Uuuuuh, i always come back to this PREMIER Genista kit at 3:18 . What a beast kick n snare combo! Brilliant tune!
Thank you :)
After borrowing my friend's TD11-KV(which was in a box ), I brought it home, updated the version to 1.15, and started searching for good drum sounds . I found this video, played it 4 times, and bought the pack. I am a happy camper! The sounds are so good. Loving the Catalina, Noble and Cooley, and the Sonor Delite .
I made the mistake of showing him the vid and what I did, now he's asking for it back :-/
😀 thank you, happy to hear that you like the sounds! (not so much, that your friend wants back the kit now...) Kind regards!
This is just... wow!!! You guys did an amazing job with this one! If I close my eyes I really couldn't hear the difference between this and the acoustic drums. And Mr Schumaher's playing is impeccable as always!
Thank you so much Marko! :)
Correct me if im wrong, Didnt you just mix all the stuck sounds and made it sound like for example “Ludwig kit” and same thing with the other kits? Because when I tried to modify the Ludwig kit, all I see is the stuck sounds and no “new”Drum tec sounds, Did you just gather around the preset “stuck” in Roland module? And made it to sound like a “new” kit?
Sorry it maybe a silly question. If my theory is correct then its useless wasted money, but genius I must say if they are the real sound of the 18Kits.
@@kamuts7 Yeah, its made from stock sounds but it needs a lot of modifications and eq in module to make it sound like this. Make it yourslef if you think its wasted money.
I just purchased and installed these custom kits and the Yamaha Live Custom alone is worth the whole price of the package. The sound of that bass drum coming through my Simmons D50 or Sony MDR-7506 makes me smile, every time. Glad Drum Tec came up with these Custom Kits. Keep 'em comin'. Love from Orlando, Florida.
Hey Javier, that's great to hear. Happy drumming & all the best!
They sound unbelievable!! You usually hear a little bit of difference? But this edition is Crazy Good Man!!!
Omg these sound amazing! Cant believe this is the td-11. Buying these right now!
Great to hear, happy drumming! :)
Came here for the drummer!
Me too! That said, I actually really like the sounds of most of these kits. The Tama Starclassic one is perfect for that big 80's Rock vibe!
Thank you so so much all for those awesome videos!! They did help me to decide between the TD-09 and the TD-11, of which i'm going to buy one used. To me and with decent headphones the TD-11 has the more natural attack especially on the toms. And with your sound editions i'll have more sets to play, that i could've dreamed of! :Danke
Thank you for your kind feedback Karl! I think the TD-11 is more advanced & newer (it actually kind of replaced the TD-9), so I would suggest the TD-11 in any case or possibly even a TD-17 if you were able to stretch the budget a little.
The TD-17 comes with the Live Sound Edition for free if you get it from drum-tec:
www.drum-tec.com/roland-td-17-sound-module-incl.-live-sound-edition
And there are several VERY nice other sound editions for the TD-17 too:

@@drumtecTV Thanks but i'll buy a used set for around the price of the TD-17 module alone :D ...for now, i most likely only throw 32 Euros into your direction. Maybe one day, i'll have a complete drum-tec kit :))
Fantastic Demo as always Ralf. Nice to see the Tom Tom Drum-tec Badges are "Handed" :-)
Thanks dude! :)
Great sounds, worked instantly. Thank you!
Great to hear, happy drumming!
I have owned and played many of Roland's modules...Tds-8, 9, 12, 20, 25, 17 and 27...I still like my 11 the best. Great sounds(in my opinion) and easy to use. This sounds like a great pack...I just might have to try it.
Hey Patrick, there are various sound editions available for the TD-11 actually, that you might want to check out:

Is it me or the 17 module even tho with higher quality samples and whatnot, has way worse and boring sounds compared to 11? They're either too dry or too hollow, whereas the 11 has more variety, brighter and warmer sounds.
this guy can make any kit sound incredible. seriously should think about doing some tutorials. impressive!
Thank you Nate, you can follow Ralf on his YT Channel digitaldrumming if you like. Kind regards!
Man, you should do some tutorials videos about druming, you're so good at playing.
Thank you very much! :)
I just bought rock/metal sound edition. I feel I will buy this edition too.Like these sound very much.I hope there will be more.
That´s great to hear, thank you for your feedback! :)
Worth it just for the Bonham-esque Vistalite kit!
Incredible drumming.
Thank you Chris!
Really enjoyed. I bought it and I'm already enjoying. Some kits were good for playing MPB (a Brazilian style)!
Glad to hear that, happy drumming! :)
En esa descarga, se incluye tambien el ajuste de parametros de el modulo?? es decir, el ajuste de sensibilidad de los pads y todo eso?
Super! Some kits close to td 30 or 50 teally.
This is the best pack! Is it possible to mix different kits parts to create a custom one myself?
Buen día cómo puedo comprar e instalar a mi batería Roland TD11… que precio tiene?
I love tama acoustic drum name super star drum set
How were you able to add the extra cymbal and still have the 3 zone ride?. I have this module and I'm seriuosly thinking of buying these kits, awesome!
Hey Raul, great to hear! The TD-11 module has a double trigger connector for a 3-zone ride, as well as an additional separate trigger input for a second crash cymbal. Kind regards!
Half of these snares sound absolutely terrible but the other half are really quite decent. Very impressive. I used to have a td11 and some of these kits definetely sound much better than the stock kits.
That’s less drumtecs fault and more Roland being cheap on the sounds
@@jadonchacon4914 I know, the snares where they try a more wet buzzing sound is the ones that show the limitations of the module the most. The drier sounds are actually really good imo. I'm not bashing drum tec at all ;).
Kristian Friis Yeah Roland has really good pads and hardware but not so much with their module sounds
Because they got them from the stock sounds lol, they did not record new kits, only took out from the stock and scrambled them around to make the 18kits sounds, I dont mind that if they are the real sound of the 18 kits.
Can this be recorded as MIDI using a DAW? Or just stereo?
Only seeing this now and hope u can reply but any chance of giving us the option to buy these kit sounds individually or at least in smaller bundles?
Is this an acoustic kit but using mesh heads and triggers hooked up to the module ?
Does the td-11 has positional sensing?
Please explain how to transfer the td11 program to the drum module after approval!!

Do you have electrónic kits for that model?
I’m so angry I wasn’t able to but this settings pack for my td-11. I couldn’t get the order to go through on my credit card, I couldn’t figure out how to change it from Euro to Dollar. I bought the VEX settings pack instead. It was good but I like the sounds of this way way better. I sold my td-11 and upgraded to the strike module now. I see you sell custom
Kits for the strike module as well now, actually 2 or 3 of them. I’m going to watch
Those vids and probably order it
These sound fantastic, my only concern is that they are as large as a normal kit. Can you recommend a kit with these sounds but it smaller and easy to move around, without all the hardware?
Hi, you might check out the more recent Roland TD-17 kits:
www.drum-tec.com/sets/roland?p=1
You can get any custom kit configuration from drum-tec btw, which means you might swap any pad/cymbal in any kit or get a completely new configuration which exactly meets your needs. Feel free to get in touch through service@drum-tec.de for further assistance. Kind regards!
Hi I bought this pack and it sounds great for the most part, its completely revamped my kit, however the toms (accept floor tom) seem to be booming with these new kit presets, any advice on how to rectify it?
Hey Nathan, thanks for your feedback! What do you mean by booming, and what are you using for monitoring? Depending on your headphone/monitoring situation, it might be that high bass / low mid frequencies appear more dominant as they actually are in the module. You could always just reduce the volume of the toms to your preference, or use the internal eq to reduce some bottom end. Kind regards!
Good shit m8 👍🏾👍🏾
Real acoustic jazz edition please!🙂
hey so i was looking to build an electric-acoustic kit with some electric cymbals, is it possible for me to use a few of something like the Roland tm1 or tm2 and just plug them into my laptop instead of buying a full drum module?
Hey Kalan, using only TM1/tm2 won´t work out properly for a full kit, you need a module that can also use a hihat controller, I suggest looking at the Roland TD-17L (cheaper version of the TD-17 without bluetooth), that´s real great bang-for-the-buck and offers everything you need for this probably:

hi im in california can i still purchase and it will download?

very cool more as i live in Brazil the coverted value of the euro to the real gets a little higher maybe with a discount it gets better
Will your software also work on my original TD11 stock kits or do I still have to upgrade my kits to an acoustic one?
The TD-11 sound editions can be installed to any Roland TD-11 sound module. You can find all sound editions over here:

@@drumtecTV kudos to youand thanks for the reply! :D
Im a total noob so i ask how does these work? Can i use these on my roland td17-kvx? How do i install these to my drum set after i have downloaded them? Thanks!
Hey Benn, no this SOund Edition is only working with Roland TD-11. You can find the TD-17 Metal Sound Edition over here though:

drumtecTV That’s Right... Although the sounds for the TD17 that they have for sale are good ones, I wonder when DrumTech is going to make other sounds available for the Roland TD17 ...
@@rolderdrummer2448 Hi there, new editions are in the making. But as we do not have a dedicated sound edition "department" unfortunately, it is hard to tell when the products are ready to be launched. Kind regards!
hey ralph any pref of drum module that plays back your samples the best sonically, im having a tough time deciding what micro detail will matter, eg td 25 worth getting for snare position sensor just in case it does work better or has any benefits triggering slate drums or software etc, just thinking about it all, it is a lot of research as i dont want to buy the wrong gear again lol
Hi! If you are after great triggering/playability and want to be using external samples, the TD-27 fits the bill perfectly (compatible with Roland digital pads & VH-13, positional sensing, more inputs/outputs than TD-17 & TD-25, USB multichannel audio/midi interface etc). If that's out of budget, you could go for the TD-17, which is more flexible than the TD-25 imo. KInd regards!
@@drumtecTV brilliant i think a td27 module and drumtec snare would be the best bet for now, does the loom have jack male quarter inch to plug into my yam dtx pads and cymbals would you know, exciting stuff
really looking to get my snare improved for recording and more dynamics on software too :)
@@Bcwilderness As far as I know, the Yamaha pads are not Roland compatible sadly. You can get in touch through service@drum-tec.de for further info if you like! Kind regards
Hello !
Is this custom kit works with the td15 modules ?

How I can get this pack....
Greetings from India

Kind regards!
Can i record a sound and transfer it to my drum module?
Hi, the Roland TD-11 sound module is not able to load any external samples unfortunately. Kind regards!
is that really a cy15r ? it looks so small
Hey Marcus, it is! Well, 15" still is kind of small for a ride cymbal ;) Kind regards!
The Sonor Force 3000 doesn´t sound anything like the real Sonor Force 3000. I´ve got one. Just bought this sound pack and I´m a bit dissapointed. There´s no new sounds at all. It´s the same that are already included, just "tailored" or modified in Volume, tuning, Eq and Reverb and brought together sometimes in strange ways. From the Pack I´d say only 3 or 4 are useful for me. So, quite expensive for what it is.
I’m not sure about those snare sounds. May just be too much gate.
Aaaaah!!!!!
This sounds truly aweful. Roland need to get vst in their modules yesterday. This is silly.
Partly I have to agree. The sound of the toms is mostly not so good. But I think this is mostly due to the reverb that sounds a bit bad. But the rest is quite awesome. The Ludwig and the Sonor and Tamas are quite impressive!
How many zone does the cymbals have on this module?
Ride has 3 zones, crashes/hh have dual zone. Kind regards!
@@drumtecTV do you still recommend this module in 2021? Thank you for replying 💯
@@ouji7136 The TD-17 is much more advanced & feels more realistic at a very affordable price :) kind regards!
I paid 40$ can. The only thing i received is a td11 pdf manual and a license in my email.
Please get in touch through info@drum-tec.de! Kind regards
that looks more like TD-22 not 11
module is a td11
