awesome, thats a beautiful bike. friend had one pre 2000, when the price was ok, in nz bike prices and parts are high. thanks heaps for the content. enjoy your post.
The white Sheene bikes look nice but for me the red, black & yellow Heron colours were always what I associate Sheene with & I think it's a better colour combo. But, that's just my view.
This was a bike I allways wanted, I saw them in my local dealership and loved them, at the time I could never afford them and had only just got my first bike so wasn't flash with cash, I also wanted a kawasaki kr1s to,, although I suspect the suzi would just have edged it out in performance and handling , trouble is these bikes have short up in price , too many people willing to shell out over the odds on them unfortunately..dam. oh well I can dream.
@stone automotive do you ever work on bikes or cars that just fight you? Do you get what I mean by that?. They just put up a fight no matter how you treat them. 🙄
@@stoneautomotive I thought that was just my luck,, oh I see I just dropped my bike last week after getting it resprayed, I'm seriously thinking of selling it it's given me nothing but trouble, in 20 plus years of bike ownership I have never had as much issues with any bike as this one.
There’s been a few manufactures but the problem is there eye watering expensive for us regular 2 stroke lovers 😭 www.langenmotorcycles.co.uk/motorcycles/two-stroke
I’ve really enjoyed it, most half decent burgers cost more than they charge and they do a good smash burger, really impressed with the new style & food but of course it’s only an opinion 👍 £13 quid for burger, chips and drinks is the price of McDonald’s nowadays - any suggestions for good motorbike spots/ food that you rate?
Stunning machine, you can have any modern sports bike but if you pull up at a meet on a Sunday on this you will be the coolest cat in town
100% agree 😎
@@stoneautomotiveindeed I had one once turn heads wherever they are 👍🇦🇺

As far as I can remember Sheene wasn’t a road bike rider. I am sure though he would of liked to have this beauty in his garage.
nice bike
In High School there was a girl with one of these, we could only dream, and then she got a GFX400RR as well. Crazy bikes that worth fortunes today.
2 stroke values have gone crazy, miss my old RS250!
@@stoneautomotive That's a millionaire's bike now

Yea 2 strokes in general have gone mad price wise, can see why people pay it as they are very cool 👌👌👌

@@stoneautomotive yeah I love two strokes but unfortunately people paying over the odds pushes up prices 😕

Can i ask who did the welding on the frame bracket?
A guy in Nottingham is running a Suzuki GT750 done up as a TR750 Barry Sheene replica. Goes to the Grey Goose occasionally.
I wonder if it's the one I restored with my brother in-law
Really nice rebuild, top drawer. The only way this video could be any better would be with some NEXX product placement 😂
I hope you’ve bought one with all this nudge nudge advertising 🤣
Whatever happened to the modern clean two stroke engines that's been developed? Work of art with a smell of Castrol R
