Before ordering mine, I looked up so many reviews. This is the first to mention that the 42mm and the 46mm have different battery sizes. Something you'd think would be pretty essential to know and I should've payed more attention to on the official site.
I love the look of the Galaxy Watch 4 classic, but I had the 42mm version and the battery didn't even last a day, even with "always on display," continuous heart rate and SPO2 measurement turned off, GPS and wifi off, and brightness turned relatively low. I tried on the 46mm Classic and it was just large and heavy for me, especially for sleep tracking. As a result I got the 44mm regular watch 4, and while I still prefer the look of the classic, I get all of the functionality of the classic in a lighter package with a battery that lasts about 30 hours, even turning on some of the features that I had to turn off on the smaller watch. Either way, I'm very happy with the larger version, but would recommend that anybody who cares at all about battery life to avoid the 40mm Galaxy Watch 4 or 42mm Galaxy Watch 4 Classic and go with the 44mm or 46mm versions.

I got Black GW4 Classic 42mm (I'd get silver one but 42mm is glossy finished silver which i didn't like), no regrets battery lasts me full day, reliable and good looking watch
I don’t quite understand why you’re getting on to Samsung for doing the same thing Apple has done since day 1 - why does Apple get a pass on that? I get your point - Samsung would definitely have more watch customers if they played nice with Apple but Jobs started this whole “exclusivity” game, why can’t Samsung take a run at it… build THEIR own exclusive army of devout followers?

I bought 3...46mm Classic in thy silver and black plus the gold in 40mm. I'm happy with the watches but having issues getting LTE connected with my carrier. That's a huge disappointment enough to make me rethink all of this.

I saw your video on the comparison CJ with all the Samsung Galaxy watches and also the Gear S3 Frontier. Made my decision easy. I've currently got a Gear S3 Frontier and I'm wanting to upgrade my smartwatch, amongst other things because the rotating bezel won't work like it's supposed to anymore. Just bought the 4 Classic (Amazon Refurbished, like brand new for $150) in late Dec of 2022 & my old refurbished Gear S3 Frontier gets a day more battery life than this 4 Classic! Not sure what's up & I have everything turned down & I can barely get a day, if that. I can get 2 days plus on my Old Refurbished Gear S3 Frontier. Thinking of switching back. Plus I can get Gmail & notifications on my Gear S3 but not on my 4 Classic! Very odd.

Great content!! So, I had installed I had installed the custom watch faces, tag, Rolex, ect.. On my Galaxy 3 watch and was loving them. Then all of a sudden it stopped working. I uninstalled my watchmaker premium and reinstalled it. But when I try to apply the download it tells me that I don't have an app that supports it?? Is watchmaker premium no longer any good for this download??

There are two versions. One is Bluetooth only (which requires being near your phone) and the other one is a LTE version which you connect to your wireless provider and this model does not require a phone to be present...

I'm part of the 'Unplugged Family' and here's my Lady 3 cents after roughly a few days, thanks to a "Freebie" from my carrier. I have the 40mm GW4 in black. I saw this on another tech guys YT and that was to enable developers mode and turn animations down to .5, which I did do. Turn screen brightness down to 5 and less. No AOD nor anything background running. After all of this, I still can't stand the battery life on this "Wear OS" device. PROS It's beautiful to look at aesthetically (hope I spelled that right) Stock Watch band is ok Play Store Menus customizable More font options CONS I HATE the additional non removable watches faces that came with the last update. HATE Battery life is meh The Wear OS app CAN NOT be used with this watch, per my Google search AND actually trying to use them together The RED around the top button is making me wonder WHY????? I want to cover it up badly PS - I own every single Samsung smartwatch except the NEO. I know what I like and want and this is not all it as yet.
I just bought one of these previously owned a fossil gen 5 - I don't know why people are complaing about battery - full brightness - always on display - 8hrs and still 80% - I could easily get 40hrs
Its good watch and I like it so far but this watch has few bugs. If I make a call on my watch, the call goes over to my phone. Why can I use my watch to call and talk to my mom. However when I anwer, I am able to use my watch to answer phone calls. And 2nd bug is bixby. Doesnt do anything. It just says No capsule found and not connected. And 3rd is the battery. It dies too quickly if I over use so I have to watch my usuage. Tizen OS was better with battery. Bad move
Lack of iOS is the deal breaker. Issue, I am always picking up the iPhone, and not the S21 U. I have been using the watch since launch, but today will be the first time I’m buying an Apple Watch. In my profession, pulling a phone out of my pocket all the time isn’t an option.
I'm rethinking about selling my Galaxy 4 44mm. For recording my runs the GPS is off compared to my Garmin. And my RUclips Music loaded on it keeps messing up. I have to keep my wrist close to my chest in order to maintain a good connection. Samsung addressed the issue, but a new update this Friday messed it up again. I'm seriously thinking about getting an iPhone Pro 13 Max, and an Apple Watch 7.
I have the original Galaxy Watch and I get about 5 - 7 days out of the battery. Albeit I super optimize it for the best battery life I can get, but all these reviews mentioning how bad the battery is makes me worry about upgrading. In saying that, I am upgrading and picking up this watch today because my watch is starting to feel very dated, but hopefully I can get close to the same kind of battery life on the 4 Classic as the original Classic by optimizing it like crazy, otherwise I'm going to forget to charge it 😅 I turn off all of the sensors, never use always on and limit it down to basically being a quick way to see important notifications that I can then reply to instantly on the watch if need be. Which the texting is where the original was feeling very dated, so I'm very much looking forward to the new keyboard.
it’s possible disable bezel function to use it like dive watch or to track time elapse ? i mean = disable the bezel to dont go to menu when i turn or spin . I want that the bezel even rotating do not go to menu , i need to stay in pointers face to use tachymeter

Rarely i am receiving notifications like whatsapp messages but the vibration is not working. I will see the orange point by luck then i will know that i got notifications. Also, sometimes my when i got a calls it will not come to my watch where it is very close to my mobile? Is it normal to have such cases?
I can normally get 2 and a half days out of my Gear S3, lol yes I still have the gear S3. But normally if I'm in the kitchen or something I just toss it on the charger and when I'm done I'm back in the game

2 - 2.5days but I turn off always on display, touch, bezel, raise arm don't turn on the screen. But I have real time heart rate on, snoor detection off, sleep tracking on. I also charge it for 2 hours before bed.

Watch 4 classic is exciting but battery backup is ruining the experience. Need to charge twice with normal using though I m using 46mm. Samsung / Google really need to do something with power consumption in wear OS. Tizen watches backup are still astonishing.

Its good watch and I like it so far but this watch has few bugs. If I make a call on my watch, the call goes over to my phone. Why can I use my watch to call and talk to my mom. However when I anwer, I am able to use my watch to answer phone calls. And 2nd bug is bixby. Doesnt do anything. It just says No capsule found and not connected. And 3rd is the battery. It dies too quickly if I over use so I have to watch my usuage. Tizen OS was better with battery. Bad move
Lack of iOS is the deal breaker. Issue, I am always picking up the iPhone, and not the S21 U. I have been using the watch since launch, but today will be the first time I’m buying an Apple Watch. In my profession, pulling a phone out of my pocket all the time isn’t an option.
I'm rethinking about selling my Galaxy 4 44mm. For recording my runs the GPS is off compared to my Garmin. And my RUclips Music loaded on it keeps messing up. I have to keep my wrist close to my chest in order to maintain a good connection.
Samsung addressed the issue, but a new update this Friday messed it up again. I'm seriously thinking about getting an iPhone Pro 13 Max, and an Apple Watch 7.

I have the original Galaxy Watch and I get about 5 - 7 days out of the battery. Albeit I super optimize it for the best battery life I can get, but all these reviews mentioning how bad the battery is makes me worry about upgrading. In saying that, I am upgrading and picking up this watch today because my watch is starting to feel very dated, but hopefully I can get close to the same kind of battery life on the 4 Classic as the original Classic by optimizing it like crazy, otherwise I'm going to forget to charge it 😅 I turn off all of the sensors, never use always on and limit it down to basically being a quick way to see important notifications that I can then reply to instantly on the watch if need be. Which the texting is where the original was feeling very dated, so I'm very much looking forward to the new keyboard.

Anyone use different bands? I have a velcro band. A Stretchy fabric one and a fabric woven stretchy band. The metal ones grab my wrist hair.
it’s possible disable bezel function to use it like dive watch or to track time elapse ? i mean = disable the bezel to dont go to menu when i turn or spin . I want that the bezel even rotating do not go to menu , i need to stay in pointers face to use tachymeter

I have Galaxy watch 4 classic 46 mm and my mobile is Galaxy Note 20 ultra. Rarely i am receiving notifications like whatsapp messages but the vibration is not working. I will see the orange point by luck then i will know that i got notifications.
Also, sometimes my when i got a calls it will not come to my watch where it is very close to my mobile?
Is it normal to have such cases?
I can normally get 2 and a half days out of my Gear S3, lol yes I still have the gear S3. But normally if I'm in the kitchen or something I just toss it on the charger and when I'm done I'm back in the game

Love the video! I am really interrested in the 46 mm silver but the battery life is making me doubt a lot! How much hours do you get out of your battery?
2 - 2.5days but I turn off always on display, touch, bezel, raise arm don't turn on the screen. But I have real time heart rate on, snoor detection off, sleep tracking on. I also charge it for 2 hours before bed.

Watch 4 classic is exciting but battery backup is ruining the experience. Need to charge twice with normal using though I m using 46mm. Samsung / Google really need to do something with power consumption in wear OS. Tizen watches backup are still astonishing.
