This is Mary Lea McSorley ...Around Sept. 1, 2022, I had told you that I intended to paint a baby photo of a woman from her photo taken in 1915. She was a small puddle of pale baby skin in this photo which was faded and 107 yr. old. I soon heard you speak of photo's as being flat. Never heard that term before but I learned. I knew that I would have to invent the the face. using the light and dark greys. I had no idea what I was in for. This painting you have performed is utterly amazing. I feel like I have been taken on a trip through a magic forest. I am certainly lacking in talent and skill but I will be joining at the $20 a month level and will submit a photo of my painting around the first of October. That timing is me being optimistic. Will you pleased acknowledge you have received this. Thank you.

26:40 so if you were painting something that is not a akin tone, for example a blue dog, you'd use something other that umber to do the underpainting?
