- Johnny Depp Amber Heard trial: Amber Heard diagnosed with borderline personality disorder by clinical psychologist. A clinical psychologist hired to review Amber Heard and Johnny Depp's relationship has claimed that the actress suffers from two personality disorders - and pointed out that symptoms of the disorders include 'taking on the personality' of loved ones and 'dressing like them' - days after Heard was accused of copying her ex-husband's courtroom outfits. Exes Heard, 35, and Depp, 58 - who tied the knot in 2015, and were married for one year before Heard filed for divorce in 2016 - have been battling it out in court in recent weeks.

Maybe she poisoned them with a hallucinogen or disociative drug and that's how she made Amber heard say what she wanted.... Pure logic, her husband is a drug dealer so she made him pick them up so he can lace them as she ran late probably due to a night of hard partying with her husband and his drugs.... it was her attempt to put over her own narrative by continuing to talk even when an objection was made and going off on a tangent when asked difficult questions that exposed the real AH. I am a clinical psychologist and professor as well as a researcher and practitioner. I began my adult life as a virtual orphan...I had to quit highschool my junior year to support myself..as a receptionist clerk in a law office. Here is how I became a licensed clinical psychologist: first I attended community college, a low cost option while I worked there as a student assistant for a dean there between my classes. Then I transferred with an associate degree to a four year college for my last two years of my bachelors degrees with honors in psychology and English literature.I went to a private university, the fifth ranked in the USA.I worked there also, first as a secretary, then a lecturer, research assistant and assistant professor teaching undergraduate and graduate students. I also developed and taught graduate courses.
I received my PhD then was assistant director of a state agency and became a professor , researcher, practitioner with a private practice and eventually a college and university administrator.
If I can do it, you can do it. What I had to do was be willing to live a very simple life to afford to get that much education. And I had to forgo a social life all my eight years of higher education. My nose was in the books.I knew I could get later to building a satisfying personal life and a family. But I had to wait to do that. It was WORTH it! I have had a satisfying intellectual life and a great personal life. I met a highly intelligent man and we have been very happy. Because he too was successful, we were able to retire early at 50 and 55 and have the FUN I went without in my 20s...we sailed ona 45ft sailboat in the CAribbean...great fun, we both grew up sailing. We traveled to to Europe bought and renovated a beautiful tropical home where we now live. I've had an idyllic life. It took sacrifice early on but I had the satisfaction of helping private clients, teaching, publishing research amd knowing I made a contribution to my field of study.
If you cannot study formally right now, here are some YT series you CAN watch many are the equivalent and actual subject matter of very fine university courses in psychology: first Robert Sapolsky's personality series at Stanford University, then Jordan Petersons several series on personality, then evolutionary psychology YT videos by David Busse at the University of Texas.
Go to my YT name and see my saved videos under psychology for a wide variety of YT videos on psychology.
Currently I am reviewing the most recent litererature on human sexuality. I had grad courses in it, but there has been a huge expansion in the field since then. The majority of my training was in clinical psychology,eg an entire course ln the adminostration and interpretation of the MMPI the test she discusses here, the diagnosis and treatment of serious mental conditions and illnesses like BPD as well as the study and measurement of intelligence.I did a years internship in a state mental hospital before being licensed.
Wishing you a long and happy life exploring the wonderful field of psychology.

@@latinaalma1947 Hey, thanks for your kind and encouraging words :)
I'm not concerned with "success" as it's often conceived of, but I like how your line of work is so directly helpful to people suffering internally!
I remember JD saying how much they had in common when they first met. She liked the same books as him etc. Now it all makes sense. She was mimicking him but couldn’t keep up the charade .
Yesss!
Riiggght?
The way they love bomb to hook you in is through mimicry. They mimic your empathy, your smile, your emotions, your interests, your spirituality, etc. then they drop it just as suddenly once they’ve sucked you in.
In Amber's testimony she notes "her art studio ", we all know it was Johnny 's studio.
BINGO
Omg if you already watched this trial to the end and then watch it again it is amazing how spot on Dr. Curry is in her diagnosis of Amber, unbelievable how detailed she was and how true it plays out.
I had a friend who had borderline personality disorder, and the way doctor Curry describes the behaviour of people with that disorder lines up a lot with how this former friend treated me. They even dropped me completely as a friend and blocked me on every platform when I said to them “I’m thinking of creating some distance or space between us because I’m finding things difficult”. He responded with “oh I guess we’re not friends anymore. I should have known. You could have told me this earlier”. And I said “I don’t mean not be friends I mean take a bit of a break so I can have a bit of space”. He’s all like “oh I understand. Looks like we’re not friends”. Me… uhh…. whut. Him… blocks me on everything.
I never even said I didn’t want to be his friend, I just wanted space. Years of me supporting him, trying to help him. Him telling me he’s going to hurt himself and me trying to convince him to not hurt himself, and then be told there’s nothing I can do… giving me the burden of thinking if he dies it will be my fault for not being able to help him and being the only one knowing he’s intending to do this. Years of being the only person standing up for him, letting him confide in me about all his problems and walking on eggshells to not bother him through my reactions.
Then he just drops me completely when I express something I need. That seems like the way people with BPD can act. It sucks they have this disorder and I can sympathise with that. But it’s also hard for people who are trying to help or appease them to feel constantly used, walked all over and eventually demonised and finally discarded as a “bad” person. I only ever tried to support this guy and he just treated me like garbage.
It makes me sad that to this day he still refuses to talk to me and acts like I’m dead, just for expressing the need for some breathing room. Folks with BPD often CANNOT tolerate the other person in the relationship having any needs. AT ALL. It’s totally unacceptable to them.
(Note: don’t wish to demonise people with BPD, so added some qualifiers like “can” act this way, and “often” do. I’m sure there’s people with BPD out there who are working on their condition and are mindful of their behavioural tendencies. As a person with sometimes severe depression I can relate to mental struggles. It’s just hard when those mental struggles can lead to the abuse of others)
I ain't reading all that. But I'm happy for you. Or sorry that happened
@@Snowboarding182 It’s a “sorry that happened” moment

@@Snowboarding182 I'm guessing you arent an avid reader of books? 🤔
Sir, you just described exactly how I felt my whole life with my sister! Both you and Dr. Curry. Help is something they sometimes do not want, and there ain't nothing you can do about it. At least you do not have to carry the burden of being their friend anymore, and I am sorry he treated you that way. I wish you the best in your life. Maybe it helps, as it did for me too, that this person doesn't understand the world in the same way, and you can't be mad at someone who doesn't understand the depth of their own responsibility. What you CAN do, is take this experience, learn from it and move on with your life, be better for it!

As a 62 yr old with BPD for most of my life I’ve learned many things about living with BPD ! Many people with a mental issue act as if they have no responsibility for their BPD behavior , some refuse to try & help themselves , they hide from their personal responsibility with drugs or alcohol or both . These people spend their whole life blaming anyone & everyone for screwing up their lives , this is sad & doesn’t have to be ! Those with BPD can educate themselves , they can learn personal triggers ,( people ,places & things that can cause them to lose control of their actions & emotions . Ex: one of my triggers is loud repetitive noises , this causes anger ! So I remove myself from those situations , it took years to learn something that simple …. Some BPD sufferers also tend to pick up & become like people they are around ex: when I was around a Irish Priest my family brought to my attention that I started having an Irish accent , I’m a Southern woman , so that was weird , another time it was witnessed that being in counseling , I started talking & acting like a real therapist , none of it intentional it just was ! Many BPD that I have known have some of these things happen in their lives ! I guess what my point is that Amber needs to own HER issues not try & blame others , once she helps herself then she can let this stuff rest & get help & educate herself so she can move on in her life !!

Godbless you. My sister has bpd, I hope she realizes her situation. your story gives me hope.
Listening to her diagnosis it made me question if I have this disorder because if I honestly reflect on myself I have acted in these ways before and I’m embarrassed about it, I started this new medication when I got diagnosed with epilepsy and it changed a lot of my mood issues I do suffer from anxiety and depression and I think that the medication actually helped with all these a lot of these things she mentioned that I noticed now I was doing, I don’t really do them anymore and my anger is basically gone but I was very clingy but I’m not sure if I should if I should get tested now that the medication has removed most of the issues anyway because medication is one of the treatments. I always questioned if I did have it but I didn’t know most of the symptoms she listed

Even Amber's flat affect throughout this entire court hearings is another sign, she's lost the remorse that many people with this personality usually have, this is dangerous and can explode in the worst possible way at any moment.
About histrionic personality disorder, another thing that we learn is that a lot of the time people with this personality use their sexuality and beauty to overpower another individual, most likely their lovers which it seems is very likely the case with amber heard and how she landed a man almost twice her age.
And many others Elon Musk and who knows who else Did she meet Harvey Winestine? The movie molester rapist in jail ...I don't think she'd blink about him grabbing her. SURE! hop on
Thank you for this info! Very well said.
I don't think you should make conclusions about people if they are not your patient / you weren't consulted.
@@soheil5710Dude, it's Hermione Granger ffs, have a little respect
Fascinating and sad. Hoping JD wins this 🙏 but just being brave enough to speak on the abuse as millions watch is incredible.
Johnny wins even of the jury doesn't see it that way. He needed to get this out to move forward.
This is a very clever and professional woman. She knows her stuff, she talks about it with a lot of confidence, and keeps a sober and unbiased posture.
Seems to me, towards the end of her cross examination, the attorney is a little speechless!!! Hahaha!!! This just came back and bit him (and Herd’s) in the ass!!!!
Are you talking about this particular video? This attorney? Becose his job was to allow the Dr to express every thought she had about this case. All of it. He did a fantastic job at allowing her to answer freely in a lot of ways.
after this trial I bet her business phone is ringing off the hook and she has a full inbox of unread messages from attorneys requesting her expertise for their clients. I'm sure the value of her time doubled or it will be a by a year post trial. pure dumb speculation on my end here.
That Psychologist did her job well! Maybe Amber will get herself some help.
She won't, she is too narrassistic to get help. She made it her life being pretty and manipulative behavior she won't stop she enjoys it. To get treatment she has to admit she has a problem and actually seek treatment and stay with it. Amber Heard will never get therapy due to her ego
I think Amber was getting help, but like Dr. Curry said, it is difficult to fix.
@@ghotiemama bpd is hard to fix because most people who have it have a normal quality of life and doesn't effect them , BPD effects others who they associate with because it drives everyone else crazy, irritated, belittled , abused. Why would someone seek help when it doesn't effect them. If you are a sympathetic person and see the destruction you cause maybe they will seek to change their behavior but mostly its super hard to do. Most bpd just get divorces , break up, don't have long lasting friendships, don't get along with family members and just move on from people to people.
It was very professional and knowledgeable speech. Well done I’m really impressed. I wish I could a course with you and learn more about those diagnoses. Wish it best luck DR x
Yes she does. Was brought up by one of them. You can tell, as Amber continually looks down on the 'expert' - as if they are a slave or a child.
Seems an apt diagnosis.
Title is inaccuate. When a PhD Clinical Forensic Psychologist makes a diagnosis that's what it is -- a diagnosis. Not a "claim"
They have to add that for legal reasons. Same reason the media always states "allegedly" after describing acts or crimes someone is accused of committing.
AH, "I use BPD and NPD synonymously with well balanced....that is correct"
That was fascinating.
She came across really well didn’t she?
Also, WTF is with that Virginia standard? Standing with a spear, victorious over a guy with his crown beside his head looking all Ancient Greek? You know you had no Ancient Greeks in Virginia right? Does it represent victory over tyranny? Truth over tyranny?
Virtue over Tyranny. They knew they weren't really ancient Greeks, it was just common to use a personification to represent an idea. The Statue of Liberty is a female representation of Liberty, for example. Columbia is a female representation of the United States.
It's liberty defeating the tyrant (English king). Sic semper tyrannis.
she's beautiful and very intelligent
why bring her looks into it?

I love psychology and could listen and learn from this amazing woman all day, go JD!!!
She certainly does!
Amber was a nobody until she got with Johnny, and even then everyone was like 'Amber who?'. Johnny has a history of drug and alcohol abuse, and has never tried to deny that. However, he does NOT have a reputation for being a wife beater. Amber, however, DOES have a reputation for being short fused, and physically abusive - she had cops called on her for beating her ex wife. She also has yet to present any evidence in court of him actually abusing her. She's got plenty video and voice clips of him inebriated, sure, but where is the proof of abuse? If she loses this case The Post should sue her for the money they paid for that op-ed because it was full of lies.
I love this woman. A great doctor with the greatest curriculum ever. And she is so beautiful .
Those are the kind of woman we the "johnny's " need
I could listen to her talk all day
“Needs …intensive life-long therapy.” Case closed.
It sux that Amber has suffered in her life and this is the outcome.
I hope parents and carers are taking heed and wondering how they can make sure this doesn’t happen to their own children.
Being present, practicing consideration, consistency, care and kindness will go along way. Omitting the influence of dramatised television, ignorance, bad role modelling and all round despicable and unkind behaviour will be of service to children…who will soon become our future.
Yo , are you guys seeing what im seeing?? Start at 44:55 Dr Curry describing Amber disorder incredibly accurate of her testimony if anyone has been watching and inspecting her!
Exactly why I came back to watch it again. I saw it live on the day but now, after seeing AH testimony, it is so SPOT ON!
@@Tisula1 Yeah it's incredible how accurate she was. That's when you know she's an amazing psychologist ! @___@
One beam of light in the entire courtroom, and it’s directly on Johnny…. By chance?🤔…I think not
What's difficult with BPD is that these people have a VERY difficult time managing their disorder, making them in actuality a victim themself. Therefore it is very hard to blame or critize these people because they often are unable to acknowledge and accept their faults as Dr. Curry explained.
I hope she seeks help after this, if not it will all be a tragedy.
I have BPD and it's a very difficult battle to live with Its took me around 17years to learn how to manage it I have a lot of bad days but I also have some really great days because I've learnt to be open about it with people and I use art and gardening to express those feelings it's very difficult to live a normal life but I just take it day by day now as it's less pressure ... There's no magic cure but I believe you can get help but you need to help yourself just as much .
Bro these disorders don’t make people, fight, abuse, pick at, and name call people. Being mentally unstable is one thing but purposely lying, abusing, scheming, and provoking someone is not. They just use that as an excuse to keep doing what there doing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a case like this, where someone is blatantly lying like this.
Ummmm……. there is medication for BPD.
@@adamsheriff2468 That's literally what BPD does. They can't self-regulate and have to do a lot of hard to work to learn to do that. There's also medication that helps them.
@@Falconlibrary what's that medication
They should have waited longer for this doctor to testify. She is dead on.
Edit: happy they brought her back in the reiterate what's wrong with AH.
This is totally irrelevant to this case but there is something so beautiful and endearing about this woman.
I know she's highly intelligent and skilled in her field but I watch this and keep noticing her natural beauty and great energy
Amber has crazy death glances
Amber proved this woman correct when she took the stand and literally did everything she described as characteristics of both of these disorders.
I noticed that! I had thought after this testimony Heard would make a better attempt to hide it. 🤷🏼♀️
@@JaneKelly32 she can't hide it. That's the point I also made with my comment lol. The fact that she's incapable of hiding her mental disorders is the truest sign that she has mental disorders. We don't need degrees in psychology to see through Amber Heard. She's a very messed up individual. I feel so sorry for Johnny Depp for having to have lived through her bullying him for so long. Poor guy.
@@JaneKelly32 Camille got it all on show, she was amazing. It was like Dr.Curry’s testimony came to life.
Completely amazing how accurate these tastings are.
Every time I take a personality test it could change from day to day how I’m feeling. I assume this is the case for the majority of people. Not all answers are different but quite a few could be. To filter through all the answers to a diagnosis is awesome.
Make me want to get tested.
This is interesting to watch again, AFTER, Amber’s testimony!
