@@fulltimeguitar gimme a few days to get on this. Basically I sing and solo note for note covers at parties and weddings. I have a Backing Tracks and I’d love to play a better improvised solo within of some of my songs. I’d be interested in private lessons if you do them?

It is nothing more than language. Some people are soul surfers. They can play but can not repeat what they have done. But they catch waves and love it. Then their are others. They have deliberate intentions to create songs. You learn theory and it becomes a road map. Once you are familar you don't need the map. Short cuts, detures, Sunday drives. Both the Soul surfer and the deliberate guy can benefit. I admire the soul surfers. I am not one. Mine is leave no stone unturned for your song. Both can be loney roads or a road where you are not alone. You are "somewhere else". If you every really kissed a girl, you go somewhere else. Then when you stop... You realize you're back.

Hi Doug, just wanna say wow, thanks so much for this great video. As someone who is obsessed with guitar and consumes a ton of guitar content on RUclips from the bigger channels, you really knocked it out of the park. Super engaging and professional video, you’re telling people what they really need to hear too!
Everyone wants to explore the entire fretboard but it makes sense that practicing limitation can force you to get down and dirty with core notes and intervals, which are so essential to understand to improve improvisation (loved the bending pun by the way😂).
To be honest I thought the video was going to be about technique and physically restraining your fingers so they don’t fly all over the place in order to play more controlled.. instead I was pleasantly surprised and super interested to learn something new. It’s a cool concept that I’m excited to try out! Immediate sub and can’t wait to check out all your other videos, keep it up and more people will appreciate your genuine efforts.
Just some friendly input: I always love when content creators add in segments of music they made, like if you opened some of your videos with a 15-30 second intro of you just jamming on a track that’d be super cool. Loved your first Am showcase and we guitar players always appreciate some flavorful music. Just an idea! If you know Quist on RUclips something that attracts me to his backing track videos is his sick soloing before he lets the track run for you to jam over.
Some more input I have is to let the video run for an extra 10-20 seconds after you finish talking at the very end and add in whatever ambient or chill music over a custom background for your channel saying to subscribe or anything at all. Definitely better than a cut off, I personally don’t mind but I know many other viewers do😂.
Anyways, glad there isn’t a character limit but appreciate ya and best regards my man!

Thanks Rakin! really glad you liked my video, and took the time to write me this awesome comment :D
The good news is there is a lot more on the way from me in terms of videos. This will include clips of me playing for sure, but full length tracks take a very long time to make, at some point in the future its gunna happen tho for sure!
in terms of end screens, i might try what you suggested, tho RUclips is a complex beast.
      anyways, thanks again! :D
