I'll always remember and love this one, the demo specifically. Lol. Because when I moved to Japan, I bought my Australian ps3 with me however they used different power and TV signals. I bought a TV, an expensive purchase at the time, only for it to not accept my ps3. After buying more things and different cables for it, finally I was blessed with a crisp 720p image of these cars rocketing across the screen. I was so happy to get it working, I'll never forget it.
Nice to see someone still talking about the game. I played and loved the multiplayer demo, with friends..that was crazy and I'll never forget it. Top 1% on most tracks on PS3 back in the day. Man!
Funnily enough, all of the games tracks seem to fit into one continuous map area. As if the game could have actually been open world at one point, and they reworked it into what it became
That's a good point. The track selection is pretty consistent, like the entire TV show is really set in the same city. I wish they had explored different vistas or weather conditions, but unfortunately, we never got a sequel.
The PSP version looks pretty cool. If I'm not mistaken, it includes some beta stuff that were not used in the console versions, like additional power plays and an extra track.
@@criticalpixels so the PSP version is not a simplyfied port ? that's pretty neat :D . altho for other versions I can't really say since I only played the PSP version. but yeah micheal bay : the game. fits pretty well indeed XD Not gonna lie when playing the game I couldn't put into word the feeling i had , like I had seen somewhere before. but then when you said it I realised "Yeah that sound about right" XD

That's a cool story!
Loved the game as a kid & still do today. Was really bummed the hinted sequel never happened.

@@Jagpagacothere's a PlayStation exclusive racing game that does something similar. I think it's something about apocalypse racing or something.
@@illusiveelk2558 Motorstorm : apocalypse ?
is this the one on PSP?
Yep, there’s a PSP port, but the one in the video is the PC version.

What's the main issue? I'm still trying to improve it 🫠
