Vaccinations are definitely a public safety issue because your kid could get other kids sick. Honestly starting sports in highschool was the only thing that kept me out of trouble. I would not have been able to play these sports if they drug tested me. All this is doing is preventing someone from doing something that could prevent the use of drugs at a young age.

First off, it isn't against your "constitutional rights" for a school to require a drug test to join activities that the school sponsers. It is against the law for them to require one for you to attend school. Secondly, what "constitutional right" is it even against. Third, if you want to join the club that you "love so much" (and that the school is paying) just pee in the cup. You also have to realize that just because you don't do drugs, doesn't mean there aren't kids who wont. It's a similar reason for why you need ID to vote. Just because you won't cheat the system doesnt mean others wont.

Literally at our school before signing up for a club it states they need to be signed up for random drug testing or they cant be involved and usually they just give everyone random numbers and some number gets called to get drug tested
Honestly starting sports in highschool was the only thing that kept me out of trouble. I would not have been able to play these sports if they drug tested me. All this is doing is preventing someone from doing something that could prevent the use of drugs at a young age.
I faild a drug test it came back posiitive for amphetamins and when i tried to explain that i had a perscription for 2 ADHD medication they dident listen. That day sucked

First off, it isn't against your "constitutional rights" for a school to require a drug test to join activities that the school sponsers. It is against the law for them to require one for you to attend school. Secondly, what "constitutional right" is it even against. Third, if you want to join the club that you "love so much" (and that the school is paying) just pee in the cup. You also have to realize that just because you don't do drugs, doesn't mean there aren't kids who wont. It's a similar reason for why you need ID to vote. Just because you won't cheat the system doesnt mean others wont.

I don't see how this is so bad for the students I am a middle school student and I would like people who take drugs to be caught because at my brother's highschool heaps of people take drugs, including my brother who is 13 (we have been in contact with the police about it and we have tried to control him but we can't) and I really think these people need to be caught for the safety of our communities!
Big deal! When I played lacrosse in high school our coach gave us mandatory prostate exams every other week! If you refused or you fail then you don't play. Thankfully I never failed.

If they are going to have these rules, teachers should have to drug test as well. Why not? We had a principal at a school in my city who was hooked on heroin or meth, he freaked out and led police on a high speed chase across the state line. What is more dangerous, a student on drugs or a adult teacher around children on drugs?

Exactly we had a teacher who’s own son kept saying that she was addicted to cocaine and she lost custody of him due to that and months later surprise she goes ape shit on her class after a student sneezed and they search her classroom and found cocaine. we had to do this for cheer at the beginning of the season. they wouldn’t let us use the sinks, so we had to walk all the way to the cheer gym (which is a mile away from where we were drug testing) just so we could wash our hands before our game.
