Why students don't text message in my class

[Note: This video is a skit. The cell phone is a prop.] Some professors complain about students inappropriately texting, checking e-mail, etc. during class. I don't complain, I act. This short video displays a technique for preventing students from texting during class specifically, but it can also be easily modified for other situations, e.g., a student who is checking Facebook on their laptop instead of paying attention.
