Being a INTJ is stressful sometimes. Its takes me much long to time to do small tasks because I'm analysing a lot. It's like I spend half to one hour before ordering a pizza, analysing all the toppings and size.
I'm an infp, I'm constantly imaging things or laughing at some situation i created in my head, my parents think I'm crazy, but now I realize more people do the same, so it's good
@An Meme oh no, i like creating charapters, it's like writing a book in my head (i like writing), imaginating things about real people would probably make me feel uncomfortable 😅
For everyone who sees this: The Meyers Briggs test is based on objective reality on ur current state. You can technically change slightly over time. However usually u are inclined to make certain decisions. Obviously you are also always capable of doing something else
@@문영-r9s I disagree because people have life changing events that shift perspective leading to personality changes/shifts. Were you saying people can develop into different types over time? That seems like a more fair assessment
@@dooware6644 Personality types can change. Cognitive functions rarely do. Cognitive functions are highly influenced by genetics, and they're mostly determine at birth. The way your brain processes information and stimuli will not change because of events, traumatic or not. Your personality might, and that is why the 16 Personalities site is highly flawed, because it types people by personalities, rather than cognitive functions. The 16 Personalities website is actually typing people by the Big 5 types, then portraying it as Myers Briggs. Actual cognitive functions is completely different than personality.
Go letter by letter. Are you an introvert or an extrovert? Do you prefer to look at the reality and facts (sensor) or do you tend to go much deeper while researching a topic? (Intuitive). @@lubielemingi9760 well enfp's usually rebel against their own type because they think they're not socially extraverted. That is true in some degree because their strongest function is extraverted intuition, which is more focussed on potential and ideas of their own instead of people. They tend to have no problems with communicating with strangers, but they arent extremely social, thats why they're often misstyped as infp and vice versa.
From what I can gather, me and my father are INFJs, my mom is an ESFJ, my sister is an ENFP and my little brother is an INTJ. It's really interesting to see how you can categorize people in your life based on cognitive functions
But it's you who is perceiving them from your personality eyes. The right way is the individual should themselves go through a professional assessment - or at least MTBI assessment. No other person can deduce the MTBI personality of others just by living or watching them.

under appreciated, used, abused, demeaned, misunderstood, always hiding myself from others so they dont get creeped out, feel evil when i cant take stuffin' anymore and have to call it out, i get creeped out when i feel evil radiating from others bc, on top of beiing an infj-t, my intuition is classified as heyoke and im necropathic on top of that. i understand the physiology behind it and can explain it in a scientific way ad how it works but, try getting someone to stay in 1 place when you can tell them somethings about to happen or someone just died horribly, and you can give details; especially after everything you tell them will happen, happens. i require a long time to heal, often and keep a zoo to drown out all the aweful
@@redonmyvalentino0802 the -T and -A are only used in the 16 personalities test which isnt very accurate. it would be better if you used the sakinorva test or researched myers-briggs cognitive functions and self-typed based on what you find resonates with you the most, rather than letting the test determine it.
And why would they do that? A real ENTP is very curious in general, he is not only interested in himself. To understand the ENTP means to also understand the other types, from my perspective.
As an INFP, I agree that I am very imaginative and I love contemplating the meaning of life and the universe, but I'd have to give a big no on the superstitious part. I mean sure I look for symbols and their meaning and all that but I do it because I find them interesting. And because my mind allows me to imagine things that may seem completely absurd to others. It's not really a 'superstitious' thing though. And we actually do things besides daydreaming. We're called Mediators for a reason.
Yesss!! that's exactly what I was thinking when I watching the video!! I'm not superstitious! I like to understand the meaning of things around me. And we INFP have an amazing inner world, and also we like to think for the best for those around us. And much more. I think simply categorize us as surperstitions is completely wrong

Dude ENTPs aren't that rare I mean just cause there's apparently 3% of us it doesn't mean you're not going to meet an Entp I mean it's 3% of a population of billions. I'm saying this because I myself have met so many ENTPs okay maybe about 4 or 5 of some of the people that I have made take the test. Yeah I feel that, I got INTJ. I agreed with this result at first, but still thought something was off. Then I retook the test and for each question, thought of how Ive acted in each of these situations in the past. The first time I took it, I speed through and didn't think too much about it. This time I got INFJ, although the two are fairly similar. My point is, don't guess how you'd act in these situations, look back on how you've actually acted and go from there.

I am definitely ENTP, knew this before from doing the MBTI test. First degree in Psychology, second degree I am currently studying for is Software Engineering. Goal is to develop AI in new ways, mainly develop human like AI's to help out physical and mental health professionals, lonely people, elderly and anyone in need of it really. I think a lot of people can relate that sometimes we need someone to be there for us, and medical professionals need all the help they can get. Debating is one of my hobbies to hone my thinking and expand my learning.
Since most of the popular online MBTI tests are based on percentages of whether you're more introverted/extroverted and intuitive/sensing etc., there's a lot of misinformation about the personality test. MBTI is based on the cognitive functions, which are as follows: introverted intuition (Ni), extroverted intuition (Ne), introverted sensing (Si), extroverted sensing (Se), introverted feeling (Fi), extroverted feeling (Fe), introverted thinking (Ti), and extroverted thinking (Te). That four-letter code like ENTJ or ISFJ is a "code" for these cognitive functions. For example, ENTJ doesn't exactly mean extroverted, intuitive, thinking, and judging; instead, it means Te-Ni-Se-Fi. But other than that, I think the general descriptions for each of the different types in this video were spot on :D
Can you guys please discuss the cognitive functions for another video, the validity of the mbti is usually questionable when these variables aren’t taken into account.
Thank you! Not a single mention of actual functions in this video! Without cognitive functions, it's just a personality test from a popular teen magazine, with a bunch of stereotypes and generalizations.
People always *claim* this, but I've yet to see any reasonable backing for the function theory yet (and I've been into mbti for years). It's mostly tumblr blogs throwing out info about the functions as far as I've seen, and one neuroscientist who never got peer reviewed. It seems no one can agree on specific definitions for the functions either; everyone makes their own claims about what they are, based on nothing but their own perceptions. So... I'm pretty skeptical of the validity of functions. Just because it makes the theory more complex doesn't necessarily make it more accurate.
@@jaeelise9369 This isn't the depth of the theory, this is the theory itself. The functions were made before the actual types. You see different definitions because one function is not just one skill, it's something huge and difficult to explain. I have personally experienced each and every one of these functions, and I can say that they're very complex. I think the most accurate descriptions of the functions are the ones made by Carl Jung himself. The reason why the letters are wrong, is because no one is 100% intuitive or sensor, feeler or thinker etc. Everyone uses each of them, just at different paces. It's complex to understand but once you do, you do it well.
Jae Elise I trust Dario Nardi’s book the most when it comes to the theory. A lot of times mbti is used to box people in but with his work he debunks a lot of the stereotypes with the theory of the 3 selves in the first couple pages and he made room to state the limits mbti has in relation to gauging our whole personality.
however, if they get to far into it they'll be confronted with cliches and than our subconscious will just pick the one we like best, that's the reason why even though i think i'm an INTP I'm constantly questioning it because i don't trust my own judgement
@@emilypiens2355 True! I also got the INTP type as a result on a MBTI test. I read about my type and I was fascinated because they literally described how my mind works. BUT I am also aware of the fact that the true thinker is always questioning everything so it could be a sign that we truly are the thinker type. We could question even the whole test and it's accuracy but that is a whole new question...

The big problem with self-typing is that everyone does everything, by outhers you can clearly see what they are like most of the time but if your subconcious likes to be an extrovert you could be the most introverted person alive but your mind will filter all the situations where you acted extroverted becouse no one is 100% introvert The conclusion is that People suck at typing them self so get some outside input
As an INTJ relate to the definition of my type in this video. I actually enjoy meticulously planning and solving things, which is highly controversial as being a detective and a mastermind criminal both sound appealing.
TBH that is just a picture of a guy that evokes the wise but slightly absent minded professor/teacher archetype, grey haired and wrinkled. It kind of does remind of Einstein because Einstein was a genius and INTJs are regarded as one of the (if not THE) most intelligent type. But all in all, it's just illustration.
Personality type has absolutely nothing to do with intelligence. This notion probably comes with the trope of the crazy scientist/nerd/awkward genius who excel in STEM subjects, which is so often associated with INTP (INTJ probably being the evil, cold and genius mastermind). This stereotyping is quite harmful, not to mention that there are numerous types of intelligence. I'm INTP by the way.
Hi everyone. Who all actually took the test? 🤔🙋♀️ I’m INFP, but this video makes me sound superstitious where I’m not really at all. I’m more just questioning truth, you know?
Came to this video so I could write down notes about mbti types so I had personality traits/qualities to work with for the characters in my story. Got side tracked reading the comments and just being in awe at how much complex vocabulary are being used.
INFJ!! 💛 I would say that I was described accurately. I'm pretty weird and dorky, and can really say the dumbest things sometimes! I however think about the world very differently and will spend hours just contemplating different ideas. And while I'm really fascinated with the world, I also care deeply about the people I share it with and will advocate for them fiercly in the times needed.
You seem to me more of an INFP, using Introverted Feeling and Extroverted Intuition over Introverted Intuition and Extroverted Feeling. I suggest doing a research on cognitive functions.
There is no middle. It's either or... then realizing life isn't like that. I feel everything. I observe & pick up on things unsaid & I'm scarily accurate 100% of the time. Sometimes I feel unsure, but I'm never wrong. 1st instinct and my cat has never failed me the way people have.
As a INFJ I actually look pretty ordinary. I tend to put on makeup and pick up my outfits in a pretty minimalistic way. I feel like appearance is actually useless in the grand scheme of things.
Demi I know, right? It’s actually scary how my gut feelings and logic are usually right. But sometimes I over analyze and wonder if my line of reasoning actually holds water.
Hello yes, debating to hone my thinking and expand my learning. Definitely a revolutionary, 1st degree in Psychology, studying for a 2nd degree in Software Engineering to develop AI in new ways. took a quiz, said I could either be a intp or istp, but I kinda take from both personality type traits edited 7 months later: Now I know mbti more in depth and I do believe that I am an intp. I've studied the cognitive functions of not only the intp, but other types as well and found that the intp personality type is most compatible to me.
It's really surprising how little ISTP personality types are out there. But I think it's probably the most consistent. I've taken this test many times and I have consistently had this personality type.
This video is quite inaccurate. While many points are true, as a video that's 11 minutes and 36 seconds long describing *16* personality types WITH the title saying, "Which one are you?" it's quite uninformative and only telling you what you want to hear.
I appreciate how you mentioned how ENFJs are highly futuristic and always think ahead because my mind is always on a clock to complete things on a list. This has made me highly studious and responsible but whenever the plan changes without me knowing in advance, I tend to not handle it well. 😅 It can also prevent me from being present in the moment since I am always waiting for what comes next.
@@13fishermen49 Honestly the thing is that that changes with every study you look at. These are relatively small percentages and the sample sizes of these studies are too small, add to that that many of the people are going to be wrongly typed (I. E. heard somewhere that they met a lot of people that were wrongly typed as INTPs specifically) and that this also seems to be nation specific. Combining all that I think we can Co clude that these 'facts' are nothing more than a general guideline, at least when it comes to low percentages we only can say that the Infj seems to be the rarest wherever these studies were, and a number of other types are clustered above them at ~2-5%. INTPs are, among other types, in there. Not that being rare is really something to be proud of. One should be proud of what he does/did - or is capable of when he's starting his live -, not because *yay in rare*. Everybody (well almost I guess) is bound to be rare in some quality or another, it doesn't make you better.
Well, I don't think it the "rarity" matters. We're not Pokémon, and rarity in humans is hard to handle. As a female INTJ (quite rare) I've always suffered bullying, specially from other girls because how different I was. Girls are supposed to be bubbly, emotional and warm and I'm silent, logical and quite cold without noticing or pretending. I really have troubles trying to get along with others and most of the time I just feel I don't fit anywhere outside my inner world full of projects and thoughts. I know how people and social dynamics work in theory but in practical scenarios I fail every time. I really suck at doing and keeping friends because I need constant isolation and nobody seems to get my points or personality or comprehend what I need... And my INTP sister also knows it because she've lived something similar. So yeah, being different and "rare" maybe is cool on the internet, but irl is an easy way to be hated, isolated and mistreated

I completed 5 tests on different sites, and i repeated 3 times each one. Every single one showed I'm an intj and although i fit the 'description' a lot, i still have my doubts. I even checked the functions, yet I can't be satisfied. I decided to check my Enneagram too and i fit the '5w6'. In the end, my conclusion was that every one of us is apparently too complex and "special" making it nearly impossible to completely fit into a premade "label".
I also fit the enneagram 5w6 but you should only trust the cognitive functions test since the 16 personalities+others are very inaccurate actually and they are too stereotypical. Everytime I go on the 16 personalities test I get INTP but when I did the cognitive functions test I got dominant Ne function and I turned out to be an ENFP instead. Turns out I'm definatrky an ENFP because the traits suit me more lol
My personality tests also reveal intj. However, apparently these are genuis people. I don't score above 80 % in school. Im around the 70's which I'm aware isn't bad at all, but i wouldn't consider it genuis. Then again, I don't know if high-school is an accurate indicator of intelligence. Another thing making me doubt is my sense of humor. I notice a lot of memes insinuate intjs don't have any sense of humor. I laugh at my own jokes too often for that. However, all the shitty traits of my personality definitely fit the intj's description perfectly.
To belong to a type means you got the cognitive functions stacks associated with the name. But descriptions are the average of behavioural outcomes people of one particular type often observe. I believe each INTJ is unique. Their cognitive functions can lead to so many different decisions. And you also may be mistyped. I've gotten INTJ result so many times, turns out I'm not.
I'm an INTP too but I really hate anything that has to do with complex mathematics lol. Anything past basic arithmetic is like rocket science for me, and I currently have Algebra so my life is hell at the moment
INFP-T, "The Mediator" (said to be only 4% of the population that have it)according to the 16 personalities website, I really like the description that they gave, hit alot of points. Currently in "hermit mode" as they say. :p Loved the video by the way!
TobyDaKing That's me too! By the way, if anyone's wondering what the extra letter from that site is, T is for turbulent (I'm INFP-T) and the A is for assertive.
I've done the official Myers Briggs test for work and a bunch of them online. Each one says I'm definitely INTJ. Touted as one of the rarest peronsalities, we the female INTJs. Cool beans! Thing is, I don't think always overthink everything, and I'm one of those introverts who doesn't mind meeting up with people if I can learn something valuable from them. I do like order, but some disorder doesn't phase me really. If you mess my stuff up, I may ... will plot against you though. No one really thinks I'm an introvert mainly because people flock to me and I can communicate easily. I remind them that introversion and shyness are not synonymous. Some introverts may be shy but not all of us are. I do need to go home to my quiet space after a day of dealing with people. Last year, after the lockdown when we returned to the office, I had to retreat to the washroom to regroup. The inundation of people was just too much! I love my small circle of friends, but then I need to leave them and come home to be by myself.
I read somewhere that they make up only 2-3% of the population, which is quite rare. I've never met a confirmed ENFJ before but they seem very kind and giving

The Meyers Briggs test is based on objective reality on ur current state.

That’s what the cognitive stack is. There’s no one or other, it’s just which functions you use more.
Do you make actions based on your emotions or based on logic? (F or T). Do you value traditions, be well organized, have strict plans? (J) Or are you spontaneous and dont mind if a plan gets changed? Debating is one of my hobbies to hone my thinking and expand my learning.
as an intp i totally relate.
Very interesting :)
THANK YOU!!!

@@julijav186 yes, but all the analysts would think of that, i'm quite certain that i'm not ESFJ for example, however i always wonder if i would ben one of the outher types, i also first got INFP but now i always get INTP which doesn't do my questioning any good to be honest, however my suroundings agree that i'm definitly not F becouse my T is quite dominant which would aline with my cognitieve functions which i bealeve to be Ti/Ne but than i wonder maybe it's Ne/Ti which makes me ENTP or even Ni/Ti which technicly is INFJ but with a more dominant thinking traid
The big problem with self-typing is that everyone does everything, by outhers you can clearly see what they are like most of the time but if your subconcious likes to be an extrovert you could be the most introverted person alive but your mind will filter all the situations where you acted extroverted becouse no one is 100% introvert
The conclusion is that People suck at typing them self so get some outside input
I heard that INFJ is the most rare Myers Briggs personality type
Hooray for me!
I get that too, but I sometimes get INTJ.
Aye INFJ gang
Right here!
It's a common myth. ENFJs are actually the most rare type, especially ENFJ men. Believe what you want though.
Craig B I thought INTJ women were the most rare.
As an INTJ relate to the definition of my type in this video. I actually enjoy meticulously planning and solving things, which is highly controversial as being a detective and a mastermind criminal both sound appealing.
I'm an INTJ too ,no one could stop me from asking questions!
INTP here, Albert Einstein belongs to y type, yet he is pictured with the INTJ type here
TBH that is just a picture of a guy that evokes the wise but slightly absent minded professor/teacher archetype, grey haired and wrinkled.
@zeren xavier i agree (intj) 😁
@zeren xavier on average... (INTP here...)
Same here
Funny how all ENTPs thought at the "You'll never probably meet an ENTP" well here I am!

@@enchantedlakes-2150 Definitely will do!
ENTP here and we will debate to the very end. Also I’m a Gemini so honestly talking is my ultimate gift/downfall
I’m not alone!
Hello yes, debating to hone my thinking and expand my learning. Definitely a revolutionary, 1st degree in Psychology, studying for a 2nd degree in Software Engineering to develop AI in new ways. Goal is to create more human like AI to help out, for example an AI that can hold a conversation to help lonely people feel less isolated. See where it goes.
Jenkkimie honestly I have huge dreams too especially in space travel and the exploration of space!
Shit poodle I’m a visionary too lol
Lol same
I am an ESFP and not and ESPF. As an ESPF🤣 (ESFP)I find this video quite informative. But also ESFP I find it difficult to hold lengthy conversations since concversations are most of the time draining for me. Thank you for not labeling ESFP’s as loud people and party animals.
This ALMOST feels like an experiment to see how changing the descriptions slightly changes how people identify. ENFP sounds a little like ENTJ usually does, and ENTP sounds a lot like INFJ usually does.
Are there any ISFPs here?
No? Okay...
(And yes, this is very accurate.)
Right, here! 👋

Guess I'm Shakespeare hiii
Guess I'm Shakespeare but your name is shakespeare and I guess it falls under the mediator... and me my first one was adventurer or isfp but then i tried it again and it was mediator.. mediator and adventurers are like close
@@dontmindemeimjustdoingmybu3185 I am no where near mediator. I would be surprised if I'd be in any other personality type. My name is Shakespeare cause I write 24/7. I am the definition of artist. took a quiz, said I could either be a intp or istp, but I kinda take from both personality type traits
edited 7 months later: Now I know mbti more in depth and I do believe that I am an intp. I've studied the cognitive functions of not only the intp, but other types as well and found that the intp personality type is most compatible to me.
It's really surprising how little ISTP personality types are out there. But I think it's probably the most consistent. I've taken this test many times and I have consistently had this personality type.
I got so confused when she said ESPF like wth
This video is quite inaccurate. While many points are true, as a video that's 11 minutes and 36 seconds long describing *16* personality types WITH the title saying, "Which one are you?" it's quite uninformative and only telling you what you want to hear.
I appreciate how you mentioned how ENFJs are highly futuristic and always think ahead because my mind is always on a clock to complete things on a list. This has made me highly studious and responsible but whenever the plan changes without me knowing in advance, I tend to not handle it well. 😅 It can also prevent me from being present in the moment since I am always waiting for what comes next.
facts
INTP in proud ^^
We're the second rarest from all 16 personalities.
Well actually no. INFJ, ENTJ and INTJ are rarer
Like Edward said, INFJs are the rarest, followed by INTJs and ENTJs.
Third, actually.
Some people's personality is so complicated that even they themselves are like.. I'm INEJ but i'm ESTP too but sometimes I go like INFP but minutes later I go to my ENTJ mode...
I'm an ISTP.
Why do you keep calling ESFP as ESPF?
This is the only ISTP comment I found and it’s not even about ISTP
Maybe they cant identify themselves

I completely agree with you.
Me an INTP who is stupid... Yes we exist 😭
I'm smart, just lack common sense a lot of the time.
I'm an INTP too but I really hate anything that has to do with complex mathematics lol. Anything past basic arithmetic is like rocket science for me, and I currently have Algebra so my life is hell at the moment

Wow I'm INFP T
ENFJ's are very rare, and I'm proud to be one of them! ☺️
Rae Marie I’m one of them to
I read somewhere that they make up only 2-3% of the population, which is quite rare. I've never met a confirmed ENFJ before but they seem very kind and giving
