It will make your face more symmetrical. And that's definitely a good thing.
That’s nice to hear, my smile is quite uneven will see how it looks like after the treatment
@@Sevencoins7 buddy you're about to become better looking. Both with symmetry and a correct bite. It's like a facelift with straight teeth. Enjoy man.
I cant wait to fix my overbite problem
NO IT WONT STOP SPREADING MISS INFORMATION
Do you have source ?
I can’t recommend Invisalign enough. It’s such a great treatment. I am 34 and always hated my complete smile because of my lower teeth. They just look like they are thrown in with a shovel 😂 My upper is not really bad but still has to be perfectly corrected to make it all look great.
My treatment should be done in only 17 weeks which is crazy and when I look at my number 17 aligners I simply can’t imagine my teeth to be so straight and perfect. Never ever have I been looking so much forward to something. Investing in yourself is the absolute best you can do!
Im 34 aswell...just started yesterday!! I lovee it! Minimal discomfort.
Hshaaaa same problem - the lower teeth are a disasterrrr🫣🤣🤣! The upper not bad...but there s room for improvement!
I only have 15 trays....5 months i cannot wait! After this i sm going to do composite bonding to have the perfect smile....finally🥺🥺
@@themindhelp9584 Congrats with your choice. I have 6 aligners left before I am done. I can see very big improvements on the lower teeth. So excited about it! So crazy to imagine my teeth being completely straight.
Hope you will have a great treatment. It’s worth every single penny 👌🏻
@@danielrand775 yaaayyy🥳🥳🥳🥳 soon we'll be rocking our wonderful smiles😁 im so happy🫂
I assume you've finalized your treatment! Got any pictures of it?
My smile changed. It is absolutely beautiful now. I had bottom tooth crowding and the slight bite correction. My top lip is now as full as the bottom lip. Very happy with the result.
As someone having completed their Invisalign treatment I can confirm
I had a severe anterior open bite, completely closed with Invisalign, my face is more symmetrical, 100% worth it!
Can I ask you how/why you had that anterior open bite? I had an extreme case of that as a child but getting perm.teeth mostly fixed it(although it caused other issues that basically cant be fixed). In my case..my mom gave me a passifier and never took it away, it ruined my teeth, my mouth and how I talk, as well as tongue posture.
@@kuutti6777 I have a narrow upper arch, and basically should have gotten an expander as a child. I was extremely complaint when I had Invisalign and rubber bands so it worked well for me!
@@britneyhardy4534 Hey! Sorry I know this is a late comment to your original one, but how big was your open bite? mine is 8mm and Im currently on my first tray with Spark Aligners! (type of invisalign). Ps I am happy for you!
Did it give you a gummy smile?
I just put mine two days ago im very excited to go with the treatment at the end and see my nice smile
i have an overjet. my top teeth rest on my bottom lip. I'm trying to make the overjet less overjettie ( i made that up obviously) with invisalign and fix crowding on my bottom teeth. I'm a teeth person. i find myself looking at people's teeth all the time. naturally I'm self conscious about mine. i notice the older i get the more my smile has changed. i hate smiling in pics now. i no longer have that nice smile everyone used to tell me about. hopefully i can get it back after the treatment or even get a better smile than i had before.

Good luck man, I got an overbite and my teeth has been _aching_ and I cant seem to stop biting down on my teeth
“Overjettie” sounds so cute ☺️. Also how did your teeth manage to shift as you got older?
The problem is becoz you are concious about it. Go and see people around the world they smile despite their teeth conditions. It is just part of life.
Just dont let the ortho shave your teeth at the end of treatment. He shaved my front top teeth and bottom teeth undoing some of the face change that had taken place and causing tooth sensitivity and jaw issues.
Dont they just shave the things that the Invisalign’s click on to
Are you talking about IPR or the shave to make all your teeth look horizontally even?
I have always had naturally big lips but the invisalign made the shape of my lips nicer, they look fuller and equal looking. Straightening my teeth has been the best experience. I had the biggest gap in my front tooth, to the point it looked like I had a tooth missing. But it was very far back so no one could see it. It started to cut on my tongue and affected my speech too. Giving me a lisp since my tongue couldn't fully touch the roof of my palette. Now I see my smile getting better and I couldn't be happier. I no longer feel the need to hide my smile.
i have that kind of teeth and i can't even smile
I stated today. And this comment helped
I think Invisalign made my bottom lips look thicker than it was 😔
I just started Monday and hope to close the huge gap between my 2 front teeth. How's your progress now?
@@Taby0424 hello
I started two months ago. Out of 14 trays, i begin tray number 6 today. My lips look better. My smile is magical already and not many can tell why the change happened but it's making major difference in my over all face and proportions. I feel so confident in my smile and the pressure and the uneasiness in the beginning was worth it I swear to God. I can smile with my cheeks properly plump. I look lively. I feel attractive and I appear lovely all of a sudden. Earlier I had to smile to loook good now I be closed Jaws and still look on fire. I'm grateful for the smol. Changed and I wait for the final result. Please like the comment so I'm reminded to update. To anyone reading to consider whether they should get aligners of not, yes. Go for it. Just a few months and the joy lasts. Bless you. Much love
So truue. My top front tooth on my left side came out waay too early. Before my baby tooth even got loose to begin coming out. So it just pushed the front baby tooth back and the adult tooth came out so it looked like a gap and crooked tooth. Every time I smiled my top lip would rest on the tooth and my lips would look uneven. I got the baby to removed a while back and now in the process of fixing them. I can literally already notice the difference.
It helped with my jaw popping
This video is so helpful!
I’m starting my treatment next week, always been unhappy with my teeth since I hit my 20s. I also have an asymmetrical jaw/bottom lip due to how my teeth are aligned, so I hope to see the benefits of this too when finished treatment. Can’t wait!
How is it going? I'm starting in two weeks, kinda nervous. I've heard that for some people it hurts, in my case I had an overbite
@@akey_9655it’s going good so far, going into my 13th week next tuesday of changing weekly aligners. I really don’t think it hurts at all there’s just the slight initial discomfort when you change to new trays but usually surpasses after the first day. Nothing to worry about, just stay disciplined with how long you’re wearing them and you won’t have any issues!
How is it going?
@@Shadows_ShiversComing up to set 20/20 which are all straight. Really happy with the results so far as I didn’t expect to see such improvements in a short space of time. I believe they are going to take new impressions on my next visit and allocate me new sets for slight adjustments, but so far really worth it
how is it going now😊
Yep. I had an overbite. I can’t get over the difference! I actually look a little younger than I did before treatment. 😄
This what I want to be ..😛
Reallyyy,,,hmmm,,,😏😁

Did you get braces or invaslign? Please advice
Did it change your side profile?
I have a very similar teeth situation like the beautiful woman on 2:30 and 3:00. Please tell me does she get some upper teets removed for braces or not? Thanks
I'm getting Invisalign soon. I can't wait for the end result!

I got braces to close large spaces (Florence, SC)...resulted in overcorrection. Spaces closed, but left side top is lower than right side top teeth, and right side bottom higher than left! Resulting in very uneven smile. 5 years i had the braces. It was expensive and im disappointed with the results. Have to do this ALL OVER AGAIN!
The pictures you show are the same picture with Photoshop applied. Why ?
I feel changes all around my face, my gums, my jawline, my cheeks, even my nose. My mouth wants to pucker up or frown but I keep reminding myself to smile. Throughout the day I find some relief when I massage my cheeks & jawline. I rub or massage my nose but I don't find relief there. The first 3 days were the worst. On my 18th day now. Still sooo much discomfort. I only find relief when I'm sleeping.
hows it going so far? im 11 days in. havent seen much change, & i wear these fuckers for 22.5 hrs a day lmao.

@@blackrose-uk4ci I looked closely today while starting week 5 and can't see it yet...
@@LoveFluffybums1I've started yesterday and removing invisalign with attachments its horrible. Also my teeth are in such a great pain. I cant even bite properly my food once i take it off. Does it get better? Pls tell me it does
@damurichannel Hi, I am not sure about the pain since I never had that (except I usually feel the trays tight on the 1st day of a new week). But about the food, I did have problems in the very beginning too. It did get better with time.
Now I am on trays week #7, and finally, last week, I started seeing change in teeth moving their position.
Did u keep the Invisalign?
@damurichannel Also I do feel that my teeth r much more sensitive than before especially when I eat.
I just got it for my top row. On day 3. My speech is off a little and it feels tight but I'm slowly getting used to it.
a year later, was it worth it?e
I'm getting invisalign GO, will it make the same improvement symmetrically as the normal invisalign?
when i went to get invisalign i asked them if it will help correct my recessed jaw caused from overbite and they said no and that it’ll only correct my teeth and not jaw structure at all, is this true?
Thanks for the tips .. but the music was hell loud
My lateral incisors protrude but my 2 front teeth are also slightly back, if I got Invisalign would straightening my lateral incisors cause my top lip to look smaller or thinner?
No, just more even, the size of your lips don't change, but the shape does
I know you wrote this post a year ago but I also have the exact same issue with my teeth. Did you end up getting Invisalign? I started mine in January 2024. I had one month I had to stay in the same pair because they were remaking them because I had a lisp so they changed them for me. I have worn 13 pair so far. Not sure when they will actually be done but I'm afraid that I will have a permanent frown because my protruding incisors will no longer hold my lip up. I don't want a droopy lip but I'm not sure how it will affect my smile. When the aligners are out, I feel like I'm frowning. I have a while to go so I guess time will tell.
It changed my lip, my top lip curls in when i smile and it has made my philtrum longer and most of my teeth are covered. I absolutely regret it
Before Invisalign I thought I needed fillers but apparently my lips are full, they just hiding under my overbite
Can Invisalign extend palate
Did anyone else’s bottom lip become thicker after Invisalign? Because I think mine did but I’m not sure if Invisalign was the main cause or if my lips got naturally bigger from puberty. Anyone else?
Yes teeth are brought forward
Invisalign caused me to have an open posterior bite. So, after 25 sets of Invisalign, I proceeded to have a year of conventional, metal braces to correct the open gap between all of my molars.
dang, ive noticed that too :( ive read that it eventually fixes itself though?
my doctor told me exactly the same thing 2 days ago when i went to go visit but i really don’t want to get braces he said that he would do something with the aligners next treatment hopefully the open bite gets fixed
@@angelmonroy3012 I think it depends on the severity. It happens because constantly biting into the trays pushes the molars into the ligament and bone. When finished, I went with Hawley retainers instead of Invisalign style retainers. It allowed the teeth to settle into place.
@@ShamounianExplains my ortho had spoke about cutting off the backs of the molar portion of the Invisalign trays, but I didn’t like the jerry-rigged idea. So, I just went with regular braces to do things right. They didn’t charge me extra though. I was a well-informed Invisalign patient.
@@DL-rl9bd oh thank god , i thought by the revamp of the aligners would cause the treatment have to redone or something . That’s a relief and mine isn’t that bad i’m overhalf way there but by the time by next appointment hits itll be 3/4 of the way done so i was worried
Aha that explains why my lips look fuller and even. I always had a crooked lip (at the right side thinner) I’m on tray 15 from 43. I’m curious what more changes it will bring.
How's your progress going ?
Congrats for doing it! I've had enough of being overly self conscious and critical of pictures of myself.. I'm all in to get my teeth straight. I just hope i get offered a payment plan to cover the cost of pre-clear aligner help, and not just the aligner part..
@@nmana9759 Amazing! I had an open bite at the left side and gosh, Its like it never was there! Now on tray 30 :D
@@lindseyrush1603 I was the same like you! I hated to smile… I hope you get your plan. Also look around and follow your gut feeling! Never settle just because someone gives you a beautiful talk. Ask all the questions you want answer to also. Good luck!
@@SweetSugarLemonade I have a question for you. Did your canines become flatter? Because I'm afraid it may flatten down, whether that be a good thing or not.
Hi , Can I use ur video snippets for dentistry in the USA?
I’m on the first tray. Just 32 more to go 😢
That’s nothing lol most people have 40-60
Can correcting my deep overbite through Invisalign + bite ramps lengthen my chin ? I need my chin vertical length to increase by 7mm. When I put my lower teeth in its proper position ( no deep bite position ), my chin looks longer and nicer.
I had an overjet as well, I’m currently on tray 5/8 and id say it’s definitely lengthened my chin. My face looks better overall, however I think its sarting to lengthen my chin too much where my jaw looks shorter
He’s speaking truth 💯 it changes your face like minor facial surgery 🤣
The maxilla gets recessed which is BAD
Not always true. I had a narrow arch, and Invisalign expanded it.
I don’t think it affects the maxilla at all, just the teeth
Unless your maxilla needs to be recessed.
@@irishrepublican756 for many ppl it does with worse faces than before.
I was told my overjet wouldn't be fixable with just Invisalign, and that I would need jaw surgery to correct it.. :(
Similar that I won’t get the result without changing my whole profile…. They didn’t clear up will my jaw move at all and my overbite improve a tiny bit w invisalign what do you think
I would suggest you get a 2nd opinion from a different orthodontist (if you haven't already) since the first one I went to told me that jaw surgery was the only option... a year later i decided to consult with a different orthodontist and now we are completing my treatment non-surgically with invisalign. Maybe it won't be the same case for you, but could be worth it to check.

I’m on tray 10 and it’s made my face look horrible and sunken in, deep smile line on the left side too ): I look so old and I’m super worried… have you noticed any improvement in your face?
Same here, my teeth have been pushed so far back that my philtrum is now really long and covers my teeth when I smile and ny top lip curls up and disappears when I smile. Biggest and most expensive mistake
@@Victoriaaaa11111- my bite has definitely changed, and they wanted to change more , my teeth didn’t got totally straight at the end so I had to make extra and the extras they try to put some balls on it from inside so my lower bite would be more front and I said no!
