Tingmo or Ting momo/Tibetan steam bread/How to make soft and fluffy tingmo.

  • Tingmo is a traditional tibetan steam bread goes perfectly with pork ribs and aloodum or any shapta (spicy fried meat).
    In this recipe ,I show you how to knead ,roll,and shape the dough in order to get perfect tingmo.
    Ingredients
    600gm flour
    1tsp salt
    2 tbsp sugar
    2 tbsp instant yeast
    Warm water
    Method:-
    Mix flour,salt ,sugar,yeast and knead a smooth dough.Set aside for 30 min.Now start rolling in rectangle shape ,cut it in strips. Stack the strips two upon two and stretch, twist,twirl to shape the tingmo.
    Steam the tingmo for 12 minutes .Don't over cook.
