- Finally an onboard video of my lovely two stroke bike - Suzuki RGV 250 Γ (VJ22) - on the Nürburgring Nordschleife (Touristenfahrten 30.04.2024). The conditions were very good for riding!
At least 8:32 BTG.
8:20-8:25 should be possible. Maybe next time.
To be honest, the bike is almost "too slow" (and I'm too heavy...) for this track, and it's kind of torture for the little bike. It also has less power up there (~300-600m) than at sea level because of the air pressure...
BUT it's still a lot of fun! And as you can see, she did very well :)
Mods on the bike:
- MuS Förster cylinder heads
- Cougar valves
- JL exhaust system
- Modified gearbox with long first and second gear
- Optimized suspension
- WP steering damper
- Lightweight battery and other weight reduction (weight approx. 155kg with fuel)

Kompliment, Kenner und Könner, dein Fichten Mopped läuft super Gut und ist f.d. Nordschleife finde ich PERFEKT übersetzt, es tut GUT mal wieder nen 2 Takter Video zu sehen und zu hören, ich habe das Video wirklich genossen. Möge der Gott des Gripps dich nie verlassen, sitzenbleiben und viel Spaß haben und die dicken Böcke verblasen.

Love it! Listening to that sweet two-stroke music is soo good. The only regret is not being close to smell the sweet smoke from the pipes 😊. It seems like the RGV, due to its low weight and good suspension-chassis combo has great mechanical grip because it doesn’t work its tires too much. It keeps up with the -what I think is a - race prepped Seat Leon in the corners after it passes you in a relatively straight part of the track. Would you agree? The new camera and microphone set-up is wonderful too. Looking forward to seeing your other bikes in the Ring soon 👍👏…
I think it was tuned Hyundai i30N or something like that :)
The RGV is very fast in corners due to "thin" tires and you can brake very late because of the low weight
Wait wait...23-08-2023 you were on nordschleife with rgv 250 ,and near your bike was rg500 ...and bmw m1000rr and my R1 ...after your lap you was very tired...was very hot...I take a picture of your rgv......
Haha, nice. Yes, I am always tired after a few laps. Especially with the rgv. You have to work hard with this bike

Es ist unglaublich grandios. Ein Könner am Werk. Kenne die Leistungsproblematik bei langen Geraden und bergauf. War nämlich 1991 mit einer ZXR 400 (65 PS) auf der Nordschleife unterwegs. Zeit verrate ich nicht, ich schäm mich!

runs really good afte some carb adjustment.
I use +2 teeth at the rear sprocket, but at the nordschleife it would be better to take less teeth, to be honest.
Extrem fast. How much HP do you have? I ride a RD 350 YPVS 31k.
The bike should make around ~70hp
What tires are you running an witch dimentions?
