I'm 59. A few months ago my 22-year-old daughter asked me to train to run a half-marathon with her in September. Have never run more than 10 miles in my life and hadn't run more than a mile for years but I decided to give it a try. Been doing this warm-up every time before I run a couple months and am up to 3 to 4 miles a run. So far so good.
Been running since Nov. and have always done another creator’s pre run yoga. This warm up made me realize how much I need to incorporate some strength training into my routine! I was feeling sore from just the warm-up! 😂 thanks for all you do, your content is amazing!!!

Tried this today felt good ran 5k and went off quick struggled abit but stuck with it got a pb of just over 27 mins 3 runs back I was doing it in 34 mins thanks Ash feel like mo farrah

Thanks Ash! I need to get better at stretching before and after runs. I’ve been running for 14 years now but have had running related injuries due to overtraining including Morton’s neuroma I needed to have surgery for in both feet. Post op 2 years later I’m trying to improve my form and get a bit smarter! Haha I’m not invincible like I once thought! Anyway, thanks!
