These are my thoughts of this tinted moisturizing sunscreen after a year of using it consistently! It also has a new look which I wanted to highlight in this video. Love this product. I am over 60 and it does not sink into lines. I have no Botox or fillers so this is important to me. I use it over a sunscreen for double protection
I love it. It's very creamy and feels wonderful on my skin. It offers less coverage than other products that are actual CC creams so sometimes I add a bit of CC cream over it But I agree it's wonderful and I love the high SPF
They haven't changed the formulation but stopped claiming niacinamide on front of pack. In a cosmetic to be able to claim a substance you need to have a certain amount (I believe 0.01%), less than that is considered to not have an effect. To me, sounds suspicious they stopped claiming a substance that is getting more popular unless they have less than the required amount, hence the niacinamide on the product cannot be considered effective.

Is it for oily skin?
Great video Dr. Sugai! I bought this and the mineral sunscreens about a month ago. I haven't had the chance to try this one yet as I've been using and enjoying the mineral one. I don't know what the packaging was before but I wish this would come in a tube instead. Oh well. Keep these videos coming. Have a great weekend.
It makes your skin shiny. It needs to be matte, so it will lock natural.
It gives my skin a little glow. I love it.

have you noticed that your skin exfoliated a lot after using this? I've used it twice and it seems like it is but I'm not sure if it is THIS product or something else I'm using?
I just ordered 2 of these for their black friday sale. I've been an Elta MD UV Clear tinted user for years and I'm so tired of hunting for deals to keep costs down as it's an expensive prodcut since I use so much of it and reapply often. Hoping this works out. Thank you for the solid review.

Nothing has changed in this product. Active and inactive ingredients are the same. So the color of the cap appears elegant. Big deal!
Hi Dr! Love your videos, I’m also from the Seattle area as well! I really am interested in trying this sunscreen out however I did see someone do a review about how they used nano size zinc oxide and claim that’s not great for UVA protection. Is there some truth to this? How much of it being nano size is really a concern for it not giving the proper UVA protection? Thanks!!

I like your video's, and followed you recommendations on this tinted sunscreen. I didn't like that it put a shine on my face. It makes my face shiny, so I needed to apply a powder.
Please enlightening us on the use of Benzoyl Peroxide with vitamin c. Is it true that the peroxide will oxidize the vitamin c and therefore makes it useless?
Dr Alexis Stephens and Dr Dray have videos on ingredients that don't mix. Dr Stephens also has a video on ingredients that work better together. BP and SA are two ingredients that tend not to get along with a lot of ingredients unless used in certain ways.

I’m 56 and have gotten a lot of dark spots and freckles like. I am Latin with light dark latin skin shade. What to do? What would help to remove them and clear-up my face? Please!

I am hesitant to try it because the UVA rating is unknown. Is there anyway to know ? Seems like alot of the US sunscreen reviews are based on texture, feel &. SPF rating, but seems like UVA rating should not be ignored.

Thanks for this video. My dermatologist recommended Elta MD Clear SPF 46 tinted mineral sunscreen for my combination-oily.It's a nice sunscreen but still left a slight white cast on my skin, which is a VI on the Fitzpatrick scale. I will definitely give the Dermatology tinted sunscreen a shot even though I don't have dry skin. Could you please review Colorscience Total Protection Face Shield Flex sunscreens as well? Thanks

I ask because I recently purchased a ridiculous amount of sunscreens, including Elta MD UV Clear, Elta MD UV Daily, Colorscience, this one, the new mineral one from DRMTLGY, etc. I haven’t tried them all, but I’ve worn Elta MD UV Clear on my face several days in a row because I loved the way it felt on my face when I applied it. It was sooooo light and dried quickly. When I read your comment, I thought… well, nice! This sunscreen is cheaper and also recommended by a (actually, several) well-respected dermatologist! Ha. So I just wondered why you loved it, and why so much more than Elta MD UV Clear! :)
@@freespiritchristina I feel like it dries down quick, is pretty matte which I like because I lean oily. I like the pump amount - I am able to control my amount better than on the UV clear pump. It’s cheaper, which I love. Lots of derms love it. Im 99% sure lots of med spa type places rebrand it as their own. I used multiple bottles of the UV clear and once I found this one I haven’t used anything else. I use it in place of morning moisturizer and I almost crazy putting it on after my shower. It’s made me wear sunscreen religiously daily and I figure that’s a pretty good sign! I actually use the untinted as my first layer and then the original tinted as my second layer.
Oily skin people say it leaves the skin oily!
