Xyre154 😂😂😂 you think kicking out what looked to be like 20-30 students would hurt the universities income? You’re wrong, very, very wrong. They make money off sports, food, merchandise. All of that on top of the enormous tuition you have to pay to go there.
Xyre154 colleges like OSU are so big that it doesn’t even matter. Their football team alone generates $90+ million dollars a year, their whole athletic department is rumored to have a net worth of one BILLION dollars a year, again I say rumor so don’t quote me on that, but the football team 100% makes $90+ million dollars for the school. So yeah they can afford to expel that many students. Colleges still receive money from former alumni through merchandise and ticket sales and some even donate large sums of money. So for you to say that OSU was just threatening these students because they can’t afford to expel them is wrong. Yeah this may not be the case for smaller colleges, but OSU is enormous, they have over 30,000 students. So to say that losing 30 students hurt would hurt them financially is wrong. Yeah they may not want to expel that many students because, and I will agree, that is a shit ton of money to just throw away but still, they can without a doubt afford to say fuck em and throw em all out. I will agree not every college can do this because with smaller colleges with only 10,000 and less student most definitely cannot afford that, and yeah I actually was high when I wrote that and I’m still high now and I just showed you how wrong you were. I’m done with this conversation.

Their parents never set up some limits for them and now they are unhinged. They need their head to be straightened and the best way to do it is as calm but unyielding as possible. If you start screaming or get aggressive you would play into their hands. Look how the "women" (I'm reluctant to call her that, because of her behavior) in the red shirt tried to provoke them. But this eloquent, calm and confident behavior made them uncomfortable and their overblown egos deflated.
They are obsessed with being oppressed. They will do everything in their power to fight the system. All I see is a bunch of children with mommy/daddy issues who are taking it out on society.

How is it entitled to protest for your rights as a person of color which is what they were doing, so I'm assuming they are protesting police brutality or something like that which mind you effects people of color worse than white people, it's not entitlement it's literally a fact
Notice how the tall guy argues. He stays on point. When someone tries to divert the conversation to debate a sub-point just so they can establish a foothold in an attempt to worm their way out, he steers them back to the main point. "This is our decision, this is what will happen if you do not comply."
Yeah! Breaking rules with no consequences is only for politicians, the President, the rich and powerful. The poors, however, dare not protest lest they get arrested, or lack "parenting" and require reeducation.
+Falstad007 Exactly. The pussies form a mob, yell and scream and threaten violence with what they want to believe is plausible deniability. Then they deny cry if anyone dares call them on it.
They're kids. You want to give them the opportunity to learn and grow. You don't get that with instant expulsion. The admins here made the right choice. They have a couple hours to consider. Make the right decision and everything is fine. Make the wrong one and it is arrest + expulsion. Pretty clear if you ask me. The issue is these kids were taught about protest but NOT about respect for authority. The teachers are acting like TEACHERS. This is a learning moment for the kids. So try to get them to heed reality. If not, then the punishment will force it down their throats.
I would not like to describe these children as "deplorable" collective idiocy. These are "I got a trophy because I participated, safe space, cry baby, soy latte paramecium"
"We tell you the truth and you live with your actions." Finally someone who knows how to talk to them. He also said "no" to them multiple times. A word they never heard from their parents.

This video should NOT be a big deal, that it is impressive to see college faculty treating students like adults, expecting them to behave as adults, and reminding them of the consequences if they fail to follow rules or break laws, is an indication of the extent to which college administrations across the country have been mollycoddling students far more than they should. So while it is refreshing to see, it is actually sad that such a simple demonstration of what rules and accountability looks like has become so rare as to be news worthy.

Xyre154 you care way too much about this shit idk why you think anybody is gonna read all that nobody cares as much as you about something so pointless get over yourself
That guy was pretty polite and straightforward - and you can see one of his main aims is to stop these guys from getting expelled.
"if you remain here after this time, police will be called in to remove you"
"but they have weapons"
... so don't remain there after being told then...
They are NOT smart kids !! Expell them all !
+Alan Falk
Expel them and let's see if they aren't scared of their parents
+Alan Falk
It WOULD raise the collective IQ of the school by 5 points. Good call.
+Alan Falk Treating someone respectfully and speaking with them calmly is the best way to get them to cooperate and listen
***** Maybe the lefties can learn that. Frankly, I am sick of the way that they act like Nazi Brown Shirts. Seriously...there is little to no difference between young lefties act and the way the Nazi Brown Shirts acted. Bullying to get their way.
+Rusty LH Brown Shirts would beat you to death in a vicious street fight. These crybabies inside the body of an adult are cowards.
These kid's have no idea what a real cause to fight for is.
More important than "cultural appropriation?" Impossible.
These students are the future? oh dear... Lock em up, they are wasting earths resources.
They are obsessed with being oppressed. They will do everything in their power to fight the system. All I see is a bunch of children with mommy/daddy issues who are taking it out on society.
Because they’ve never faced true oppression
Out of Blue Pills lmfaooo y'all talk like your part of WW2
I loveeeee how they all take turns trying out the same condescending tone thing. They don't understand that this is the exact same thing that gets students in trouble normally, they aren't immune to everything because it's under a guise.
His patience is amazing.
I'm guessing he's a parent to several 5-12 year old kids because this is exactly how a dad tells his kids they've been naughty.

Wow. You stole my name.
The most entitled thing I’ve ever heard is “Some of us are people of color soooo....”
yah fat bitch
@Senior Partner lol true ,
Entitled and RACIST. Anytime you mention the color of your skin for your own benefit or gain is racist!
I liked how no one cheered her on after that comment, it just got awkward, cringy & quiet
How is it entitled to protest for your rights as a person of color which is what they were doing, so I'm assuming they are protesting police brutality or something like that which mind you effects people of color worse than white people, it's not entitlement it's literally a fact
More colleges and universities need to follow in their steps. Go job Ohio State!
Notice how the tall guy argues. He stays on point. When someone tries to divert the conversation to debate a sub-point just so they can establish a foothold in an attempt to worm their way out, he steers them back to the main point. "This is our decision, this is what will happen if you do not comply."
I love how people who claim speech is violence laugh when they are told the staff were frightened by their mob tactics.
These kids never had any parenting. This is like the first time in their life an adult gave them a rule with consequences.
Haidt argues the opposite. Freedom after controlled parenting.
Exactly Right!
I wonder if the blame rests solidly on the parenting at home, or that theyd theyd flushed their child into the toilet every weekday morning K-12. ?
jjh lk this is a product of being raised by the state
Yeah! Breaking rules with no consequences is only for politicians, the President, the rich and powerful. The poors, however, dare not protest lest they get arrested, or lack "parenting" and require reeducation.
This gives me hope. At least there's some backbone in American academia, and people who figured out that SJWs feed on weakness. GIVE THEM NONE
These administrators are being more than reasonable. They had all been warned after one minute, enough said.
This guy is so patient and reasonable. I'd just have the cops come in and taze them all.
"We will shout, intimidate, and raise hell until our demands are met."
"But lol how we threatening tho?"
+Falstad007 Exactly. The pussies form a mob, yell and scream and threaten violence with what they want to believe is plausible deniability. Then they deny cry if anyone dares call them on it.

Jake Preston Yeah, ain't it great!
Personally I think they should have just threw them out of school so they stop interfering with the ones that are there to learn.
@@rbarnes4076They are not kids, they are adults. They will however act like kids for as long as YOU allow them to.

Literally everyone in that room but those 2 had the collective iq of an easy-bake oven.
I would not like to describe these children as "deplorable" collective idiocy. These are "I got a trophy because I participated, safe space, cry baby, soy latte paramecium"

Comedian Ron White said it best: "You can't fix stupid."

When you graduate, guess what? No Safe Spaces. Enough is enough.
The unemployment line or French fryer and McDonald's are definitely not safe spaces.
**cackling** hahaha yes please

Quite the contrary. They turn into wretched adults who complain about everyone trying to end careers.
K Mac WOW!! DID YOU SAY THAT OUT LOUD
Love how no not one comment is asking what the protest was for? Just blindly defending the administration.
Very interesting. One ten minute video where two guys are smooth talkers is enough to convince these people that they’re completely in the right.
Its funny how the right wingers in these comments didnt take a few seconds to check for context.
These students were protesting these admins hiding how the university was using its public funding.
They all make good sheep for corporate interests.

@@jackharvey7824 The building is literally closed. It is private property. What are you trying to argue?
@@jackharvey7824 I don't believe that the building being closed when the building is closed is a "cop-out" answer. None of those students had any business being in the building and even caused a scene inside. I don't know what happened afterwards but from the sounds of things they should've been carted off from the start.
@@jackharvey7824 As other sources have been posted, they caused a rather large scene literally less than an hour before filming. Also, "we aren't doing anything bad" isn't a valid reason to be allowed to stay in a closed academic building.
@@jackharvey7824 Also, why should the faculty be interested in "negotiation"? The building is closed. Those people just caused a large scene. They have no right to be in that building and, once again, should have been carted off by police then and there.

I think it’s the other side that impressed me. The way those students argued back was akin to middle schoolers in detention.
