Over the course of 2 years my Galaxy Watch 5 and 6 helped motivate me to lose 75lbs to get back to a healthy 140lbs.
I look forward to this year's Galaxy Watch releases and am keenly interested in the rumored Ultra variant.
I upgraded from a Galaxy Watch 2 to a 6 Classic earlier this year, and I love it. I live in NY, and instead of taking my phone out of my pocket on the subway, I can just check my watch when a notification comes in, and that's great. My only gripe is that the battery isn't the best. I was getting 2-3 days with my previous watch, but now I get about 1 1/2 days at best and I'm not a heavy user.
I'm getting 2 1/2 days on my watch 6 classic just by changing notifications from apps I need and not having it vibrate and using battery saver just cause I work I don't need it to light up showing the time I know we shouldn't have to set it like this but it helps and having the heart rate monitor every 10 minutes while still will save a lot of battery just some tips
@@cellaa70 I'll try a few things out to see if it helps. One of the first things I make sure to either not turn on or disable are the health apps since I don't use them. Luckily I don't wear it for sleep, so it makes it easier to decide to charge it overnight.
I wpuld get a smart watch but then i would have to carry two watches on me a real watch and smart watch
@@michaelmayers3622 you don't need to carry two watches just cause you have a smartwatch bro you already have the time on your phone & watch and when you go to bed just charge them up while you sleep it comes in handy having the watch especially if you the type that sometimes leaves your cell behind and you don't have to keep pulling the phone out to look at texts or who's calling you

The 6 Classic is for bosses. Can't wait for the 7 Ultra. Still rocking my Watch5 Pro daily when I'm in the field for work.

Has anyone found the work around to add custom ringtones. Factory sounds so weak. I miss my gw 46mm (2018). I wished Ringtone sync worked with gw 6 on s23 ultra.

Been out of the smart watch game for almost a year but think I'm ready to jump back in. Plus last smart watch I owned was the Gear 2 (I believe that what it was) before all these better looking watches they have dropped
Great content. I have the watch4 44mm. I'm gonna wait for the watch 7 ultra. It's supposed to look like the Panerai luminor chronograph. If so, sweeet. And it's 100m water resistant. And it has a turning bezel.

Samsung girly for years all had to be Lte version coming from galaxy active2 galaxy watch4 now galaxy watch 6 got in a bigger size this my favorite one by far even it only came out almost a year I only had it for 3 months the battery has improved a bit I love my Samsung galaxy watch & imma stick beside it 😁
Just took advantage of the current promotion - saved $250. off the 6 Classic - trading in my 5 Pro. Hard to pass that deal up. They also had a BOGO deal but you couldn't use a trade-in as well as that deal, so I chose the trade-in option.

Great video! I got an S24 Ultra last weekend from Samsung directly for a really good price, and got a Galaxy Watch 6 for free (44mm). Had it for a few days and I like the watch, but I'm thinking of trading it in to Samsung and getting a Watch 6 classic (Silver - 47mm). Going to a Samsung store in London to try out the 6 Classic and see 1. if I want it and 2. if I should go with 43mm or 47mm. If I trade in my Watch 6, I can get the 6 Classic 47mm for £150!

Let's goooo just got my silver watch 6 classics two days ago and I love. Had to make changes to setting as day one. I had everything on and got 16hrs, but day two turned off some setting, and I got 28 hrs as of now 70% battery life left. So not bad
What settings did you switch off to get this many hours?
@@Riz1786 so I turned off the always on display I put the heart rate monitoring to check every 10 minutes I think or manually I switched adaptive display so I set my own brightness turn off location NFC and Wi-Fi I also turned off the Google Assistant so I push a button to activate the assistant instead of it waiting to hear from me say hey Google does that drain your battery actively listening for those commands but yeah other than that I'm still getting two days by around 50 54 hours but I always make sure I check and don't have no apps running in the background
@@Riz1786 I'm not a fitness guy so I don't use all those Fitness things so I have anything that's health-related turned off the only thing I kept on health-related was the steps and the sleeping add heart rate that's it all those other Health Fitness things that runs I don't mess with I just use my watch just to get notifications and to answer quick calls and texts but so far I'm loving it so good that I bought the wifey one
@bpzay2491 I did similar on most had watch a week not impressed with battery life may return it I am coming from an old garmin so I do like the ui and bezel let's see..
@@Riz1786 you know what I get that a lot of people want like 5 days 2 weeks a battery life but when you look at your phone you charge your phone every day and the battery life on the phone sucks more than the watch so the way I see it is like s*** if I can get two days out of it I'm Gucci even if I could get one day I'm happy because I'll just charge it if I have to sleep but as I said I don't use all those Fitness features that's on there so my use case is different from everybody else's

I had the 4 classic loved it
For the past 3.5 years(and counting) I've been exclusively using the Apple Watch 6. Before that however I had owned the Gear S2 Classic, Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Watch Active 2. I've had the Watch 6 Classic 43mm version for the past 6 days. The 47mm model would be too big for me. Tbh apart from a larger screen and smaller bezels nothing much has changed except for the greatly improved Samsung Health. With maximum brightness and AOD OFF and low power mode ON a full charge lasts about 50 hours. Henceforth I'll be charging it in my accustomed 30-95% range. I have likes and dislikes about both my watches but the Apple Watch feels more comfortable when worn being less bulky. As mentioned the square display of the Apple Watch allows more information to be shown or accessed.

Battery life is not subjective. You can measure it very easily and compare it with other smartwatches for benchmarks. And I gave my galaxy watch 6 back due to the bad reviews on the battery life.
I hate my Watch 6 Classic. I would use my Charge 6 before I would use any Galaxy Watch at this point. For now, I use the PW2.
Samsung is selling any Samsung watch on sale, plus they will give you any watch free.
