Tonight, we show you how to make Yakisoba at home! The most important thing is that Yakisoba Sauce! And boy - we think we nailed that Tokyo flavor. It's a mix of Worcester Sauce, Oyster Sauce, Water, Sugar and a touch of ketchup. And voila... an amazing bowl of Yakisobaa!! Ah, we're so happy with this one!

Finally got a chance to make this and it's a hit! Pre-soaking the soba is a good idea as the packs I bought were rather oily. Putting it in water for a minute or two helps get rid of some of the excess oil.

Just made this with my son. We doubled the recipe and omitted the meat and shrimp. It had too much of a ketchup-y taste for me, but my son loved it and asked for a second serving. Thanks for being a source of entertainment for my four year old that’s not paw patrol. 😝

I'm totally going to try that sauce! So easy! But tomorrow I will make ramen for my family, with a Korean touch (gochujang sauce). So happy that our supermarkets in Switzerland finally have some Korean products :) you guys really inspired me to renew my cooking habits.

Worcestershire sauce goes really well in stir fries, and it's often used in Japan for making brown sauce to go in yakisoba, on top of okonomiyaki and some other dishes :)

Hey Dan, I don't see you using salt in this recipe. Is yakisoba noodles suppose to be sweet? I am a great fan of your cooking and am from India. We use a lot of salt in almost all of our savoury items so I am a little bit curious.

    • @yuforic

It's regional, in some parts of America they do pronounce the third syllable.
