Storm chaser here; the April 26 tornado event was a fucking miracle. On that day, we had numerous mile wide tornados and one possible two miler, several EF4, possibly EF5, strength tornados, many of which hit cities (Omaha, Nebraska caught two). Zero deaths. One severe injury. I expected a double digit death count (I was watching on radar as I was unable to chase that day). April 27 had a lot less tornados and those that did touch down were weaker, but they occurred at night and were a lot more rain wrapped (thanks low level jet) and thus was a lot less of a miracle and is the reason Oklahoma is currently in a state of emergency
@@jameskarg3240 yeah on the 27th you all didn't get much but one cyclic supercell just kept dropping tor after tor on the 26th. Check again...canards have radar cross-section about the size of an F4 Phantom. The root of the canard is the problem; where it joins to the aircraft is a sharp corner. The only platforms the T-14 threatens are the ones active when the first gen Abrams rolled off the line any models after that one will pretty much laugh at it. Which means they are about 30 years behind in the tank arms race.
Plus due to the circumstances tanks are being used more as high mobility artillery rather than direct combat, so they're more than enough. Only if air superiority could be achieved, more advanced tanks would make sense.

Okay. Nevermind. I googled my way to an answer.". Interesting. And not that surprising, to be honest. Before gay and bisexual men in the West started to come out of closet several decades ago, there were similar things. Hell, in some homophobic US states, I promise you there are still plenty of married "straight" men who say they are going out with buddies for a drink (which might be true) but end up with their end-up.
Source: Trust me bro. No. Seriously. Just trust me. I'll spare you my long inventory of proof.
So in the muslim world .. Uhhhh.... Yeah. They've got such medieval ideas about women, homosexuality and sex to begin with. I bet every man that an ISIS fighter threw off a rooftop was simply a gay guy who refused to give up their booty to them. Rejection hurts.
A TWO-miler? Might as well mark it as an EF6 (I know there isn't one on the scale, but seriously, if I learned anything from the movie Twister... 😅😅)
Its been kinda ugly in Texas too. Most of its NorthEast though thankfully. We just have the tailside of storms with squall-lines
@@jameskarg3240 yeah on the 27th you all didn't get much but one cyclic supercell just kept dropping tor after tor on the 26th. I hate chasing squalls because if they do drop a tornado it tends to have a lot less warning and it's a lot more likely to be rainwrapped but I'd def prefer a big squall line because they're a lot less likely to produce a really strong tornado like any of the several tornados from this outbreak
@@MultiMachinegunner nah width doesn't necessarily correspond to strength. Some of the strongest tornados are only a few hundred feet while there have been mile wide tornados barely capable of EF2 damage. This one was very likely capable of EF4 and MAYBE EF5 damage but fortunately Omaha wasn't hit anywhere near as hard as it could have been

In case anyone is wondering, canards almost completely negate stealth when they are actuated…
Check again...canards have radar cross-section about the size of an F4 Phantom.
The root of the canard is the problem; where it joins to the aircraft is a sharp corner.
This makes a very efficient 'corner reflector'.

@clearwood_. Yes you're right, Grandpa Buff has the best lines. The f-22 comes in second.
The fact that F22 now taking lines from Rorschach makes his intercept line even creepier.
funny thing, the leo2a6 they have is ANCIENT at this point to the 2a7v, 2a8 and the panther(new one). Let them have it, we don’t need it. It will be outdated even more when German engineers get access to the new military budget. Still better than T-14 Armata.

I was curious about the F35 deal that had been mentioned, and found this from a few articles: it should be noted that an UAE official said and I quote "The United States remains the UAE's PREFERRED provider for advanced defense requirements and discussions for the F-35 may be re-opened in the future." the official also added that there were discussions to "address mutual defense security conditions for the acquisition". So, even when working in close proximity to China, people prefer the US when it comes to equipment. You gotta love that name brand recognition.
