I was completely surprised that it didn't fall into the "paradox Pokemon" brand of "not legendary but clearly power creeped and therefore not in this format". Like, genuinely didn't expect it to show up that feels busted.

Reg H genuinely might be my favorite ruleset. So many Pokémon that have been considered niche or just bad have risen to the top with glory (like Sneasler and Decidueye-H) and so much variety. I'm gonna miss it.

Having legendaries and Mythicals banned is a fun concept honestly, cuz it brings up the question, “If there was a number 1 Pokémon master in our world, what team would they have?” Which I like cuz having more than 10 Zacians at the same time wouldn’t make sense.
Forbidding legendary pokemon for this tournament was one of the best decisions in my opinion. It brings so much more variety into the tournament and such cool new team setups. I love it!

In regards to Clefairy vs Clefable, Stat increasing Stuff like Eviolite (for Clefairy) and Huge Power (for Azumarill) are also increasing the effectiveness of IVs and EVs. For instance, Azumarill has 50 base AD. Huge power doesn't just make it like he has 100 base AD, it's also doubling his attack IV (so +64, not +32 from 'Best' IV), and doubles effectiveness of EVs (so +126, not +63 from fully trained at level 100). So it's more like Azumarill has 150 effective base Attack. The same logic applies to Eviolite. Even though Clefairy barely comes short of Clefable's base defense, even with a 50% boost, it ALSO boosts the EV trained defense stat. Putting Clefairy way over even a defense-trained Clefable.

@@JeanKP14 If Soundproof is okay as it is, then some earplugs would be fine as an item. It's just the sort of thing to keep Sound moves from overcentralizing everything.
