Bit of a mixed bag this one with the games tested! Esports titles like Apex, Rocket League, Valorant all ran fine but I think I’m going to replace the i3 9100f for an i5 8500 before sale! Another worthy £15 upgrade after the sale of the 9100f. Let me know your thoughts and what you’d sell this for? Peace ✌️
def add that i5 geez that i3 is pure dogshit it should be renamed to pentium gold =)) i am playing fortnite better with a i7 3770 than that i3 the difference being the 8 threads since the performance is the same
Hi mate, yeah don’t worry I’ve slapped an i5 in it now, well I will when it comes. It was nice to see the i3 and 1650 struggling in perfect unison though! Haha
Nice touch there buddy! I think with the next generation of ever demanding games plus everyone’s feeling the financial pink at the moment there’s some real bargains about 😎
When I used to sell pc's and I'd get one like this, I'd install a large hard drive (2tb then, now days 3 or 4tb, some people still like to store their media) and a dvd/bluray player and sell it as media pc/light gaming pc (This will easily play 4k video.) I don't know how profitable that is these days. 🤔
Hi James, I offer 2TB HDDs if I have them but tbh I don’t even bother looking for them these days. With £33 for a new Sata 1TB SSD and just over £60 for a 2TB it’s hard to recommend HDDs. Though the cheap SSDs do slow down dramatically when full.
No I’m not a massive fan of the 1650 especially the GDDR5 version! The GDDR6 model just about pulls through! 1060 is one to watch but even then it’s starting to struggle at 1080p, I think the budget card to watch is the 1070/1070ti/1080 going forward but we’ll see 🙏🏼
@andystech101 there's also the RX 480 and 580s to be had really cheap now too. I got an RX 580 8GB for £50 last week and that's still munching away at 1080P well and 4K.
i can either go this route of getting an i3 8th gen system unit with standard psu and motherboard for $90-100, and just upgrade the cpu into i5 later on which is a hassle but its manageable, or ill go straight to an i5 8th gen for $120, but i have to endure the dell mb and psu 😆 you got a very great deal there, if that system unit were sold here, it wouldve been priced around $160-$200
Personally I’d go for the i5 if you can for tue sake of $20! I’d see what I can find 9th gen systems for also as you can go i7 9700 down the line. The PSUs aren’t that bad and tbh there well built just dam proprietary 👺
Can't complain for the price you paid. Definitely add the i5 for the sale. 2 more cores and the bump to 2666MT/s ram speed will make a big difference. I'll be expecting a comparison video wink wink nudge nudge.
Yes definitely going with the i5, I’ve got a Dell with an i5 8500 next week but not sure I’ll squeeze one out with this system, we’ll see if it sells before I get a chance 🙏🏼
Cheers mate, shame about the 9100f! I remember being really impressed when it released but sadly it hasn’t aged to well when you compared it to the 10100f that came a year later 😅
I'm surprised you wouldn't just add the i5 in for resale. Seems like you could get an extra 50-70 for it easily, for only £35 out of your pocket. Great video!

Definitely!
check out the i7 8700 think you can pick them up for around 70-80 quid
I've really missed these types of videos, its truly my favorite type of video from your channel, budget builds are too fun
Thanks Jonathan I do love messing around with these budget systems and I’ll try to get more out like this 😎
Absolutely love your videos man, cant wait to see just how big the channel can get!
Cheers buddy appreciate that and thanks for coming along for the ride 😎
0:55 The air quality just went down in your area :D
Haha 🤘🏻
The price is great. Love to see this kind of content from fellow RUclipsrs
I’ll check your channel out 🙏🏼
@@andystech101 heads up: it’s in Spanish 😂 I have not had the mind to add subtitles in English, but that’s coming soon
For £100 that is an amazing buy Andy another killer video 😁😁
Thanks mate appreciate it 😎
Nice system. Man down, sh*t, Eurgh lol
Haha yeah something like that 😎
Noooo that PC was perfect for me 🤣 Love your British accent, Nice video Andy ❤️
Haha cheers buddy, it was dusty but not filthy, I think another year or two’s use and it would have needed a Frenchy level of cleaning 😎
Would certainly upgrade to the i5 8500 but hopefully you sell it as is. Would be a decent gaming PC for a young kid just wanting to get into PC gaming

Nice pickup for £100, will make a nice PC for someone, how are you finding sales?
Cheers buddy, little bit slow on the sales side of things but it always is this time of year, ticking over I’d say 😅

A nice little flip there, I'm not a fan of the 1650 cards. I tend to stick 1060 6GB cards in instead.

@@andystech101 dell psu can handle gtx 1050 2gb right? thats the only video card thats closest to me and the only decent one for my $50
Yes that’s a straight fit 💪🏼

That would be a nice computer for me. Shame the case doesn't have drive bays, so I could add a floppy and DVD drive.
Trouble with modern cases 😭
That's a steal at £100!

I thought you had a dead animal in your bushes 😂😂 but then I saw it was breathing
🤣 I do wonder that sometimes, he’s no spring chicken.
could you do a benchmark for a pc with AMD 5 3600 AND GTX 1050ti 4gb
If I get a 3600 in at some point I’ll definitely do a video on it!
cat
Not mine but it does like to do it’s business in my flower bed 😅

Hi Jason yes I have come to my senses, I’ve sold the i3 for £20 and brought an i5 9400f from CEX for £37 delivered so only £17 extra in now 🤘🏻
