed charging the hardware is outstanding. No Google assistant out the box is a fail but they hurry up we can be happy.
Why don't they have sapphire Crystal display? Best thing about Steel Apple watch & why I choose it over aluminium is I don't need think of a screen protector. Surprised these watches are still glass displays, poor.
Gboard is bug fffk up on wear OS3 I terms of the voice element especially. Constantly stuck on Intializing.. Tried all the reset, switch off Bluetooth turn back on again and reinstalling via both phone and watch options to push to watch.. Still doesn't want to play nice! I switch my watch off overnight to save battery as I don't wear it whilst sleeping
Hey CJ, Have you tested the watch 4 on LTE usage? I have seen many USERS complaining of over-heating issues on the forums, where the watch 4 LTE goes into cool-down mode shutting down all functions when on LTE. It is specifically happening on LTE watch, even during 1 min of call or so. It’s Also draining battery fast on LTE. Plz can you test & clarify? Really concerning issue because not many reviewers are testing & highlighting this!

As long as the watch last until I go to sleep and put it on the charger... I'm good... Matter of fact I have 40-50% left b4 I put it in the charger so if for some reason I need it for a few more hours I'm covered... Ex: on a Friday work at 8am, 7pm after work get some drinks maybe hit the the streets and hit IHop... back home around 3am, battery at 30%... Charge ur phone every night? Charge ur watch... Great battery life...

My Galaxy Watch 4 Classic must have had a problem, it doesn't fit any 20mm bracelet of these models in the video, I tested two and it's very tight, the 20mm bracelet is correct, but the new watch part is very tight unlike the previous versions
It was a tight fit for me as well…I had to fight with it at first as well but I got it to work

I have not used the LTE version. Been hearing that there's possible issues with this year's LTE version tho. Been seeing comments about it possibly overheating?

I just ordered a gal classic 4, 46mm. I've tried the gal 3, and a couple others, but the 3 (standard) requires all functions making it to be a smartwatch to be disabled. Still was at 53% after 5 hours. That is a MAD FAIL. I should've done better research. Thought I did. I'm hoping the 46mm classic can get me through the waking hour, to docking hour. That's all I require.

I have an s3 Frontier watch, with a metal band like you have on the 46mm 4 classic. basically gunna do thr same. I sleep in mine all the time. the battery finally stopped holding charge, looking to upgrade watches, while getting a replacement battery to have 2 watches. I get between 3-4-5 days on a fully charged s3 frontier. the frontier is stated to have a 380 mAh battery, the watch 4 classic is stated to have a 361mAh, is the battery life really that much worse with 19 less mAh?

If i am wearing the watch and i just got a call, in this case i have two options ( answer the call by moving my hand two times or to cancel the call by rotating my hand two times). My question is there any option to silence the ringing of the call like Apple watch they hold the screen then it will silence 🔕 the call without answering or give busy

Okay Finally FedEx and Samsung get my Silver Classic to me. 2 weeks after the fact. But now i see. Samsung has closed the gap with Apple Watch. It is bigger, better, the BMI seems close to Acurate, I'm Feeling this Watch ⌚ compared to the other generations after the Frontier.

This is another thing I think me and you need to have a sit down and talk bro I am also tired of all these reviewers constantly complaining about Bixby yes Bixby sucks in comparison to things like Google but that's because it's not supposed to be anything like Google Google is a Search Assistant while Bixby is more like a butler for your phone unless you have issues with your hands or your fingers or your speech you won't be using Bixby Bixby is used as a navigator and something to help with your phone when you can't do it yourself everybody thinks that it's supposed to be some way I search engine like Google Assistant it is not and if you don't understand what it really is I have no problem in schooling you so that you guys can properly let people know what Bigsby is so that the people that do need it and do use it won't be shunned from trying to it is not to be compared with Google because it was never made to be like Google from the start
You do know Samsung were the ones that created Swype Text. Google, I guess made it better, I don't know. Samsung created Swype though. Believe it or not. I am planning to change from Huawei watch GT 2 sport to Galaxy watch 4 classic 46mm. I am very afraid from the battery time. Huawei could take 8 days with full usage and 14 days with light usage. My question would be, if I will turn everything off on galaxy watch 4 classic 46mm, just only the night sleep mode on and maybe measure the blood pressure at every 10 minutes ( so bluetooth OFF, Wifi OFF, ECG OFF, Always on display OFF, hands up turn on mode OFF. ) What will be the real usage time without charging? 1 or 2 or 3 days maybe?
Anybody has experience on that?
Samsung stock watch bands this year are trash and they really seem like a after thought. Other that that and the lack of high speed charging the hardware is outstanding. No Google assistant out the box is a fail but they hurry up we can be happy.
I changed the strap on the watch 4 Classic because it was just uncomfortable. The watch 4 aka active has a much better strap

Why don't they have sapphire Crystal display? Best thing about Steel Apple watch & why I choose it over aluminium is I don't need think of a screen protector. Surprised these watches are still glass displays, poor.
Gboard is bug fffk up on wear OS3 I terms of the voice element especially. Constantly stuck on Intializing.. Tried all the reset, switch off Bluetooth turn back on again and reinstalling via both phone and watch options to push to watch.. Still doesn't want to play nice!
I switch my watch off overnight to save battery as I don't wear it whilst sleeping

Hey CJ, Have you tested the watch 4 on LTE usage? I have seen many USERS complaining of over-heating issues on the forums, where the watch 4 LTE goes into cool-down mode shutting down all functions when on LTE. It is specifically happening on LTE watch, even during 1 min of call or so. It’s Also draining battery fast on LTE. Plz can you test & clarify? Really concerning issue because not many reviewers are testing & highlighting this!
The watches aren't meant to run on LTE 100% of the time.... It should be attached to your phone via Bluetooth and attached to WiFi when possible...
@@lbeetech I'm not talking about 100% let, people are complaining about over-heating for even 1 min. of calls or streaming via let only. I already have active 2 & gear s3 frontier

As long as the watch last until I go to sleep and put it on the charger... I'm good... Matter of fact I have 40-50% left b4 I put it in the charger so if for some reason I need it for a few more hours I'm covered... Ex: on a Friday work at 8am, 7pm after work get some drinks maybe hit the the streets and hit IHop... back home around 3am, battery at 30%... Charge ur phone every night? Charge ur watch... Great battery life...
