I am so happy that you showed this info. I'm going to try and do this on the Steam Link and Oculus VR. I'm always having trouble getting these to connect to the PC within the network. This gave me a greater understanding of how it works. I kind of figured out most of it without your help, and the really well planned out UI with tooltips. Thanks so much for this amazing privacy program. I plan on being a customer for a very long time with this kind of service. Woo! 😁

Have you heard of the "new" Tailscale functionality of Mullvad? Will something like that be possible with the SPN in the future, or is there already a way to combine them both. For people with a NAS it is a killer feature.

There are actually two related things we have thought about.
Yes a connect back to other spn devices with the same account has been something we thought about.
And also a collaboration with another reputable company like Mullvad or Ivpn to pool resources and expertise.

Well I tried Portmaster and is really useful, sadly it seems it lacks some more control over the "Force Block Incoming Connections" bypass, I have AgentDVR running withc uses WebRTC and Portmaster simply blocks access to it and I have no way to enable it. There should be a simple Override to the "Force Block Incoming Connections", for example, simply allow all incoming connections to a specific port or port range. If there is this option I can't find it.

Hey, I am a bit confused, where in the video did I loose you? the process is as simple as disabling FB incoming connections, finding the connection and then setting up the rules in simple steps...
If I better understand what you did not understand, I can improve for the future :D

What if I'm away from the computer and have setup a port forwarding in my router to the computer with Portmaster? 🤔

There is nothing you could do.
Portmaster is intended for home users to gain easy access to better privacy.
If you are advanced enough and took the time to setup a port forwarding you can allow the necessary connections in Portmaster at the same time.
      There is no backdoor.

If you actually have someone at home, you can consider using something like any desk to get the initial connection (given you did allow any desk to connect like it has to) and then setup the device like this and then close any desk.

@@SafingIO Tnx for the answer, no I don't think I will be needing it in my home. I currently use OpenVPN to connect to my Unifi Dream Mashine Pro.
But I do have customers that I perhaps could remotly help if they where using Portmaster, but that is also out of the question as they are behind routers. Portmaster probably blocks Teamviewer too so that probably leave me with using this only for my laptop when roaming around 😀
Thank you for the video tutorial, it will probably help out a lot of other ppl.
