It is illegal to say women could not play golf there before noon. I have to question if this story is true. In today's America, women would not stand for that.
Why would you question the veracity of the story? She's talking about an incident from the late 90s on private property. And she, as an attorney, would've had a sense of what skirted legal lines. You're just hatin.
A simple google search will reveal to you that is was and is still true. It is not a matter of legal or not. These are private clubs that set there own, bylaws and rules. The government has no jurisdiction over members who submit to those rules. Don't like it... don't pay to be a member.
