I never understood why everybody talk chit about this band and nickelback. I'm a Metalhead but I like just about everything.
@@s.l.s.l.1405 just one of those things, notion was put forward somehow it gained steam and just became a thing to hate on nickelback and creed.
My friends always laughed when I said I liked them. 20 years later, they've somehow grown to enjoy them🤣🤣🤣
Scott Stapp on vocals, he wrote this song when he found out they were gonna have a baby. I hope you dive into their catalogue, especially their first two albums.

This song came out around the time I had my first son. I played it for him a s a baby all the time.
This band is grossly criticized by alot of people, but they put out some incredibly meaningful music.
Creed was another group of talent that didn't get credit they deserved. Paying attention to lyrics a must. Love

What made their popularity shrink was their concerts after 2002. Scott started having too much fun if you know what I mean. Favorite band but I can't deny that

My father gave me that CD when I was a little kid and I still listen to that album to this day. Completely underrated band.

This was the biggest band in the world in 98 and 99. The 3 musicians are from Florida and formed Alter Bridge. The lead singer was kicked out of a college in Tennessee and made his way to Florida where he found Creed. He and the lead guitarist wrote most if not all the songs.

I literally have a Creed album for every pivotal moment of my adult life. Their music has helped heal my heart through many hurts and losses. One of the best bands ever for me. From the first song and Album "MY OWN PRISON" In the year 2000 the song "HIGHER" saved my life. It was played when l woke up and as l fell asleep for 6 months... Scott Stapp's lyrics heal the soul! "Say I" and "What if" are phenomenal also! I could go on for days about Creed hits!
Lullaby is the song I sing to my wife who gets night terrors.
Fam I was a big Creed fan back in the day and still love their songs. I was just listening to Creed and their music is as meaningful as ever.

Scott Stapp is a great rock singer. He has some awesome music he has done both with Creed and on his own. You should go through his entire catalog of music and you are sure to find some songs you absolutely will love.

Creed is one of my all time favorite bands! Yes, in the past Scott Stapp the lead singer who wrote there lyrics had a issue with alcohol and depression but that is old news! He has six years of sobriety and he and his old band’s members are in a great place with each other! So go down the rabbit hole of Creed, so many great meaningful songs and they rock! Scott had found out he was going to be a father for the first time and he was at sound check and Mark the lead guitarist was messing around on his guitar and Scott hear it and asked him to keep playing what he was playing and the song happens in like 15 minutes! It went on to win a Grammy! Please check out My Sacrifice, One, What’s This Life For, One Last Breath and you have to, it’s a must, My Own Prison! I look forward to these reactions, thanks guys🤟❤️🎶🥰Also I just saw Scott Stapp perform live in 2018 & 2019 and at Boardman, Oh, he did a last minute shoutout to my son Christian on his song Overcome, my son was 23 in 2019 and had issues with drinking and drugs but is going on 3 years clean now and Scott had him backstage at his show and was very kind and gracious to us both and was very inspiring when he talked to him about what he himself had experienced and my son lost his step brother to heroine overdose and told him it wasn’t his fault! He couldn’t had been more kind or down to earth but he did lift him up and was proud of where my son is with his sobriety! Scott is a inspiration to those that struggle because he’s been there and he’s uplifting to his audience and talks about those struggles at his shows, he tells you reach out and ask for help you to can Overcome! That shout out is on my you tube channel!🤟🥰

Creed is Christian Rock, there is a lot of biblical and spiritual undertones in their music, prob why you felt so inspired.
"My Own Prison" was always a fave for me, or "Faceless Man"

Stapp did, indeed, become "born again" after he suffered from his various substance abuse and mental health issues, but Creed were never a Christian rock band. Both Stapp and Mark Tremonti have explicitly and vehemently denied it.
One of the first rock songs I felt in high school. His voice though 🔥🔥🔥 those lyrics to his first born child 🙌🤍 reminds me of my amazing God given husband im blessed to have such a committed and strong spouse 🙌

PLEASE do more Creed. Their first album is an underrated monster. Try "My Own Prison", "Torn", "Ode", "What's this life for", and "One" (a song about race). They're all so good. The whole album is brilliant and rocks pretty fucking hard.
This is my song to my only son.............. Changed my life for the better..... Id be dead by now if it wasnt for him...... Also just got full custody off him 5 months ago due to his mom having a drug problem..... He is so much better now, perfect grades, many friends, the best on his team in baseball........ Going to be starting racing gokarts on dirt which is his dream...... Anything for my baby boy..........ANYTHING!!!!!!!!! I owe him my life..........
