    I like to give any mushroom I see a friendly, gentle few taps on the cap. I heard it drops spores so more can grow.

    Eastern white pine needle tea is great and is also better than orange juice for its high vitamin c content ' unfortunately it's not a native tree to the UK But that said! You do get some growing wild in the UK that where brought here if you're lucky enough to find one ' I think it's great what you to do as it's educational for people to see about the wild more ' personally I don't like mushrooms lol 😆 but I do wild Herbalism here ' I get some wild weeds for medicines I make ' I use wild milk thistle seeds as a tea as it's got over 34 properties that can get rid of lung disease and lots more ' I like watching your mushroom videos as there's a lot of dangerous ones out there so it's interesting to see you explain them on here ' I see lots of mushrooms when I'm out but I don't eat them as I prefer my meat lol 😆

    Interesting to see you foraging for mushrooms. What do you do about rubbish and recycling stuff?

    • @loghoppers
      @loghoppers  17 дней назад +4

      We put it in a bin like normal humans and carry our rubbish out like a badge of honour. It's a moment of pride carrying a rubbish bag out. Always. HAPPY HOPPING 👌🏼 👍🏼

    2:22 I was just thinking, with what you said about the first mushroom, about steak. Well, it'd go down well with a bit of hedgehog, like the old Roma gypsies did. Are you both Roma?

    • @loghoppers
      @loghoppers  2 месяца назад +2

      No Cully, we're just Nomads. But we do know a fair few Roma from our travels and some good friendships too. HAPPY HOPPING 👌🏼 👍🏼

    I didnt know you could eat comfrey. I use it to nourish veg on allotment. Do you steam it?

    • @loghoppers
      @loghoppers  3 месяца назад +2

      Steam, fry, boil. Best finely chopped. But Russian comfrey has a blue flower and excellent for plant food, grows from cutting of roots and is pretty awesome for external use (hip jip) best eating for us is the common comfrey with pink or white flowers as has less potent properties. HAPPY HOPPING 👌🏼 👍🏼

    Thanks for the post, really informative.
    Do you dry mushrooms in the tent? How long does it take to dry mushrooms?

    • @loghoppers
      @loghoppers  2 месяца назад +2

      @ilanakali1030 we have dried them in the past, but just too delicious to save, must eat NOW! Lol.
      Drying times, all depend on what mushrooms and the weather, fog, rain sun etc etc. So best just to pick what you need and cook them up. HAPPY HOPPING 👌🏼 👍🏼

    I never knew Tara smoked, do usually see in vidz from you guys. Only mentioning, as i wonder how you can 'nip to the shop for cigis' if your camping up in the woods. i always think of these thinks. lol. like when frugal ppl say they only buy from charity shops, i always think, where do they get underwear from? lol im weird xx

    • @loghoppers
      @loghoppers  14 дней назад +3

      We both do, we're not hermits lol, we visit shops and re stock etc. We try to coexist with both sides, but obviously the outdoors is our environment and no tobacco plants in the wild lol... so a shop will have to do lol. HAPPY HOPPING 👌🏼 👍🏼
