Only negative thing about this car is the Lexus is the MPG.
Other then that this is the best Luxury SUV you can buy even tho it's from the older era of performance
Mouse control is easier than a touch screen in my opinion.

It's a awesome SUV and I'd compare it to the G-Wagon 550. Same MPG, same third row seats, same luxury but it has more room, the first button above the Trac dial is a locking rear wheel if you're turning tight corners around rocks or obstacles. Plus it has a Superior resale value of which the G Wagon only wished it had. Good review and Happy New Year from Vancouver Island.
G Class is 25k more and has no third row. Plus much less tech. Hopefully the new one will be cheaper and better.
I'm not a tech person at all,in fact I still use a flip phone! However, I own a '17 ES350 and don't have any issues with using the screen controls. It also has voice recognition which I use for the a/c and navigation as well as changing radio stations. You just need to get used to it.

This would be a great alternative for a Range Rover very comfortable very good quality and reliability and great off-road capabilities

It’s a luxury vehicle,luxury vehicles don’t need power because they are for relaxation and comfort.If you want so much power you can install a racechip to increase hp and torque or a supercharger.5.7 is a lot and you’re feeling lag in the acceleration that’s because it’s full time four wheel drive power is constantly going to all four wheels and it’s does not rely on crappy turbos or superchargers which are aids to give boost to the engine.Nothing like Toyota,Nissan and GMC reliable,comfortable and good resale value cars with customer satisfaction and these are the these brands who build true truck based suvs i.e “body on frame.”
I don't hate the spindle grille on Lexus' performance cars but it looks strange on this SUV. The front looks too aggressive and angular while the sides look pretty tame in comparison. It looks like two different vehicles put together

This is honestly my favorite vehicle but one it's too expensive to buy and 2 that uses a lot of gas and probably three it's expensive to insure

Peter Cram Well of course. Lexus is a luxury brand, while Toyota is more of a mainstream brand. The way I see it, get the Land Cruiser if you are actually taking this SUV off road. Get the Lexus LX if you just want to go grocery shopping and pick up your kids from soccer practice in style and luxury.

Unlike the LC, it has rear wheel steering, nicer materials, more tech, and big wheels. Pretty much identical.

Yeah I’m not a fan of the looks of this LX. I like the previous 2015 version better. This one looks too much like an RX, which isn’t good if you’re paying $100K.

These things are ridiculously overpriced. Basically a Japanese Cadillac Escalade, and for some reason they barely depreciate. That being said, something like a Mercedes G class is about the same price, but it is faster, and better off road. Same for Range Rover, same price, faster, better off road, so why would anyone buy this? Especially on the used market these things are still way more expensive than a German offering or a Range Rover

sorry I read wrong. rushly read it. lexus is the best as I just bought one 2017 lx570. that's the best one. I mistakenly read that escalade and Yukon better than lexus which is no no
the cadillack escalade platinum is more luxurious and powerful

According to consumer reports, the Cadillac Escalades reliability is 3/100. The Lexus LX is 96/100. I’ve considered buying one or the other and the Cadillac is a disgrace. The materials are cheap, the panel gaps are horrible. Not only that, the Escalade’s technology doesn’t top Lexus. Plus, Lexus LX can off-road with all of its features. Getting a Cadillac is pointless when put into comparison. Did I mention the depreciation on the Cadillac yet? Within 5 years and 100k miles, the Escalade is worth about 10-15k. Lexus is still in the 30k range at that time.
Maybe so but, it doesn't have a 25 year mandatory service life.
