Aaron is one of the greatest singer song writers of this generation.....everyone is telling to react to the most popular songs like "outside" "something to remind me" "so far away", but lets go waaaay back with "Come Again" or "Spleen" or "Excess Baggage" or "me" or "just go" or" home" or "raw" Oh and all you STAIND fans here listening and watching....Aaron and Mike confirmed that NEW STAIND is on the way!!!!!!!!
It's been awhile. That fits each and everyone's lives. No matter how deep or surface level the displacement we can all relate in way or other. Another 💯 to our Great reactors Shawn N Mel.
I played Outside from them at my big brothers funeral! Be and my brother were addicts and my brother best friend never made it through the process of getting better and healing! RIP Tom! But i got 10 years clean and feel amazing and staind got me through some very very very dark days! Thanks for playing!
Y'all gotta do, the live version of Staind, (Something to remind you). It's a very powerful song and you will connect with the instruments in the first 20 or so seconds.
Great voice, Aaron definitely has a soothing voice...he also can scream it, check out their older songs, (Mudshovel), it’s the first song I heard from them 🤘🏼
Finally you guys are the only big reaction channel that has reacted to Staind they are such a good band as well as one of the pioneers of the rock and metal genre in my opinion I hope you react to more of there music in future videos this made my day 😀
I love Staind. Aaron sings with raw emotions. He's good I seen him live and he was better live then in a sound proof room. What a voice... Great reaction you guys.
Aaron always sings with emotions you can feel. One one the best vocalist ever!!! Check out more of his country songs or Staind, can't go wrong with either
Aaron Lewis has such a beautiful voice. You should definitely try Something to remind you...live version.. you can really feel that song. Epiphany is one of my favorites, too. Much love Shawn and Mel ❤️️
The song an album came out right as I was turning 30 years old. My life changed because it doesn't matter what the dysfunction that you have burned Bridges is just by acknowledging it and saying it out loud you take the first step. But to this day now that I'm in my 50s and a grandma I still have to remind myself sometimes, that it's been a while. For young people who think that your discretions because of chemical or substance addiction humiliates you, wait till you're sober. There is never a time in one's life when they cause themselves regrets. Your family's hurt but you're doing that hurt to yourself. There's lots of hurts that can destroy a life but don't ever tell yourself I can't take it back.
Such a beautifully written song. You can always tell to that you are jamming to a staind song. Aaron Lewis has one most distinctive voices not only in rock history, but country as well. He puts so much emotion in his vocals. Now it’s time to react to song outside!!
It's been SO LONG since I've heard this song! (I was going to make the pun, but y'all already did in the video lol) Thanks for reintroducing it to me ❤ Right Here and So Far Away by them are amazing as well
First vid I’ve ever watched of you two and can i say, you guys are just too cute for words!!! This is one of my fave albums of all times and I want to say Pressure was the song I just loved. Man I miss great rock music. Subbed!
Song resonates so much with me. Pretty much a microcosm of my faults. Self destruction when things are going great for me is the cycle I'm working to break and this song reminds me of that Everytime I hear it.
Staind "Something to Remind You" live is a great video! "Epiphany" has always been one of my favorites also. Aaron Lewis does a lot of sit down acoustic sets, story telling and covers. A few of those great covers are Linkin Park's "Crawling", Alice in Chain's "Nutshell" and "Rooster", Tool's "Sober" and many others. A real entertainer there with an unbelievable range.
I really like your reactions. I have the same mindset. Cross the divide. I grew up in Detroit in the late 60s. One of few white families. Music Motown really helped with neighbors. First band i got into Sly and the Family Stone. I was 8 years old. For somet reason really connected. Bless you all. Peace.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching y'all rock out to Staind, especially Mel. I could see you getting into it the way I did when I first heard it. From one Mel to another plus a Shawn, Rock On! You have a new subscriber. 🙂👍
That's a great song... Just wish you didn't watch the edited version. Another good one from Stained is 'Outside'...and if you do watch and react to it watch it live from 'The Family Values Tour' with Fred Durst, the lead singer from Limp Bizkit backing him up. That performance is powerful!!
Was always one of my favorite songs of all time. After my breakup about 2 years ago with the woman i loved, it was very hard for me to listen to this song. Amazing what a song can do to you when you listen to it.
Great reaction!! Is there anyway you can react to STAIND and the song is called “Something To Remind You” LIVE (last song of the night and the whole band walked off besides the guitar player and singer) , I think everyone can relate to this masterpiece. Cheers from Texas
Check out one of the more recent live versions of this song and see how it's evolved, and remained a staple for so many people. Aaron Lewis is one of the best songwriters of our generation.
I take it you two like this song...... I do for a different reason. I was on Hastings Range on Ft. Benning, GA 10 days away from going to Bonsia when my wife told me she was pregnant with our second son. This was back in 2001. The whole way through that deployment this was my theme song.
Me and my girlfriend at the time when this came out bought this album Break the Cycle I think it was, played it so much it ended up so scratched up it was unplayable, lol.Really like Aaron's voice, great song and album, great choice 👍

His cover of ‘what hurts the most’ is amazing. Aaron actually changed genre to Americana country
My wife and I saw his country show in Amarillo and couple years ago. It was phenomenal!
@@charleysage5827 If your lucky enough, not to be at a show where his whiny ass walks off in the middle.
@@scottthompson4193 facts😂

Aaron Lewis switching to country is one of the biggest travesties in music history.

Story Time: I haven't heard so far away since 2002, it was playing when I was told my grandmother died.
Yesss, an S&M Squad reaction!!! Ya'll just made my day with one of my personal favorite bands, Staind. 🤩

Muh favorite Staind song is called Please. Love me some Staind! Also, I've heard people say this song is about drug addiction and not a relationship.

What do you mean by “edited version”?
@@Damien_Paxton I think they mean it’s the censored version - the swear words are taken out.
He’s the “Human Jukebox” seen him twice wit Staind & once solo. Aaron is legit, tons of gems on YT
Staind - so far away
Was always one of my favorite songs of all time. After my breakup about 2 years ago with the woman i loved, it was very hard for me to listen to this song. Amazing what a song can do to you when you listen to it.
If you like this one, you should hear him sing country boy. His name is Aaron Lewis, he sings country now.
I can relate to this song more than you know
Great reaction!! Is there anyway you can react to STAIND and the song is called “Something To Remind You” LIVE (last song of the night and the whole band walked off besides the guitar player and singer) , I think everyone can relate to this masterpiece. Cheers from Texas

Very deep lyrics! Especially the way you taste! C’mon who writes that without feeling that?
That lyric gets me every time.
As an addict I lost the love of my life. I can still remember…
