I would like to thank from my heart this lady for her clear explanation of the installation and use of the machine. I benefited greatly from her in learning how to use my machine, which I purchased from Amazon a week ago - thank you again, wonderful lady.
@@bloominhometogarden Thank you! The instructions are useless, the fact your video was instructive and easy meant I was set up in 10 minutes and using it today. Great work, thank you again 👌
This is the best explainer video I’ve seen on RUclips. I watched it once and had it assembled in no time. With most similar videos you have to watch it 100 times over to follow the steps. Thank you!
Thank you so much for taking the time to make a video of setting up the Evolution mitre saw. I have just bought one and was a bit worried about getting it right. You made it very easy to follow. Great job. 😊
The best unboxing and explanation video ive seen for this bit of kit, sort of dwayed now to purchase one. One question though (due to storage limitations) whats the rough dimensions when its all closed up for storage? (Blade down and rotated to 45°)
Thanks so much! The size is approx ... H 16 inch W 24 inch D 25 inch. It's a brilliant saw, so easy to use. Would highly recommend it! I built a whole new decking area with it.
Got in from work at 18:45 and couldn’t help myself had to try setting up my new garage toy 😢 1:50 I have put that piece in upside down and it will not come back out, I have pressed both lugs in while my gf tries to pull it back out but it simply won’t And I can not get the cutting blade to lift either , I don’t know if it is Because I have put the slider on wrong way up or if the locking pin is stuck/needs removing 🤯
The silver locking pin should not be removed. It is hard to pull out. Can you see the green plungers with putting the part on upside down? If that is upside down, then the cutting head couldn't of locked itself on to it.The green plunger has to be pressed firmly in and at the same time pull the lug out. Hopefully you have sorted it by now.
There is 4 holes, as you can see on the video. You can just screw it onto a worktop. I've got the workmate. I could imagine you can, as long as you don't mind screwing into the wood part on the workmate.
Hi again. I have set up my saw, how do i get the cutting blade to go up? Its in the locked position as it was when i took it out of the box but i cant get it to lift up. The silver pin doesn't pull out!. I know its probably obvious but i cant seem to unlock it? HELP!!!! Thank you. 😊
I used your video to help set up my evolution mitre saw.. thank you for that. Could I please ask a trouble shooting question: since setting up (about 4 weeks) things have been great. Last 2 days I’ve noticed the saw is leaving a tiny edge at the bottom of the wood uncut. (The Bottom edge touching the fence) I’ve made sure it’s clean and nothing is stopping the blade cutting through that last bit. Is there anything I can do to adjust the saw to fix this please?
There is a depth stop on the left of the blade, you may of knocked that. Just needs adjusting slightly. Depth stop is handy if you don't want to cut straight through. Hope this helps!
@@JoshLindsay-b6o can you not actually see the green pin at all then? If the pins are pushed in then the white plunger should be able to be prised out I only know the way I've done it. 2.45 minutes into the video sorry!
Its ok, i used a screwdriver to press it out. Phew!!!! If only i knew what i am doing?. Its scary using power tools if you have never used one.. I am about to build in shelves so here hoes nothing!!! Thank you. 😅
Press down on top of the blade, then pull the pin out. Good luck with your shelves. I've replaced all my decking in the back garden. The saw made the cutting so much quicker. I measured each piece of wood half a dozen times. You can't afford to cut a piece of wood to short, with the price of wood now!! You will soon get used to the saw.
@@bloominhometogarden Thank you... It's so good having someone helping. Makes it so much easier. Hopefully I won't loose any digits Lol. Looking forward to seeing your other videos. I need the stand for it now. Do keep your videos going especially if your doing DIY projects. Thank you again. Very much appreciated. 👍
Thanks very much. I do keep meaning to do more videos. I've got one of the decking I built, but needs editing and uploading. Want to do more of the saw too. It's really time consuming to do the videos....filming, editing and uploading, it takes hours. Takes me hours anyway.....lol
Pt2 Thank you so much. Spent 9 days looking at the boxes.
Glad this video helped too ... enjoy your saw ...makes cutting so easy!
