Prebooked tickets have always been a tenner, even before Covid. It used to be a fiver on the door at weekends but you ran the risk of being turned away on a busy weekend. You used to be able to swap the rubber key rings for a drink making parking more or less free. The tenner parking only applies to Friday nights and weekends and events. Outside of that it’s free. I’m a fan of the place. I’m not too far away so go reasonably regularly.
Top work James looking forward to seeing the others and a great place for you to do some features on the best of the randoms.......before Covid it was fair enough to charge as it got so busy but now its limited spaces and more than half empty bit rich but still always worth a visit .
Looking forward to seeing and hearing more about of these little hidden cafe’s 👍🏼 Totally agree with the parking comment! They should at least give the parking receipt and be able to use it as a £10 off food voucher even if it had a minimum spend of £20 at least it’s still generating income into the business. Just a thought 🤷🏽♂️.
I live 2 miles down the road from this place, going there atleast once a week. During the week days you dont have to book and pay a fee which is nice :)
Great to see you there mate and great idea/vid too. I'm looking forward to seeing the feature on Clayton's little pocket rocket. That GT4 looked stunning as well... hahahaha! :P
Cars and food.........Nice topic to cover. It's a bit out of your way but The Ponderosa near Llangollen in North Wales is well worth a visit. You won't regret the journey once you get there and the surrounding roads are a driver's dream.
Hopefully be calling in on the Sunday after my drive back from Birmingham to London after visting the nec classic car show.Be my first time always wanted to visit but has I live in London fair drive so any excuse to pop in this time.Only issue is my car is in for some warranty work so hopefully I get the Jag back before my trip otherwise they are letting me have a curtesy car until then but not sure what that will be lol.
Any plans to visit Hartside Cafe? A must IMO with one of the best sections of driving road in the Uk. The cafe burnt down a few years back but always full of bikers and car enthusiats and the owners have big plans apparently. If you do venture up that way your more than welcome to try/ do a video on my E36 M3 Evo Coupe.
Never heard of it! Certainly give it a look if it has some decent driving roads & thanks for the offer of the e36 experience - been passenger in one years ago but only casual driving so certainly curious 😬 be great to get some pics of them together & give me a tour of the area 👍
Interesting comment about the parking, especially seeing people mixed about it. Coming from a community that won't think twice spending thousands on their car. A tenner seems like nothing for a car meet that's got food, drink and chill vibe, that won't end up having the police involved. That's just my take though.
I can see it from both sides, C&M are laughing all the way to the bank with parking, drinks & food especially as that £10 only gets you 3 hours lol so fair play to them but it’s the only “cafe/pub” I have ever paid to park in where the restaurant owns the car park. It’s a cool place but for me no more special than other cafes I’ve been to in the grand scheme of things - would love to finish this series with me owning/Running a cafe 😬 would have a full entertainment meeting point, Go kart track, RC car track, driving sims, projectors playing moto GP/ F1 with live DJ/ music 😎
tenner to park! That is absolutely ridiculous, definitely wont be going there. Seems a bit too pretentious for me. Great vid tho, get back on that 748 project.
It's a tenner 2 Park but you get a fiver refund 2 spend on food & drink, your paying for the occasion & it means it's not overcrowded, I went today & really enjoyed it
It’s awesome here I work as one of the chefs it’s great seeing what cars come in everyday so many different ones it’s awesome

Apparently the key ring can be used for a drink - would help if they told me that 😅 but yes it is steep especially if your eating there too!
Went there in ‘22 and already booked again for July ‘23. Such a great place.
Btw: love this series of automotive cafes.
Also went in ‘24 🎉
A great place! It’s good that they take payment as it ensures it doesn’t get too rammed. Also spotted a row of Renaultsports parked up there 🙌🏼
Today I was there for first time and I'm 20m away with my r26 and was the only one there

I think I saw your bwm today when I left by the way

Shall get some drone footage when we go to wales 😎
Yeah more cafés please that's where it all goes on at the Cafe? 👌🏻👍🏻

That ones been recommended to me previously so sounds like it’s worth a visit when I’m next in Wales 😬
You can redeem the keyring you get given on entrance for any drink which is part of the booking fee for future reference. 👍🏼

Certainly worth popping in if your in the area just make sure you book if going on a weekend as sunny days it sells out quickly 👍

Hey, you guys should definitely check out Five Zeros Supercars in Bradford-on-Avon, they would make a great edition to this series.
That does look cool! Shall keep that in mind if I’m in the area 😬
A tenner is ok when u go once a year👌
£10 to park your car in there, no thanks 😊. Good to see me old mate Sanj 😎
Gonna get Sanj on some more videos, he is funny so hopefully capture some gold moments 😅
How much, wtf :0 Great bud as usual bud
It's amusing the amount of prestige car owners who wince at a tenner to enjoy such an epic venue...
It doesn't exist for free. It's not a charity
Are you able to park anywhere or are you told where to go by the marshals?
Generally you can choose where you want to park but I have seen the marshals point to spaces.

But beware the gravel that throws up dust when dry.......usually need to wash the car after a visit also your shoes.
Yea noticed that when driving out the dust cloud 😱
Try the car crowd at Nottingham
Shall add it to the list 👍

Yea it is steep especially if you are ordering food/ drinks.. parts have arrived for the 748 - just need to get stuck in 😅

@@pauldavies7251 every time I’ve been they have never told me I have a £5 credit to use on food/ drink - must not want me to come back 😅
Hopefully b
